Why is the Blooms in the Charlotte area not having triples anymore? They are doing them in SC like crazy, but only doing super doubles in Charlotte.
Has anyone besides me gotten on the www.shopbloom.com (http://www.shopbloom.com) website and complained about this? I really miss their triples, and could really use some of my good under $1 q's on their triple coupon days.
If you live in the Charlotte and surrounding area's, can you please log onto Blooms website and complain about the no triples? I think if they get enough response from a lot of people then they might reconsider and start doing triples again. TIA!

Absolutely! I just started to do more shopping at Harris Teeter's Tripples. Bloom's are better but if they're not doing them...

I have sent emails to them. I live in Virginia and we have not had triples since April and we just got a super double 2 weeks ago. I don't shop there anymore. I am doing the same going to Harris Teeter

maybe their reason in this area, is like what Food Lion told me, when I asked why they do not double. Food Lion said "we do not need to double".
Maybe Bloom, thinks their NOT SO LOW prices are good enough to compete.

When I called the Bloom 800 number to ask about triples (back in August), I was told that Bloom was really benefiting from triple coupons, so they would definitely be continuing to do it. I guess I should have stressed that I'd like triple coupons in MY area (MD). Because while I'm really happy that SC couponers are getting triples, those of us in other states haven't seen Bloom triples since April or so.
Oh, and I've written to them multiple times about triple coupons. I have even mentioned that a HT just opened down the street from me (closer than Bloom) and that I'm more inclined to shop at HT because of their coupon policy. I will continue to write to them once in a while, though.

do not forget that York County S.C., location of one of the Bloom's frequented by Charlotte shoppers, is NOT part of South Carolina in the coupon world.
The areas that have been tripling is Upstate S.C. and that is some counties to the west and southwest of York County and some of those counties border on Ga. for heavens sake, to be called "UpState SC".
For us, here in York County we need THE CHARLOTTE AREA to triple. We have always been a part of that and never a part of triples and doubles in the Myrtle Beach area or Upstate SC who ever named it that. York County is a part of Charlotte in the coupon world. (Thank Goodness)

When Bi-Lo tripled it was a regional thing. Bloom could be the same way. It seems like people in west-southwest S.C. are getting a lot of triples. We in York County, S.C. are in the same boat as Charlotte. You may get triples there in Maryland and/or Va. and we might get it a different week. It may be a regional thing, and triples or super doubles might not be "system wide" the same week. We had Super Doubles maybe 2 weeks ago, did you have them in Maryland recently?

I wrote them this message and used an approach of me willing to travel to their store for savings and requesting a yes/no/maybe on triples, at least alternating with super doubles. I'll see what reply I get.
Hi,
Can you tell me if Bloom will be rotating super doubles and triple coupons like Harris Teeter? Your Bloom store is a good distance from me but I am willing to travel the distance for the extra savings over other stores. Thank you.

Mrs. Vaughn sent me a reply too. Pretty general and no hints on if, or when. Just watch the ads which may be the best thing.
Dear :
Thank you for your recent email. We sincerely appreciate you contacting us.
We appreciate your interest in our promotions. The triple and double coupon dates are not set in advance and therefore do not run like Harris Teeter. Please watch your sales flyer each week for upcoming specials and promotions.
Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. If I may be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I received the exact same emails as you gals did. I'm hoping that will all the emails, etc. that we can get them to do more triples soon.
I also heard that the Bloom does very well when they have triples, that's why there were doing it once a month. I think since they found out that HT started the 'super doubles' they were going to try that out for a few months to see how they did compared to other stores offering this sale. I will tell you I didnt travel to my nearest Bloom (which is about 15 miles away) for super doubles. There weren't any really 'Good' deals for me to travel that far for.
Thank you everyone who has emailed their corporate office to let them know we want (need!) triple coupon days again SOON.

Someone should ask corporate why the Upstate S.C. area (counties around Anderson and Greenville) has been having triples every week if you see other threads, you see they seem to be having triples multiple times in a row.
It must have something to do with marketing.
Southern N.C. has so many different chains 6 (if you count Compare Foods) you'd think Bloom would want to draw customers from other stores. I'd like to know how many dollars worth of triple or super double coupons they take in versus a normal week. It seems the regular Bloom shoppers who get the paper delivered on Sunday, that group of coupon users is not going to dramatically increase in size. Very slowly would they learn of sites like HCW, have the space to stockpile, etc. I'd bet most of the customers who use more than 4-5 like coupons during triples or super doubles is most of the same group that used it the last time. I've got an Aunt who is an avid coupon user but she only gets one insert a week. Her shopping habits do not change just because Bloom has triples.
And I find two groups of people that do not use coupons. Unfortunately, I see alot of shoppers who "need" to use coupons, and then some people who would be embarrassed to be seen using one. I've got another Aunt who is very well off. I told her about my coupon use and she scoffs at the idea, since she basically cares less about what something cost.
