Have they done this before? I'm just wondering if I wait til Sunday if most things will be gone, like the samples and coupons they are handing out?

I went to this today and thought that it was pretty good. The best (and only really outstanding) coupon that I found in a booth was for a free 6 pack of blue sky (all-natural) soda. No purchase required. So, on the way back I stopped at whole foods and got 2 6-packs free, paid for the $5 entry. =)
There were some full-sized samples such as Robert's single-servings of yogurt, eggnog and milk, Vitamin Water bottles, pistachios, Edy's little ice creams, laughing cow cheese, Activia yogurt, quaker granola bars... but most samples were portions in little cups or plates that you had to eat there - so go hungry! There were lots of holiday entertaining themed samples - cheese, meats, dips, desserts, even salad and sides, so you could certainly make a meal of your trip and leave full.
Most of the vendors did not have coupons in addition to the ones that they load on to your hen house card at the event.
I did find some, though, including: $1/2 Palermo Pizzas, 35c off Roberts half gallons, Aunt Annie's coupon book, Odwalla $1 off, Keebler & Kellogs "Share Holiday Traditions" book with recipes and a bunch of coupons, 50c/2 Red Gold Tomato, $1/1 Marzetti Carmel Apple Dip, $1/1 Oroweat bread, 75c/1 Earthbound Farms.
If you go, let me know what coupons you find! I'm wondering if I missed out on anything really good. It was quite crowded, so I'm not sure I got a look at every booth, and there were lots of recipe booklets that I didn't take which might have had coupons.

I was also there today and it was fun! I would go hungry and forget about any diet you may be on for the day! LOL!
