No Triples or Super Doubles 10/21/09 to 10/27/09

A Customer Service clerk from a local HT showed me the circular for the week of 10/21/09 to 10/27/09 yesterday. Unfortunately, there are NO TRIPLES OR SUPER DOUBLE COUPONS FOR THIS WEEK. :shrug7::sad::hectic1:Perhaps the week of 10/28/09 to 11/03/09 there will be TRIPLES OR SUPER DOUBLE COUPONS the Customer Service clerk told me.

The reason she said she thought the week of 10/28/09 throught 11/03/09 is because their stores are having inventory on 11/05/09.

I forgot to mention that when the clerk showed me the ad briefly what I was able to glance at quickly. BOGOs for Deer Park water, Sargento shredded cheese, and Coke products. That is all I could see.

I know you all are disappointed but I will be 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow and hated the thought of missing out on good coupon deals or having to send DH or my MIL to do it for me. LOL!

I checked with my Harris Teeter today in Newport News, VA and was told that they are running triple coupons starting 10/23 but do not know what the contents of the ad is. Supposedly she didn't have a copy of the ad?:BigHand:

Thanks, foodie! Repped ya! Oh I hope we have super doubles starting the 28th! I think the last triples ended Sept 30th, and I really have not bought all that much extra stuff. There is actually space on my shelves! :giggle2: So I am ready for a super coupon week!

Actually the last triples ended on September 22nd because I had just finished shopping the day before my daughter was born on the 23rd! I was so relieved that I hadn't missed the triples week!!! LOL!!!! Why are they doing triples in just select cities like Morehead and Newport News? I need a coupon fix bad!!!!

I hope so too. I have 4 bags of coupons that I am organizing in anticipation of the Triples/Super Doubles sale.

I spoke to manager of HT in Nothern Virginia and he said they wont be having Super Doubles for a few weeks (at least). I think he said he's seen the ads for the next of weeks - so no super doubles. I got the impression no triples either.

I haven't been doing this very long....I guess since the spring of this year but it seems like HT has doubles or triples at least once a month??? Does anyone else think they have stopped?

I've been shopping HT triples for almost three years. They used to triple only every 3 to 4 months. Triples also used to be only weekend events thursday-friday-saturday. I think the past six months there have been more coupon events than ever before, so if anything they may be going back to their old schedule (which would mean one coupon event toward the end of the year between thanksgiving and Christmas and/or one event in early January). I HOPE they keep doing monthly events however. When they were having them every month, it was the first time I didn't find completely wiped shelves on everything.
