What's up with the sales

I've read a few of you post about how bad the sales are...man on man this week takes the cake. I'm shopping tomorrow and am using little to no coupons! Mostly just buying meat veggies and some dairy.

It seems like there is always some freebie to get, I'm always picking up Bounty towels, Maruchan Yakisoba, or Barilla pasta, or looking for markdowns!

I don't know, but I wish the sales would get better. I went shopping last night and only used 5 Qs. Mostly just bought meat and fresh veggies.
Which is really ok since my freezer is so packed now I don't think much more can fit. We'll just be using the stockpile until the sales get better.

I have to agree....there hasnt been very many good sales or deals at Krogers lately. I have been couponing about a little over a year and I have to say that these past few months have been really bad! I havent seen too much where as a year ago, there were so many good deals everywhere!!

So to all you peeps who have been doing this awhile, whats your thought/ comments on this good sale "drought"?

so many people couponing and cheating too in my store they come and cheat with so many things specially at cvs thatis why there is not many good deals anymore

I dont think this is the reason at all.
I thinks the economy is the main reason the deals are not as good as they used to be. Everyone is hurting including the product companies.
