HT Catalina question

:sad: Went to HT the other day and spent $87 oop after going through the self-check out (they only had one cashier at 5 pm). After coupons and paying, NO CATs printed.. just my reciept. When I asked the cashier, he said the cat machines don't always have to print. He said that is normal everywhere. Is this true? I've had this problem one other time at that store and want to know is this in normal before I go to the manager. Thanks for your feedback in advance.

I don't always get catalinas every trip. I do notice most times when I get a bunch of them it is the beginning of the month, or my first trip of the month.

Where you expecting an OYNO cat? Like you did the pillsbury or fleischman's yeast deal? If so it should have printed and you can call Catalina marketing and have it sent to you. If you were just wondering about regular Catalina coupons I have had trips where they do not print.

Also one of the reasons that your Catalina coupons may not print is if the cashier's register is out of Catalina tape for printing Catalina coupons. The cashier may not have changed their Catalina tape if the register runs out. Just mention this to the Customer Service Desk and let them give you the Catalina coupons from the cashier's register if you have time to wait.

Sometimes the cashier(s) are too busy or may not have their register supplies at their registers. Usually at my stores, the cashier will ask the bagger(s) or another cashier to obtain a Catalina register tape for their register. Just mention this to your cashier(s).
