Do you ever have trouble using BOGO coupons to get free products? I went to Dillons to buy the Bird's Eye SteamFresh Meals For Two because I had BOGO coupons. I had three coupons and I picked up four meals assuming that I would pay for one of them. The cashier counts up my items and matches them with the coupon and says I have to buy six meals. I said fine and took one of my coupons back. I didn't fight it because that is what it says on the coupon, BOGO. I just figured that if they didn't catch it, then it's a bonus, but then am I unethical? They get paid either way. So what are your opinions?

P.S. I also used two BOGO coupons on two Magic Erasers, which he either missed, or didn't say anything.

Ok, nevermind. It finally dawned on me to look in the Dillons facts and there was my answer:
When purchasing items that are Buy One, Get One Free, only one vendor and/or one store coupon
may be used. The item that is free does not count in meeting purchase requirements for a coupon.
Sometimes I get so tired of being the "Good Girl". Do you ever feel like throwing caution to the wind, letting your hair down, bending the rules, and using BOGO coupons to get free stuff? Uugghh!

I have never had trouble using buy 1 get one free products as I always bought 1 product and got 1 free with the coupon. Even if I had 10 b1g1 free coupons, I'd have 20 of the items in my cart, as I get 10 of them free.

As to being a "Good Girl", I actually never cheat the system as it's hard enough for us couponers as it is...if someone abuses the system, it makes it hard for us honest ones. I'm not trying to be a goody two shoes but it's really aggravating when the cashier thinks you are a criminal for using coupons even if you follow it to a tee... because of an experience they might of had with a dishonest couponer. I could care less if the cashier has to litterally pull out ALL of my items and roll their eyes because I used a coupon, but I did it honestly so it doesn't really matter. It's just sad that a cashier gets jaded with ANY coupon user because of someone tried cheating the system with them previously.

With that being said, no I never feel like bending the rules for my own benefit...why make it hard on my fellow couponers ya know? Do what you gotta do though I suppose, but imo, I wouldn't do it :whistle67:

No, I understand that. The last line was meant to be satirical. Thanks for the dose of reality though.:wink7:
