Hi,

I was shopping today and saw where the Snuggle fabric softener was on sale with VIC card till 10/27/09 on their shelf tags. The sale price is $2.99--so perhaps overage?

Use the $3/off coupon for the sale. Also, the fabric softener for the sheet count was 80 count not 70 count like Family Dollar stores. All scents--free and clear, etc. Not sure of the fabric softener ounce amount for liquids.

I purchased 20 boxes--:hectic1::BigHand::hysterical:

Have fun--

Whereabouts are you located?

N VA area. It shows the special on the Express Lane site of HT.
It should be for all stores.

Also, the shelf tags were for ALL liquid and sheet counts. Not sure of the Exhilarations Snuggle--just check stores. The original price is $4.49.

I'm in NoVa and I see only the Blue sparkle variety on sale for $2.99 on EL. I was hoping the Free and Clear would also be on sale. I will check the store, perhaps it will ring up on sale.

Hi,:wavehi:

I also stopped at the Reston, VA HT store today and bought 10 more Snuggle fabric softeners--the 80 count sheets. The Reston store had the FREE AND CLEAR FOR $2.99/WITH VIC CARD. JUST ASK YOUR STORES TO HONOR THE PRICES FOR THE FREE AND CLEAR AND OTHER FRAGRANCES. MINE DID.

Also, ask the stores to match the other shelf tag prices for other fragrances.

Good luck--

I went to HT tonight and both the 'Blue Sparkle' and 'Free & Clear' Snuggle 80 ct. sheets were tagged (and rang up!) on sale for $2.99 even though EL showed only the Blue sparkle variety as on sale. I got one since I only had one $3 coupon. It didn't beep....went thru for the whole $3 even though the item was only $2.99.

Hi,:wavehi:

Okay "y'all" here is the "low down" on the Snuggle fabric softener sheets and liquid--

I went to my Reston, VA N VA store and noticed that the Snuggle Free and Clear was out-of-stock. Sale is still good for $2.99/with VIC Card till 10/27/09. The bar code sku # is 00007261345458 for the Free and Clear Snuggle fabric sheets. This is the long # at the top of the shelf tag.

Also, the 6 digit number 298-968 is also listed on the shelf tag. This 6 digit number is the number(s) that the managers orders by. It is their warehouse number for ordering their stock items. Just some info.:giggle2:

So I asked the store manager/co-manager to order the specific Snuggle product that I wanted. He did and it will be in on Saturday. That way I will get 6 for FREE (6 is the amount that comes in a case box from their warehouse). Don't forget to use your $3 coupons!

Their trucks will come in on Friday and be stocked Saturday for the weekend. Special order is the way to go--don't mention your "coupon deals"--:whistle67::hysterical::giggle2:.

Also, the liquid Snuggle fabric softener (32 loads) Xhilarations brand--ALL SCENTS--are on sale till 10/27/09 for $3.99/with VIC Card also. The scents are pomegranate, lavender, and orchard vanilla. The Xhilarations fabric liquid softener sale expires 12/29/09.

Make your store honor these shelf tag prices, etc. Also, mention that on the Express Lane portion of their web site that it is incorrect and to compare to the shelf tags. You cannot always by the Express Lane for prices, etc.

Our managers are great--don't deal with the clerks at the Service Desk--go to the top!. A CS clerk tried to tell me "no"--I said let me see your managers (store). I was polite and professional. He corrected her on the side and gave me my "deals".

So always ask for someone to order your "stuff" and write down who did the order, confirming the info, and other vital info. All stores should do this--not just Harris Teeter.

Have fun--

Ballantyne Commons in Charlotte of course would not honor the coupon (because they said it was over the price). They never do. I'll take it to another store and shouldn't have a problem. Thanks!

I used mine at Walmart and got the snuggle for less than .24.

Gotta ask though, what are you going to do with 18 boxes?

I dont have any boxes yet, but I do have 18 bottles plus 15 coupons still in hand, and another 12 on the way... will get some more bottles and some boxes too. this seems to be a rare event to see a high value coupon for fabric softener... In the year that I've been using coupons I havent seen a good deal on softener (so just didnt use it, LOL - it isnt a necessity to me, but very nice to have if it was free or cheap*under a buck*) I searched the database for expired softener qs and the highest I see really is $1/1. so I am getting as many bottles/boxes as I can now. it will not go bad. I expect to have enough to last myself and my mom about 2 years(at about 1 bottle or box per month for each of us)

Have purchased 9 of these in the past 2 days. No problems using the coupons at 2 different stores and the full $3 came off for each coupon. I love FREE!!!! Thanks, foodie, for the heads up on this---I repped you.

Thanks for all the reps!

I stopped at our new Wal-mart Supercenter in Sterling, VA (which is 225,000 square feet not 250,000 square feet like I thought) tonight and saw that the Free and Clear Snuggle dryer sheets (80 count) were $3.48--so that would make them $.48/per each box after the $3/off coupon--:giggle2::smile::hysterical:

You might try price-matching also HT's prices for Snuggle at Target/Super Targets and Wal-mart/Super Wal-mart stores. Just a thought!

More great savings!
