Scared the heck out of me! I've got to keep my sound on my computer at work, so I came in here this afternoon and heard "WELCOME........." very loudly!

Please see the FAQ's (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/frequently-asked-questions/90457-frequently-asked-questions.html) about how to report to us any obnoxious or inappropriate ads that you happen to see.
This one has been reported to me and I am working on getting them blocked. The process can take a few hours.

Oh good...I was on late and couldn't get it too shut up LOL...I was afraid it would wake up the whole house.

I really despise those talking banners - my baby's cribis in our office and I have to make sure the volume is off or it wakes her up. Its making me seriously consider paying to be ad-free on this site.

Hey guys just wanted to give a quick update on the talking ads.
We are running a new publisher and something is wrong with their filters for ads. We have it set to disallow ads that include sound and extreme animation. We have put in a email to the adnetwork and if we don't hear a response soon we will give them a call and see what they can do to fix their program so that these types of ads do not appear on the site.
We have found the offending ads and have removed them manually, sometimes this process can take up to 4 hours. I want to assure you that we do NOT allow these ads, or pick them. They are just as annoying to us as they are to you.
Please feel free to report to me via private message or through the contact us link if you ever see an obnoxious or inappropriate ad on HCW and we will deal with is ASAP.
