The back page of this week's Jewel ad (Oct 15-21) shows mix and match spend $25 get $10 back from many General Mills, Gold Medal flour, Betty Crocker, Chex Mix, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Totino, Progresso, Cascadian Farms and other items.
The mod may post the full list of items included (too much for me to list now), but I have a question. Pillsbury refrigerated items are included in this spend $25 yet $10 deal. Do you think it can be combined with the other Pillsbury catalina deal? The one where you buy 4 Pillsbury refridgerated baked goods, get $2 or buy 5 get $3 or buy 6 get $4. If they can be combined, it should be a money maker! Especially with coupons. For example, if I bought 6 Pillsbury refrigerated baked goods and other items from the page to equal $25, should I get both a $10 catalina and a $4 catalina?
It looks like a great deal! I'm excited about all the cereal. In the ad the GM cereals are 2/$4, without preferred card 2/$9.90. Even without coupons you should be able to buy 6 cereals for $12 and get $10 back.

You can only get this CAT by shopping at Jewel. I used a Wags CAT during my transaction because it is a manufacturer's coupon and Jewel accepts competitor manufacturer's coupons. It's an awesome way to to roll your CAT's! Use coupons at Wags on RR freebie deals and use those to buy your groceries. It keeps you from paying as much OOP. Hope that helps!

The manager at our Jewel in Michigan City IN told me they are now excepting meijer catalina coupons as well as the Walgreens RR. FYI. I'd ask at your local Jewel to see if all Jewels are doing this. It can't hurt to ask.

You need to use the sale price before Preferred Card. I listed what it said it was in the sale paper but it is always possible that it is different at your store. You should see it listed on the shelf tag. Make sure you don't use the regular price. You can always check yourself by going through self check out and swiping your Preferred Card after you reach your total. It should come out less than $25 after the Preferred Card but it has to be at least $25 before the Preferred Card. Hope that helps.

Ask at the Service Desk or ask a Manager. You can even ask the cashier. If they say no then move up the chain. Final word would be with the Manager.

Oh my, I think I have been loosing out on deals for a long time thinking it was the price with preferred card that counted.
So just so I am clear, if we wanted to do the cereal that is 2/9.90 without preferred card.
We could do the following:
6 boxes of cereal 2/$9 = $29.70
After Preferred Card 2/$5= $15
Minus 3 $1/2 coupons= $12
Get back a $10 OYNO Catalina?
I so hope this is right:hectic1:

6 boxes of cereal @ 2 for $9 = $27 everything else looks alright. Don't forget that there is a double dip that prints out a $4 OYNO cat that may give you a better deal the first time around. Then on the next batch do this deal with 3 $1 off 2 coupons and a $10 cat that will make your OOP $2 and you will get another $10 cat and still have a $4 from the first time or get $2 of another item and have $0 OOP. You can also combine the cereal with Pillsbury items that produce the Pillsbury cat too and are part of this deal (you need 6 to get the $4 cat, 5 for $3 and 4 for $2). Just wash rinse and repeat.

There is actually a triple dip going on. Betty Crocker fruit flavored snacks have a cat going: Buy 3 - get 1.50, buy 4- get $2.50 and buy 5 or more get $3.50 OYNO. Products included: fruit shapes, fruit by the foot, fruit gushers, and fruit roll-ups.
Buy 5 fruit snacks, 6 Pillsbury crescent or sweet rolls & get a $10 cat, a $3.50 cat & a $4 cat. I did this deal on Friday using the fruit shapes & crescent rolls--there were better coupons available for the shapes.

I go to the munster indiana store, who can I/shoudl I talk to about using the Wag RR there?
I'm with Southsider! I usually always start with the manager.
Just an FYI, though - I've never had trouble at the big Jewel by me (I went right to the manager in the beginning because I didn't feel like the hassle later on), but my little Jewel (closest to me) has always been hit or miss. Most recently I was told that they only take manufacturer's coupons that state $X/XX any product from a competitor. When I asked (nicely) why any manufacturer's coupon is different from another manufacturer's coupon, I was told that she would have to look it up and get back to me, and she'd take mine that day but she wouldn't take them any longer.
I went today and stopped by the Desk to ask what she'd found out. The manager told me that they don't take store coupons so I shouldn't try that (why did she throw that at me??), but that they do take all manufacturer's coupons. She was a little embarrassed telling me because she knew I had been right, but I go there all the time, so hopefully she'll be cool with me.
BUT, my point is that she looked this up in their Jewel coupon manual/guide/rules and came back to me with this answer. And I am SURE she scrutinized it for the answer because she wanted to be correct. So you shouldn't have any problem (being correct, at least!) at your Jewel if you nicely tell them that manufacturer's coupons are accepted at the Jewel's you know of.

I am from Crown Point and had a terrible experience with the Munster Jewel on Saturday. I was dealing with the customer service manager and she was very rude. They are not coupon friendly and told me that I couldn't do 2 orders back to back because the cat said "on your next order." I explained that "on your next order" means NEXT ORDER NOT NEXT VISIT. They said fine and let me do it but I wouldn't go back there. I usually go to Crown Point or Dyer and they are both very nice and well stocked. If Munster gives you a hard time I would just drive the 10 mins down the road to Dyer.

You can ask to speak to the Store Manager. If that does not work call Customer Service and ask to speak to the District Manager. Unless those higher up get complaints from customers about how they are treated they are not going to know that there are problems.
