I have more RRs than I should admit, because I'm always afraid I am going to roll them wrong. I understand the concept of same manufacturer, but the manufacturer and companies they are related to is not always clear.
Would someone please just help me clear up this pile I have created this month? :hectic1:
I have RR's from the following products. Do any of them NOT play well together?
Chapstick
Vaseline (Unilever I think)
Xantac
Halls Refresh
Trident
P&G (I think this is the Fusion)
Alacer (it's for 3.50, but I don't remember the product)
Wyeth (Robitussin I think)
Quaker Oats (Related to P&G right?) :hectic1:
One just says $2 "Thank you for your purchase"
Novartis
My mom just started couponing and she's standing at Wags in another state trying to figure out how to roll hers that are similar and I don't have good answers.
TIA

The Alacer is Emergen-C and if you look at the middle of the $2, it is probably Den-Tek.

It only matters what you are spending them on, what you are purchasing with them, KWIM? You can spend them on any merchandise you want (keeping in mind they count as a coupon so you can only use one for every item you are purchasing that doesn't have another manu. Q attached to it), you just don't want to spend them on the same product you got them from since a new one will not print. I'm not sure how tricky the system is about using a P&G RR to get another P&G RR for a completely different P&G product. I think you would be safe, but someone can correct me if I am wrong.
Just watch the expiration dates, since they are only good for 2 weeks, that goes by fast and there aren't always good RR deals to spend them on within that window. Use them on anything you need or is on a good sale just so you don't let them expire. I keep mine sorted with the closest expiration date on top so I spend those first.

Chapstick - Wyeth
Vaseline (Unilever I think) yes
Xantac
Halls Refresh -Cadbury
Trident - Cadbury
P&G (I think this is the Fusion)
Alacer (it's for 3.50, but I don't remember the product) -EmergenC
Wyeth (Robitussin I think)
Quaker Oats (Related to P&G right?) http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/images/smilies/hectic%201.gif
One just says $2 "Thank you for your purchase"
Novartis- Theraflu
Quaker oats is a division of PepsiCo, so not P&G.
I don't know about the Xantac. Don't use it. The Wyeth for Robitussin would be $2.50, the one for Chapstick would be $3. You can't use the Halls (Cadbury) on the Trident (also CAdbury), for instance. Ditto with Chapstick and Robitussin, same manufacturer.

Do you know if there is a nice cheat sheet with all the companies, products, etc?
... or do I need a project?

I just Google whatever item it is and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Usually in the tiny print at the bottom it has the company name.
That would be one massive book. lol

If you google the product and the word manufacturer, it usually gives you the manufacturer as the first response.
The zantac is GlaxoSmithKline.
