using coupons with bogo free offers?

I have a coupon i want to use that is a 3/3 and one of the qualifiers is on sale bogo free this week: will hyvee allow this?

I know that sometimes stores allow it and sometimes not, but hyvee doesn't normally have bogo free offers, and i was planning on doing this deal based on the faribult ad which has the orville at 1.18, but our kc ads have it as bogo free. I am wondering if i will need to get an extra box of popcorn for each coupon or not?

My HyVee just started to enforce no Qs allowed on the free of the BOGO. I tried using the 1.50/2 on the OM bacon they had a couple of weeks ago on the BOGO and they wouldn't allow it. Said I need to buy 4 pks for every 1Q! From what I have read it's a YMMV on how it is enforced. You can always try it and see if it goes through. I have an easier time on weekends when the kids are working. If I go during the weekday, the coupon police are out!

yeah i was able to do this deal saturday, although i only got 4 2-liters and 2 boxes of popcorn, i wanted to try it out and the coupons didn't go through, the 3/3 never seems too, especially if it is for different brands, but the cashier entered it manually. So i got 4 2-liters of coke and 2 boxes of popcorn for 1.85 total! I used the tearpad from hyvee, buy 1 12 pack of fanta or coke products or 2 2 liters and 1 box of orville popcorn get 3$ off x 11/14/09. I got it off a tearpad the week before on some 12 pack display(got 11) when i went back to do this deal they were all gone, this is a pretty good coupon, i may try this deal out again tomorrow before the sale ends.
