my store no longer has them, but they were anywhere from 69-85c

a "free up to" coupon value is either
1. the actual shelf/scanned price or
2. if the shelf/scanned price exceeds the "up to" dollar amount on the coupon, you receive the "up to" dollar amount

examples
product x is $1.59
coupon x is free up to 99c
you receive 99c

product y is 99c
coupon y is free up to 1.59
you receive 99c

MINE no longer has these either :sad: wonder why? wonder if they are holding them till the coupons are all expired like mine did on the Mr clean magic eraser ..the single one in the trial area... .85 -1/1= overage a couple of months ago...i traded for a bunch more coupons and then poof all gone... and none to be found until the coupons expired the voilà they were back! :shrug7:

oh I now feel better that I know it wasn't just my store that stopped carrying the single rolls. I had a bunch of $1/2 (along with some Free or up to $1) that expired in mid-Oct, but I had to let $1/2 expire... (paper napkins & paper towels are $1.49-ish, so using bunch of $1/2 wasn't worth for me...)

As other PP posted, I remember them being $0.69. Also, if I remember correctly, "free or up to $1 off" coupon took off the actual price automatically at self-checkout ($0.69 for tp roll, $0.75 for tissue paper), so there was no overage. And there was a box where cashier can write the price, I think.

No TP but I can still get the Marcal tissues for FREE! They're .75 at my commissary in CO Springs, CO. I also plan on using the $2 off on the 4 pk of $2.50 TP but shelf was empty last time I checked...

"up to $x.xx" coupons do not allow for overage. if the cashier enters is correctly, you can either get the actual shelf price or the full "up to" value, whichever is less.

MOD REMINDER TO ALL: if you receive overage on an "up to" coupon, please do not discuss it here.

i've noticed disappearing stock items also for quite some time now. the single marcal, the single kraft string cheese, single phily cheese bites, trial size tide. all of those have never been restocked.

or, another shopper may have bought them all before your shopping trips? f the item is still in the DECA system you can special order and specify a "need by" date (of course you'd use a date before the coupon exp date!)

This happens at my commi too! The free or overage stuff disapears when management figures out there's a coupon for it...at least that is what I suspect from past experience. :hectic1: So much for encouraging additional savings by using coupons as stated in the DeCA directive!

Did anyone ever get a SO on this item? The $2/1 ANY TP coupons from 1/31 will give overage on this if it can be SO.

AFAIK, the single roll MARCAL TP is no longer in the DECA system. perhaps an off post store sells them.
