I signed up for this, and the coupons that they send you have a VERY limited market, only four cities. Coupon only good in Rite Aid locations in the Greensboro NC, Harrisburg PA, San Diego CA or Bualo NY areas
I don't live there.

When I go to Rite Aid Pharmacy - With Us, It's Personal (http://www.riteaid.com/) it's the last link in the little box of Myriteaid.com links after Online coupons.

Odd I don't have that. It ends just above that on mine.
OK I still don't see it but saw an address posted elsewhere.
riteaid.com/wellness
Once I used that address I was able to sign up! :thanks7:

Looks like Wellness Plus is only currently available in Buffalo, Greensboro, Harrisburg and San Diego. The website says it will be available in all Rite Aid stores soon. I am guessing they are testing it in these cities before making it available in all stores.

:wavehi: You are exactly correct!
I live in the Buffalo, NY region and was told by my store manager that our store is a "pilot" store and is "testing" the Wellness program...to hopefully assist in working out any glitches before the actual release date in JANUARY 2010....
So, us folks in the pilot store regions will have an extra couple of months to benefit from the % off and coupon savings AND accrue points....which will (for this first time only) roll-over into the 2010 year.
For those of you who are NOT in the pilot store regions :
Not to point any fingers directly at anyone (but if you've already posted a "brag" stating that you've already used (mis-redeemed) the Wellness coupon(s) in a non-pilot region, that's your own bizz!)...
Anyhooo...
For those of you who are NOT in the pilot regions...
The program will become available to you in January....
I *highly* recommend that you do NOT attempt to use any of the current Wellness coupons at your store locations...
:poke: REASONS :
1. It's fraud! It *cleeeeeearly* states on each & every Wellness coupon that they are only redeemable in "specific" regions :
Buffalo, NY region
Greensboro, NC region
Harrisburg, PA region
San Diego, CA region
2. They are merely "testing" the program now...and if un-permitted regions are accessing and using ONLINE coupons, it may result in a swift program change which may put limits and/or restrictions on the internet coupons being distributed....BEFORE the actual release date in January.
Don't jinx yourself....OR the rest of us!
I prefer to be able to continue to SAVE in the LONG-term....
 It brings back uggly memories of how CVS store coupons have changed over the past few years.....as well as their sales and ECB offer limitations...
All directly a result from misredemption of store coupons and excessive greed.
I'm sure RiteAid has paid attention (obviously....cuz they NOW have a "store card", just like CVS!) and they will tweak the program offers and benefits related to their Wellness program in response to consumer use AND consumer fraud...(as well as other contributing factors)..
Please be patient and abide by the terms of the coupons/program.
Much appreciated!
Huggzz ~

Thanks Sherry.
Mod Edit: Since the coupons clearly say redeemable ONLY in specific pilot program areas, discussion of using these elsewhere is considered fraudulent coupon usage. Such discussion will result in infractions.

Wow. I thought this was a every state deal. I just went to Rite Aid the other day and got a card. I haven't gotten a $5/$25 but maybe when I go online I will.

Ok, just quick question here. I have not been to rite aid in about 3 months. I just saw the deal about the "wellness" program in test areas. I am in the test areat and signed up for the program/card. Now is this the same as the store card, where you go into the store and sign up for a card. I was reading sherry's post. Any information is apprecieated.

My RA's do not know anything about the wellness program when asked. Needless to say there are not any sign up papers. The coupons are specific they are to be used in the pilot areas only. It clearly states that on the coupons so this is not even one of those gray area issues.

I won't question using the coupons in the wrong area, I go by the rules-but I have the 3 page tri-fold enrollment form in front of me. I picked it up today and filled it out tonight.

Did you ask your RA why they had the enrollment forms but the program wasn't available there yet? Maybe they are the next area to get the program :shrug7:

I sent an e-mail to RA also asking why I was sent an invitation to sign up and register for the program when I do not live in one of the areas. I was even able to print a $5 off $25 coupon for signing up. Luckily I noticed the restrictions before I used it. I got a rather snotty response from RA customer service that the program page clearly states that it is only available in certain areas. Um, yeah...fine, but why did I get an e-mail invite encouraging me to sign up?? Sounds like another case of RA not knowing what's going on.

:giggle2: It is sad when it is a RARE occasion when they actually know what they are doing. Today DH was told he couldn't use an RA coupon with a MQ. this came from the STORE manager. DH didn't even say a word....he just walked out of the store. They have been really "out of it" for awhile now. :rolleyes24: Is it bad of me if I secretly wish that CVS would just hurry up and buy them out. :shrug7::giggle2:

Well, you know that's coupon fraud, right?? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
I've heard other people say their RAs don't take MQ with RA coupons. The more I read about other people's RAs, the happier I am with mine because they are coupon friendly and they are nice to me. I'm sure the adorable twins don't help that any. :giggle2:

It's valid up tp 100 miles from the test cities. If your in Rochester, NY, you fall under Buffalo.

Anyone who's enrolled check their points yet? I got my card the first weekend the store had them, yet when I check the on-line account, it says I earned 0 points so far this year (but have bought at least $100 worth of stuff there since I enrolled).
I figured I'd call the 800 # to see what's up, but wondered if anyone else had the same issue with their account.

Right now the program is only regional and most of us don't have access to it.
