cvs --Huggies Diapers - 10/14/09

CVS on Grand in Arroyo Grande, CA had a dozen or so packages of Huggies diapers on the clearance shelf, various sizes (I know I saw sizes 1, 3 and 4). Didn't check all the prices, but the pkg of size 4, qty 52 diapers was marked $4.50.

I went to one CVS and she said oh you should have come yesterday, one lady came in and bought every clearance package we had, all sizes.

Every store I went to in North DFW area was cleared out. Even the ones that were behind other stores in clearing the diapers. The diaper clearance is the most rewarding and the most frustrating clearance I know of at CVS. They disappear within minutes as one person can clear out the whole store.

I have never been able to find, never mind purchase, any diapers on clearance at CVS. People must live in the stores near me as I rarely find any clearance items----even when I go right away after they are posted. :sad:

I found some in Marshall, TX...they had Huggies, Pampers, and Cvs brand. They were megapacks for 8.99.

Today i found huggies mega pack diapers 3,4 and 6 size each at 4.50. They also had playschool diapers and pampers but i didnot price scan them.

My CVS in Franklin, TN had the huggies and pamper on clearance @75 off! I don't have a baby....kind of wish I did just to get this bargain! Wait no not really :biggrin:

I found a shopping cart full of diapers, playskool, pampers and huggies and they were all marked 4.50. The huggies were the mega packs and the pampers had 46. I only saw this at one store though.

I was just coming to post about this and see that the clearance started last week.

Any way, yesterday I went to my local CVS to buy diapers (ran out no stockpile) well low and behold the clearance cart had 5 packs sizes 3 & 4. Not the sizes I need but a great gift for my SIL diaper and wipe sprinkle! Didn't want to be greedy so I only bought two. Got home and realized I should have bought the other two for my mother and sister to give as well. Well I looked around and what did I find 2/$3 off coupons making it $1.50 per pack YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if only I could have been so lucky to find the sizes I need!

Well, consider yourself very lucky. :wavehi: The diaper clearance has been going on for a while now and most stores are cleared out by now. This was not a normal clearance because they never went from the regular clearance tags (they were on since August) to 25% and 50% off. They went from the normal price to 75% off. And it happened in the beginning of October. I have seen stores that had the diapers for normal price in the evening and by mid afternoon the next day they were cleared out because they switched the price in the morning. Thus, you are very lucky to have found 5 packs of diapers!

I bought a 60 ct Mega pack yesterday for $6.99 I used a $2 huggies coupon and a $2 cvs crt. I also bought a huggies wipes $3.59 - $1.50 coupon, and $2 cvs crt.

I paid $3.08 total I combined with some other stuff and used ECB's but In thought that was a damn good deal. I don't even have a baby. My daughters 14. My friends girlfirend is prego and these will help them out.

ive been looking everywhere for these clearanced huggies/pamper diapers. 1 of the cvs had them all clearanced out and there was none left when i got there but yellow clearanced tags and empty shevles. it was sad, i got there too late. i have a 5 month daughter so im trying to stock up on any brand. i did find some newborn size playskool brand for 2.25 a pack, cvs brand size 1 & 2 for 2.25 a pack at another cvs location. my daughter is too big for them, but i brought them for my sil anyways. im still trying to find some cheap diapers, lol.

I went in to CVS with a friend to kill some time and saw a bunch of diapers on a rack. However, I scanned them and they came up full price. SO I asked the manager if they were about to clearance the diapers and he said they were excess diapers that just needed to be put up. Then he said Oh wait I have some in the back that I am going to mark off 75%. He brought up 8 big jumbo packs of huggies in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6. I was sooooooo excited. I also had some $2/1 coupons and a new prescription gift card as well as Ecbs. I also used the buy $20 and get $4 ecbs from the holiday book. So...the moral of the story is keep asking!

Are you sure they were jumbo packs? The only packs that were clearanced were Mega (both Huggies and Pampers)? Were they $4.50 each on clearance?

Sorry. They are the mega packs. They were ringing up at the regular price so the manager had the cashier sell them for 4.49

Anyone seen these diapers in Atlanta/Marietta area CVS? I have an unemployed single mom friend who desperately needs cheap diapers.
