I am new to jumping into the Rite Aid deals and I have a question in order to plan out my trip.

They have advertised Mitchum deoderant 2/$7. I was planning to buy one for $3.50-$2.00Rebate= $1.50 for Mitchum (good price for me). My question is if I buy one will I get the sale price or do I have to buy two?

Its a better deal to get the reg diapers, and not the pure and natural. Yes, there is a 3.00 P and N coupon, but there is a 2.00 reg huggies IP. Plus the reg huggies work for the caregivers market place rebate of .75 cents, and there are more diapers per pack in the reg rather then the P and N... and I dont know if the P and N count towards the buy 5 get a free pack riteaid rebate.

Yes, and they also are included in the Huggies buy 5, get 1 free SCR. The only thing they don't count towards is Caregiver's Marketplace rebates. They will be added in 2010 though, I have heard.

If you haven't already done the rebates this would be a chance to get extra freebies. But I would add the caveat that many people have had trouble getting their Organix rebate check. I bought the Organix during GOS and submitted the rebate but obviously it's too soon for me to have received it anyway.

At my store if it's a week-only rebate they write me a raincheck for the price the item would be after rebate. If it's free, they write me a r/c for free and all I pay is tax.

I've never actually done this, but I've heard you can get the sale price and the rebate with a rain check. When you redeem your raincheck, there will be a note on the receipt that a rain check was used. You then have to actually fax a copy of your receipt to Rite Aid corporate CS, so they can see that a rain check was used. They can then credit the rebate to your account. IMO, it's not worth all that; I probably wouldn't try to get a rebate with a raincheck unless it was something I was really, really desperate for.

So you should still be able to get your rebate as long as you haven't already requested your check for last month. If you have already requested the check, you're probably out of luck since they'll only cut one check per account per month. HTH~

I have done rebates with Rite Aide for a long time. My experience with them has not been good. Everytime I have done a raincheck and it involves the SCR, Rite Aide has not given it me. I even emailed them and faxed a copy of the receipt showing on there it was a rebate and they never responded to anything. This is Rite Aide Corporate. My advice is don't count on the SCR if you do this... sorry to be the bearer of bad news.:sad:

Yes, it is confusing.

RA lists ALL the ad coupons as Manufacturer coupons.
However if the coupon bar code starts with RC4 That is a RA coupon
If the coupon bar code starts with a 5 then it is actually a true manufacturer coupon.
95% of the coupons in the ads are actually RA coupons. Once in awhile they slip in a few MQ's

If it is a RA coupon you can use a MQ with it.
Obviously if it is actually a MQ you can't you another MQ on that product.

Thank you for the explanation! It seems a little disceptive that they will tag products (Trident) as BOGO in the checkout line, but you need to use a Rite Aid coupon? I've looked at the ad, and yes it starts with a 5, and then looked at a $5/$20 video reward coupon I earned and sure enough it starts with a RA4. So your explanation is spot on, but I still think it is wrong to tag the products in the checkout line (or anywhere else) without making it clear that a store ad coupon is necessary. Maybe I just didn't see it? How many people purchase the item thinking they're getting a BOGO and then find out they were cheated and needed a coupon? It just doesn't seem right.

Just so you know, I don't get the Rite Aid insert until Wednesday unless I go to the store personally before then, so when I saw the BOGO Trident sale while I was standing in line, I thought I found a good deal! I asked for the insert as I was walking out the door and didn't see the insert coupon for the Trident until I saw your post.

It is confusing. At least RA tells you. At Walgreens, if you don't have the ad coupon they don't give you the sale price, nor is it advertised at my store that there is an ad coupon. Plus, at my Walgreens stores the cashiers seldom mention it to people so I'll bet a lot of people pay full price (or at least more than they have to) for items that should rightfully be on sale.

Yes the Q worked on the big bags of nestle. It wasn't in the halloween isle but the candy isle at my store. Took us (DH) 15mins to figure this out. I left in charge of the candy and after 15mins I walked to the candy isle. :hysterical:

Yes! If your store is out of stock of any FARs...get a raincheck!! The Single Check rebate program WILL definitely honor it. I have been doing it for 5 years. I wrote a tutorial on the steps. It is extremely easy. Check it out.

My only caveat is that you absolutely need to keep on top of them. Sometimes it is a pain. For example, I have been faxing them my latest raincheck adventure every day for a week, and their fax machine is always "turned off" (that is the error message I am getting). I keep on top of them though, so it is worth it to me. I have gotten thousands of dollars of free stuff over the years doing this. It is up to you..but I love it!

Does anyone know if there is an SCR for Tampax Pearl this week? I went today to get the Kotex and regular Tampax, and they also had tags up on the Pearl (I think they said it was a $3 SCR?). I threw one in my basket and then I noticed that the tag said 11/26-11/28 or something like that. I didn't ask anyone about it because I was in a rush, so I just put them back. I figured they put the tag up too early. But now that I think about it, would they really have the sale tag a whole month early? Maybe the date was just a misprint? I'm confusing myself, lol.

I threw one in my basket and then I noticed that the tag said 11/26-11/28 or something like that. I didn't ask anyone about it because I was in a rush, so I just put them back. I figured they put the tag up too early. But now that I think about it, would they really have the sale tag a whole month early? Maybe the date was just a misprint? I'm confusing myself, lol.
There is a monthly SCR for Tampax ($2.00, but excludes Pearl). There is a $3 Pearl rebate from 11/26-11/28, so my guess is that they put the sign up in error. Perhaps they thought it said 10/26-10/28.

Has anyone used the coupon for the free monitor and qualified for the tote? I'm just curious because I don't normally do the "free" monitor deals because of the high sales tax. However, I can give the stuff in the tote to my great aunt who is diabetic.

I am surprised there is no tab to keep track of purchases that qualify towards the diabetic tote, or did I just miss it? I purchased several items that are pictured in the SCR book as qualifying.

If you got the $30.00 monitor coupon from this past RP, that will give you the overage to be able to use your 5/20 coupon since the monitor ends up being free

Hey I went yesterday and really cleaned up!

Here's what I got:
1 jumbo pack Huggies
1 Goody hair brush
1 Kotex pads
1 bottle of Alcohol ( I needed for crafts)
1 64 oz. bottle of RA Hand Soap
1 32 oz. bottle of RA foaming soap

Total before coupons: $25 & change

Total after coupons and $10 SCR check from last month: $2.44!!

I used:
$5/$25 RA
$3 Huggies manu. & $2 Huggies video values
$1 Kotex
$2 Goody brush from ad
And the RA soap was B1G1

And... I'll be getting $5 back in SCR~
