When I ordered my food from Angel Food I didn't order the veggie and fruit box but just the standard box that came with fruits and veggies. mine had potatoes, onions, frozen green beans and frozen sweet potatoes. With a can of pears. I would have to say that I was really impressed with the produce. It was dole potatoes they were really fresh along with the onions. I also got eggs, borden shelf stable milk and some meat and a dessert. The dessert was Edwards cherry pie singles. I just went last month too and the people were so nice.

On another forum, I know a lot of people regularly buy the fruit and veggie box and think it's a good deal.
I don't mean to thread-hike, but is $21 for their November special of 10lb. boneless skinless chicken breast a good deal??

I'd say it's probably lower than regular prices at the grocery stores, but you can probably do better if there's a sale (of course, depending on the sale cycle where you live). The Angel Food price is $2.10/lb. I see them on sale for $1.99/lb. on a semi-regular basis (and occasionally even lower), so personally, I would pass.

I think it is expensive. Yesterday I bought it for 1.25 a lb so I stocked up as much as I could.

I would say the meat isn't a good deal either and I will continue to pass. But the produce is . That is if you are willing to take some items you wont use. For example they had honey dew melon in the last one and I wont eat it. So i will probably pass just because i like to be able to choice every item i get. Now if they have everything I want i might consider it agian.
