Just saw on CNN - target to offer a nickle a bag for bring your own bag in, and CVS to offer $1 reward on your ECB card for every four trips you do where you bring your own bag in.

Not sure if you have to bring in their bags or any bags, but I'm sure it's a good deal any way you slice it!

HyVee also does this at $.05 per reusable bag. Doesn't matter what kind of bags you use (theirs or others) - I've used all sorts I've gotten for different promos. It adds up.

Menards has a mail in rebate every couple months where you can end up with up to 10 free bags per household or also I know Jollytime popcorn is doing a promo for free bags for every 3 UPCs you send in. I'm waiting on 6 bags right now from them :giggle2:

Yeah, I saw that CVS has "card tags" they can scan or something.

I'd definitely do that at CVS. We don't have a Target around here.

Albertsons in Florida gives you .15 per bag

Target just started the .05 a bag on the 15th here. Fred Meyers has "always" been .05 a bag. My Safeway is .03 a bag, but they give me credit for ALL the bags I brought in whether used or not. The others just for the ones I use. Not sure about Target as they just started it, but Fred's and Safeway are whatever bags, not necessarily their own.

I don't have the link to the story right now, but I read that CVS is charging .99 for a tag that you are supposed to tie to your bag that they scan for the credit.

CVS is you buy their green bag, it comes with a tag, which you can then attach to that bag or any bag and it is $1/4 uses...I think you get $1/1 the first time to pay for the bag but I can't remember - check the forum :)

I live just south of Atlanta.

I live in the Detroit, MI area and the Target by my house is giving .05 bag credit. Not sure if there is a limit.
