Thanks for posting. Sorry guys but my brother in law (dh's brother) died on the 11th and I haven't been around much. Dh is gone (in Mexico) and I am home alone. Kind of stressful, especially since work is busy and I can't be there. To top it off, dh has h1n1 and so does my youngest ds. Has been going on since my brother in law died. Anyway, thanks for everyone's work.

Hey! Thanks for the early ad!

It's a 10/10 Sale People!!

I just looked quick, but this is what I see so far:

Reames Noodles on 10/10, FREE with .50/1 insert coupon doubled

Post Cereal (selected varieties) and Nature Valley Granola Bars and Chex Mix Bars on sale for 4/$10. Buy 4, get $4 off!
Lots of possibilites here, depending on what coupons you have. For the ones I have it would be around 1.20 for 3 nature valley and 1 chex mix bars after coupons doubled and e-coupons!

Good week to use those ''fresh selections'' salad cats. I keep getting the 1.00/1 cats and they are .99 this week.

I'll keep lookin'!

buy 3 boxes of hamburger helper for .92 each. Combine .75/3 (doubled) insert coupon with e-coupon.

Kroger Tortilla Chips on 10/10. If you haven't used the shortcuts e-coupon for .65 yet, you can get them for .35.

Don't forget to print the IP's for 2.00/1 Nestle and Wonka candy. The IP is for 24 oz.+ size bags but you still should be able to get some good deals, maybe not at Dillon's but somewhere!

Soundtrack: I checked the database and it looks like 9/27/09 SS for the Reames Frozen Noodles and 10/18/09 SS for the Healthy Choice Soup!

When I checked the database, it had a link for an IP on the reames noodles. It was still blocked for approval though. It's smartsource but it didn't show up under my zip code! Maybe some smart person knows a good zip to use for the IP to show up! hint hint

Just thought I'd share an easy and frugal family recipe I make all the time those free reames noodles we got this week:

Boil your noodles in chicken stock and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add diced chicken breast. Serve over mashed potatoes. So good!

Great job!!! :BigHand:

If you signed up for Psst... through General Mills you should have some $1.60 qs for the Clusters which is overage of .40 wyb 4!! I think there were some IPs out there for $1.60 too, but they might be expired.

Does anyone know how many times the buy 4 deal can be done in a single transaction?

I did the deal twice in the same transaction and this is what happened:

1 Shredded Wheat cereal
1 Grape Nuts
6 Nut Clusters
1 Pumpkin

Used -
1 .55/1 Shredded Wheat mfc
1 .55/1 Grapenuts mfc
6 1.60/1 Nutclusters mfc
(these came off and I'm not sure why they all came off the way they did)
(2) 1.00 q - cellfire (Looks like one is for clusters and one is for the bars?)
1.00 q - shortcuts
(2) .40 q - shortcuts (Looks like these are for the bars/products)
(2) $4.00 for the cereal/NV deal
OOP $1.55

Not too shabby!!

Thanks!

You sure can! Same with Shortcuts too! However, you can only use each e-coupon once.

Unless, for some reason, they have two available for you to load on your card. If two of the ecoupons are available and you purchase two, then they'll both come off. If you only purchase one the system will only apply one coupon and hold the other for another purchase. The same goes with applying both shortcuts and cellfire to one purchase.

I've had problems with shortcuts especially, and I just set and forget. So it's just gravy when it works right. ;-)

Couple things I saw today...nothing huge...
Yakisoba Noodles are 10/$10 - .50 mfg coupon doubled = FREE
BC Warm Delights - $1.99 - .50 mfg coupon doubled + .50 shortcut = .49
Reese's Snack Packs are $10/10 again - .55 doubled = FREE

Thanks again for those who helped with the shortcuts coupons. I did the granola bar deal, and got yogurt at a decent price.

I found a new tearpad!!!

.50/1 Energizer Batteries 4pk of AA or AAA 1ct. 9v Redeemable ONLY at Kroger Stores.

These batteries are on sale for 2.50 per pack. Combine the above tearpad with the shortcuts e-coupon for 1.00/1 pack and you can get them for .50 each (after doubling and e-coupon). There are 2 shortcuts e-coupons available.

I found the display in the seasonal aisle with all the Halloween stuff. It's a cardboard stand alone display, probably 2 ft. wide and 4 ft. tall. Tearpad is mounted in the middle towards the top!

I did really well this week at Dillons but it required alot of hustle because the stores just dont seem to be keeping up as well as usual on stock ! So I went to Nikki's store today and found they were also out of nut clusters ( got a RC) but I walked down the aisle of frozen foods looking for the noodles only to find them empty. Then low and behold ! There was a cart full of noodles and Kroger veggies. Now, I dont know if it belonged to a stockboy or what LOL - but I waited and nobody came back - the store was a total ghost town... so I helped myself to some noodles. I guess a stockboy is came back to find his noodles gone - But hey its better than neatly putting them all in the freezer and THEN have my come and empty them out - right ?!? Im going to head by Sunshine tonight, as much as I dont like dealing with the Tuesday night ppl there and see if I can find anything. Im in full mode preparing for tomorrows sale. Hopefully we can do a bunch of mega deals in the same transaction :BigHand:

I did the nut clusters and granola bars deal and then used the Pillsbury cat for milk. Then, I went over to Walgreens and did the Dove deal, twice. I am now the proud owner of 16 bottles of various shampoos and conditioners. I don't really need anything for the next mega sale except condensed milk, I only have the sweetened milk left in the cabinet. Oh, and toothpaste. I'm in desperate need of a good toothpaste deal. I think dh eats it, and his toothbrushes too.

Wasn't me who got the nut clusters!!! I've been twice and couldn't find a single bag:sad: I got some granola bars but those dang nut clusters are wiped out!!! I got a raincheck today for them, so we'll see how long it takes to get some in!

FYI: They have the small bottles of tabasco for 1.39 through today. (I checked the tag date). They added another e-coupon on shortcuts and there is a .50/1 any IP that will double giving a little overage.

Unless they do some SERIOUS stocking tonight, there won't be anything at my store. Even things not on sale through today was seriously low stock. Kinda weird, usually there is pretty good stock on everything, not just the sale items. Makes me panic just a little.

I did check out in the express lane and the lady in front of me had a cart fulllll, much more than 12 items. So, while I was waiting patiently I watched the next aisle over and was being nosey. There was an older lady check out and her total was $317!! Wow!! I watched and the cashier swiped like 2 coupons for her. Every little bit helps, but danggggg!! I got all jittery for the lady, lol!!

Oh, I bought the nut clusters last Wed at around 11am and there weren't many then either. They only had the almond left which was fine because that was the kind I wanted.

I got a Rain Check on the Nut Clusters at the Battlefield store on Sunday evening- the cashier wrote $2.50/ each- is that what yours says? I am now thinking I should have asked for the $1.50 price. I was hoping to go again tonight to see if they have any- but am too sick with whatever this stupid flu is that is going around.

fussypants
10-27-2009, 02:41:30 PM
They wrote my raincheck for 1.50 each. The lady said the registers won't still be programmed with the sale info. after today. So, she would just write it for the price it would be after the $4 was deducted. Does that make sense??

Drat! Wonder if when I go to redeem it I could bring the old ad with me (along with the raincheck) and they can honor that? Has anyone ever tried that before? I was so excited about using my $1.60 IPs- and $1.50 is sooo much better than $2.50!

hillgal3, I honestly don't know.....I'm new to this raincheck thing! I've only got a few EVER and they have always been worded exactly as they needed to be, per the price, size, etc.. I would for sure think it's a good idea to keep the ad! I would say run to the store now, but I know it's late!!!

Tracy_in_Missouri
10-27-2009, 08:38:01 PM
I think stapling the ad to the RC would suffice to head off any issues when you redeem it. I didn't go to Sunshine tonight like I had planned. I was just too tired when we left the theatre. We have rehersals every night but Wed this week and next week begins *hell week* which is actually almost 2 weeks. I've got some sickies here so its really gonna be challenging. I'll be at Dillons tomorrow with my ammo belt loaded though. I want to space out my trips this week instead of waiting until the last minute. Im going to case the joint and find what else may be included. Hopefully they will have a handy dandy B&W list hanging. Im excited about the tuna, chili and a few other things.
