I'm dying for a mega sale that includes Prego or Ragu, or Nature Valley bars or nut clusters, or Wanchai Ferry or Macaroni Grill Dinners.

I did the Ragu deal today at Walgreens, but I'd rather have the Ragu with all of the veggies in them. I like the chunky kind.

Did the Walgreens Ragu deal too! I like to toss in my own veggies - that way I can stretch the sauce out longer (and occasionally use it for pizza sauce or as a dip). I need more lean pockets for .50! LOL

I usually make sauce from crushed tomatoes (#10can sams for $2.xx) but bought Ragu last big dillons sale for .37 but this time I did Walgreens ( not done yet) and they wound up cheaper . We use them when we need a lunch or shortcut on a busy night and toss in steamed veggies =)

What is the best deal you have seen on he WF ?
Last time I looked at it during a sale event it just didnt seem worth the price ( which I forget).

So I guess no one knows if tomorrow the current sale will still be going on?

When they are on sale and they have the ecoupons that I can pair with a paper coupon was the best deal that I have seen. I can't remember what the price was. It's been a long time since they were on a mega sale. They are cheaper at Walmart. I am totally addicted to them! They are just as good as getting takeout Chinese. Since I can't leave any recipe well enough alone, I add zucchini, yellow squash, yellow onion, and bok choi to them. I pretty much add veggies to everything and it adds more servings to a boxed meal that only serves two or three people.

Flemishe - Luvmy3boys is the person who gets the Dillons ads early, but she hasn't been around too much lately. She must be very busy with her 3 boys.

The only items listed in the ad for the Mega Event are Healthy Choice, Marie Callendars, Breyers Ice Cream, Dove Ice Cream, and Van de Kamps Fish...but the ad says to look for the special tags for participating items...so maybe alot of them are unadvertised...

I think the last time with coupons and everything it was still around $4/box for Wanchai Ferry. I just recently stocked up at Walmart-they sell them for $3.50/box and I used the $1.10/1 coupons on each of them too making them about $2.40/1 box.

Hmmm... Well that sounds boring. These mega events aren't very exciting anymore. They should go back to being every few months and have more items for sale rather than every week with fewer items.

The Dillons ad is up this morning. I don't know how to post it all on here like Rachael does, but here's a link Dillons (http://dillons.inserts2online.com/customer_Frame.jsp?divID=615&drpStoreID=00036)
It looks like the mega sale is still on. Has anyone gotten any deals on it? Are thare a lot more things that are on the mega sale than what are listed? The only good thing I can see is the steamers.

I still had some 2.00 healthy choice Qs that I used, and also a Cole's garlic bread Q that I printed from their website a while back. Made the healthy choice free and the garlic bread 99 cents.

Well Poop! This week's ad is not very encouraging!!
There are several coupons for the Campbells's Chunky Soup. .60/3,.75/4 and if the ''healthy'' kind is on sale as well there was a .50/2 from Woman's Day Magazine. So, anywhere from .50 - .75 per can.
My store has tearpads for save $3 wyb (2)2-liters of coke and any 3ct. or larger of Orville Redenbacher(sp) popcorn. Popcorn has been $3 for awhile now. So, it would be 2.96 for 2-2 liters and a popcorn. I'm sure this is not a great deal and probably cheaper at Wal-Mart??? I don't know I never buy 2-liters.
Febreeze Noticeables for 5.99. Combine 4.00/1 insert coupon with the e-coupon for 3.00/1. Free plus overage!
****warning****check your total before paying if you get the Febreeze. They had some this past week for 6.99 and I tried on 2 different kinds of the Febreeze Noticeables starter kits and the e-coupon did not come off. I had them void it off before I paid. I do think my card has been messed up here lately. I've been having a hard time with any e-coupons working. Plus, I emailed p&g esaver customer service when this happened last week and still haven't heard back from them. Just watch to make sure it comes off your order!!

I blew all of my RRs last night at Walgreens at 1am buying 7Up, children's Motrin, Pedialyte freezer pops, and a temporal thermometer. I'm done rolling RRs for a while.

Uhhg Weathergirl-- Sounds like you have a little one under the *weather*. Boo!
I'm skipping out on Walgreens this week. I got way too embarresed last week. I feel the need to hide from the RUDE manager!
WeatherGirl
10-14-2009, 05:53:02 PM
Hahaha! Yes, he was under the weather! He's fine now, but it was so weird. He was fine when I went to Walmart last night and when I came home about an hour later, he was a completely different kid. That's how fast it hit. It's the first time he has been sick, so we weren't really prepared.

Ick. I hate that. Hopefully, he will be up and runnnning soon! We have 3 down with the *crap*-- But they are older. I am armed and dangerous with Lysol so the babies don't (hopefully) get the crud. :hectic1:

Tracy-- I am so green to the coupon thing by a few months. But not totally stupid--
It was a super rainy day and me and baby boy ran in to get the Dove deal. Four shampoo's and four conditioners-- I checked out and I got a $2 RR, instead of $10. I didn't notice it until I was going through my loot in the Jeep. Soooooo....in the RAIN, baby Henry and I come back in and show the receipt to the manager. He says..."Well, you only bought 4...sorry about your luck"... I was mad then. "Sorry about your luck?" Pfffft!
So, again, baby and I go back to the jeep and I grabbed my bag with 8 bottles...4 of each to show HIM! By then he is rolling his eyes at me. I was never ever rude, actually, I was nice-- Sure enough, I was only charged for four instead of eight. Dummy cash register girl! So, he re rings everything up and I owe him money. Which is fine, I don't want to *cheat* anyone-- but the rudeness was OVER the top. No smile, no, "Oh this happens, no problem"--just a blank faced manager. I then, trying to break the ice, asked him if they were going to get any more ALL detergent in soon. He said he JUST stocked the shelf.
So, I come BACK in a few minutes later after putting my Dove stuff back in the Jeep so I can buy some ALL. It was maybe one minute later and right as I walked in, (we have a small store) he said to *someone*, "I am so sick of this sh*t-- ...career moochers".... WOW! Really??
I did say long story short...haha...that was the short story LONG. :) I feel better! Thanks! So again, I am avoiding. Or maybe I shouldn't and just haunt his butt?! :rolleyes24:

Wow, Binkybooboo. You found someone who definitely does not like his job, sorry that happened to you. Thankfully, I found the Wags employees around here to be nice. They better be, there are about 1000 different Wags to choose from so if someone isn't nice, it's super easy to just go down the road to the next Wags.

I'm fine with a vocational error-- But don't take it out on ME! :) Or do....gives me something to talk about. Since I am a career "moocher" :whistle67: Gag, puke, barf....

What kind of sense does it make for someone to say that to you anyway?! Wags offered the deal, does he not want people to take him up on it and buy his products? He gets paid either way, either buy the customer or the manufacturer. It isn't anything out of his coffers and most people (who aren't total couponing freaks such as ourselves) end up buying much more than the deal, which is the entire reason they introduce such deals. He needs to take a remedial Walgreens class, and sit in detention.

What Wags do you shop at Binky ? Thats really behavior unbecoming of someone who works with the public and I think you owe it to yourself and others to persue it. After a few seconds of shock and disgust, I would have taken out a paper and written down his name and asked for the name of the regional manager and a number to contact him/her by. Not only would I persue it, Id make sure the guy KNEW what I was going to do and got to spend the rest of the day stewing in his own nasty juices. Think of it this way - if you owned a store and your employees were treating YOUR customers this way...... would you want to be made aware of it? Think about giving a cal to corporate and calmly explaining it. Id seriously follow it up with a letter. Its just so wrong. People who shop at the store are *customers* and without them, the store would not exist. Some people pay with cash they earned, some on credit, some with government funds/certificates, and other with coupons ( which = cash). It takes ALL of these customers to keep the store in business. Would he have made the same comment of someone who was using an EBT card ( which his taxes pay for) as he said of the customer who paid with her cash and MFR coupons and rewards ? Probably not, and it would certainly be unacceptable.

I had this problem with the store in Ozark. This one cashier up at the front. Hates couponers, she would complain about them to the other customers all the time. I had enough of it and emailed corporate and told asked them to tell her to refrain from her complaining about customers to other customers. I didnt get a response out of them, but about a month later she doesnt complain anymore, and she is as nice as can be to me.
I would Email coperate. link below.
Dont let this bother you. I dont think some cashiers and managers are educated about coupons. Look at her right in the eye too every time you go in there too. Let her know, you aint going no where. anywho....you can also go to another wags and shop. I go to Nixa mostly now. They are much better about couponers.

I rarely go to Nixa but I have noticed that they seem to be unsure about WAGS coupons. Most times they really double take, but Ive had to instruct at least 2 ppl that the wags coupons dont get taken from the customer. There is no way Im giving up my page of coupons from the Activity book I searched months for AND paid a buck for LOL. I tell them that I was told by Wags employee that its a great idea to hold onto it for the future since they arent required to take the coupon once its used. This was one day at a wags in springfield and so I taped it back into the page and put the whole thing into a page protector. Some cashiers find that odd, but it helps it not to be thrown out or misplaced.

Just got home from Dillon's! They have Folger's coffee on a 3-day sale!! It's the big size 30oz.?? It's 4.99. That is a great price. I know I have not found it cheaper in the last year I have been couponing and really watching prices! I had a .55/1 coupon that doubled so that made it even better!
I also tried to get a Febreeze Noticeables for the 3rd time, hoping it was the charm!! NOPE, no go! They do not want me to have one of these free air fresheners! The P&G e-saver e-coupon never comes off. I had them void it off before I paid, again! Are you guys able to get one? Is the e-coupon messing up for everyone or is it a conspiracy against me?
Also, found some of the $1 off fresh pork tearpads at the West Kearney store. They are almost impossible to see. I found them purely by accident. (my ds was stacking a display of summer sausage and I had to go fetch him and rescue the sausage!) There on a little ledge were the glorious tearpads, lol! I will do my best to explain where they are:
If you walk into the main entrance and go straight back to the meat department. You will run into a waist high freezer compartment containing: frozen burritos, frozen breakfast items and at the right end, you will find the Farmland roll and link sausage. Right around the corner from the Farmland sausage is an ''endcap freezer section'' usually containing meat that is on sale that week. Right along the top edge of that ''endcap'' there are quite a few tearpads laying there. I hope that is not totally confusing, haha!
Bananas are .33lb on 3-day sale.
Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Cookie Dough is 1.14 after .55/1 blinkie doubled and e-coupon.
The ''healthy'' kind of Chunky Soup is included in the sale. If you have the woman's day coupon for .50/2-doubled, it is .50 a can.
Tons of ''Fresh Selection'' salads on manager's special for .99. If you have been getting the cat for 1.00/1 it makes for free salad!
Happy Shopping:smile:
p.s. they are back to being fully stocked on the sugar and flour, for everyone that has rainchecks!

I went to Dillons this morning to get the Campbell's soup deal and bananas, and the Kroger brand barbecue sauce was on sale for $.91. There is a coupon in the Tailgating Kickoff booklet for $.25 making one bottle $.66! Of course, I didn't have my coupon with me...
