I was at Wags tonight and was enlightened (I'm sure thats what the cashier thought she was doing) to the fact that the iron fist has come down and that there will be no more RR deals, effective 11/1/09. I told her I'll believe it when I see it. I am half tempted to go back next Sunday same time, hoping to run into her with this ad in hand. I think I'll roll some RR's also while I'm there.

I was also warned to hurry up and use the ones I had. I told her I'm not worried - they'll get used before they expire, which is on 11/8!

At a certain time, usually Saturday evening, the manager of a Wags "activates" the ad for the following week. That means that the sales prices go into effect. The RRs don't start printing until after midnight, but the prices work. If the ad is activated early, you can get the sales price for the following week while receiving the RR for the current week if there is a RR deal that is going on sale the next week.

The wasabi/soy are very addictive. The BOGO is on the 6oz can so you basically get 12 oz for 3.50 (.29/oz). The big 16oz bags are on sale this week (thru Oct 31) for $4.99 (.31/oz)...so better to wait and buy them in the smaller package.

That's what I was thinking. I have this ominous feeling about Nov at Wags. Right now I'm sitting on $23 in RR and really hating it. My RRs expire the 4th and since all the Vaseline was gone today I can't roll them to hold out my expiration dates :sad: Stupid Oct was such a tease!

I asked a cashier who seems to be on top of things at my store about it and she said that the RR promotions are very successful and draw a lot of smart shoppers into their stores that wouldn't otherwise shop there. She said that their district manager has heard the rumors but doesn't think the RR program or the monthly ones are going anywhere soon. She wasn't necessarily "in the know" or anything but I've always found the info she gives to be pretty reliable.

In my area they are $35, but I believe the price varies. I always wait until they mark them down a month or so after the coupons go into effect. I can usually get one for $10-15 if I wait.

ETA: If you go to entertainment.com you can check the price of your local book. The prices vary between $35-45 for most cities.

I was just coming to ask this. I have the same blinkies. They show Whole and Diced and say "Any Variety" of Hunt's Tomatoes. Hmm....I would make 12 a GDA if they are vaild on the Sauce and your store didn't mind you pushing the 6 limit.

I may try and write them and see if it is valid because it isn't exactly clear.

Displays with monthly deals were being put out at the Wags that I shop at and the employee was covering the sign telling about the rr's. I saw them with my own eyes. This was yesterday. I have no idea what will happen after next month but I know that there are some monthly deals for November.

I asked my manager tonight about whether or not there will be monthly RR deals. He said that he didn't have a list, but had received some displays that had RR deals for the whole month listed on them. He said that they were for mostly medicines. It was almost closing time, so he wasn't able to go back and check about the details. He did seem very certain that the monthly deals will continue.

So, at least according to my manager, there will be some. I will try to stop off tomorrow and see if I can find out what they are.

Thanks to you both! My store doesn't get the RR signs for monthlies up until about 2 weeks in if they put them up at all (which I actually like since it keeps em in stock lol) Let's hope for some good FARR ones like Oct because I have tons of RR to roll and the next two weeks look just awful!

I tried out the Sense and Spray for BzzAgent. I really like it but they do run out after about 3 weeks. $.99 is a lot more fair for this than $5. They're "smart" and turn on when they sense movement. It's a little freaky but cool. Hehe!

Same thing here. I bought 2 rolls cloth tape @ 3.79 and the 25 ct gauze pads and no RR. The manager was confused because he also thought it should have printed. None of us could tell exactly what was shown in the ad, but we were almost sure we had the right items. The cashier suggested doing a transaction with a bigger roll, so they rang up the bigger roll (2-inch I think, but I don't know if it was called tape). I'm not sure if they just did that item 3 times or if they scanned the gauze pads as one of the items, but they rang up 3.99 and generated the $8 RR, so he just gave me that RR and said I could keep what I originally bought. It took some time to figure it all out but they were very nice about it.

I did the johnsons red cross one and I had 2 gauze and one tape (tape was pictured clearly in the ad) and only a $2 rr printed out. The cashier said she had no idea why but that I could return one of them if I wanted..as if that would make me happy (and this cashier is the one who deals with couponers wayyy worse than me -I only do 3 deals a week max- and she was kinda pissy). I did a bengay deal as well and no RR printed. The manager came over and he basically scanned 3 of the gauze pads, had the RR print then voided them to get me the RR for those. He let me keep the $2 rr that I got as well for it. He then did it for the bengay as well to get me my $8rr. It's weird because this is the manager that made me stop couponing last year because he was mean to me. I tried using the $1/2 IVC glade last night and it didn't work. I bought a sense and spray and a 4.5 soy candle with a 4.00 and 3.00 mf coupon. The RR printed for the candle but the IVC from the November book would not work. Anyone else having trouble?

I can't figure the game out. I click on a bad guy, then a good guy, then on box 3, and nothing happens. Do I have to pick a certain bad guy with the Hunt's lady?

Yes,I finally got the coupon, but not sure for the ink and my time a $1 coupon is worth it, since I have a few blinkies at 35 cents off 3 Hunts. I like the idea of the game, though.

I just tried the game and when it went to print the coupon it said Java is not enabled. I did what it said to do to enable Java, but it was already enabled and still nothing printed. Does anyone know how to get it to print?

I have the B1G1 Herbal Essences coupon but it indicates "buy one conditioner, shampoo or styler, get a styler free." Does anyone know what products are considered "stylers?"

I think just about anything like gel, mousse, hair putty, clay, etc. would be considered a styler. Hot oil treatments, leave in conditioners, hair masks, etc. would not be, I think those are considered hair treatments. But I am not the gal to ask about beauty products :hysterical:

I went to Walgreens today and bought 3 Riccola and 3 of the new Mixed Berry Riccola. They were priced @ $1.99 each. I gave the cashier the $1.29 Walgreens coupon. The coupon says "limit 3" but the register took off .70 cents for all 6. Then the cashier scanned my 3 coupons that are Buy 1 Riccola get 1 Riccola Mixed Berry w/ Vitamin C for free. She took off $1.99 off of each Mixed Berry cough drops so I got 6 Riccola cough drops for $2.42 total. I don't know if they would have let me use a manuf. cpn for the first 3 Riccola cough drops that I bought but I didn't want to chance it.

I forgot to mention that I kept my coupons whole till the cashier at Walgreens saw them. They are weird that they don't mention what product it's for on the actual coupon. You may be able to print more than two. I didn't try because I only needed two at Walgreens. :smile:

:wavehi: I tried playing that game but the site was acting weird or something I never got it to work right, and then I gave up! Maybe I should try it again. But, yesterday I used the $1/4 from all*you mag (Oct.) with no problems.

I got 2 J&J gauze pads, 1 J&J tape, 1 HE poo & 1 HE cond., 4 Hunt's tomato sauce, & 2 tattoo booklets(12c each) Paid $8.xx, saved $22.xx and got back $2RR and $8 RR :BigHand:

The $3RR is if you buy 2 of the 10ct-12ct capsules or the 6oz liquid. The $5RR is if you buy 2 of the 20ct capsules or the 10oz liquid. HTH.

For those of you who have lots of RR that may expire, I found out earlier in the week that my local Publix considers them a competitor's coupon!! I know you can't roll them into more RR!! You all may have already known this!!
