if it is skinless and boneless it's a deal, a steal.
They had the oatmeal b1g1 free last week.
Every variety has cranberries so if you do not like those, beware, and beware the looooow price, only 8 packs inside.

Thanks so much for posting. It does, indeed, look like a yucky week. I'll be using most of my $ at Food Lion this week, believe it or not. They are going to have sirloin roasts for 1.77/lb. I have this ground and freeze it into individual packs. It's a very lean cut of beef and hardly has any fat in it when you fry it up.

Seriously?! I would knock the doors of FL down for that but do not see that price listed in the ad preview. Please tell me more!

Here's the link to my region's ad:

Food Lion of Cleveland Circulars (http://foodlion.mywebgrocer.com/Circular.aspx?c=47247&n=1&s=60492388&g=ac168cb2-2074-4d71-8536-f10c1e0d523f&uc=7B35461)

At the top of the first page is the roast I am referring to. I get these ground and they are equivalent to ground sirloin. Huge money saver for me. HTH!

no... not really. only if you need it I guess. I forget the price I bought some at (dont use much split) but it was .79 or less. I believe I've seen it lower but can't promise. Save a lot had it for .88 but just went off sale a couple days ago(they still have that flyer up on their website that ended 10-10 :rolleyes24: )

It's on the first page of the ad Nancy. They call it "Whole Boneless Beef Sirloin Tip" and it's sold in a "chunk"....that doesn't sound appealing does it? The ad states that it is good for ground sirloin or kabobs. Just call the butcher out and ask him to grind it for you. They hate to see me coming because I'll buy 100.00 worth at a time. Thanks to another poster, I've stocked up on this for the past two sales and was really excited to see it cycle through again. This is a low-fat cut of meat and once it's ground, I found that when I use it in things like tacos I have to actually add a little olive oil to my pan. Ground round is nearly 3.00/lb here so I'm really happy to get ground sirloin for 1.77. HTH, Necie

I'm just wondering if this is truly a slow week or not. *sigh* What some people think of as a slow week may not be to others. Holding my breath until I see the actual ad and all the deals.

I am repping you for this! My daughter requires extremely low fat food products and purchasing ground sirlon or bison is sooo expensive. My price for the tip is 1.67lb so that is way cheap for ground sirlon. I will be standing at the butcher doors on friday for this!!!

Nabisco Cheese Nips 11.75-12 oz. Assorted Varieties
$1/2 Kraft Nabisco save up to $55 booklet

Ok, do these count towards the $20 Nabisco rebate??? I looked online for the full list of what's included @ www.kraftbacktoschool.com and did not see a list like the rebate booklet said would be there.
ETA: Does the coupon scan fine? I know its off ANY Nabisco cookies or crackers but if it beeps, the cashier may question it due to Cheese Nips not being pictured.

Looks like a slow week for me.
Which is okay since I done so much shopping in the last week. Was trying to finish up the monthly deals @ Bilo before they ran out and with triples @ bloom.

Just means we will be able to catch up with organizing cpns and be ready for good sales next wk.

thanks you for breaking it down for me.
Learning something new is neat even more so when it is saving money and helping feed our family.

I don't think that I will be buying $100 worth but I may get some. Thanks again .

I have used it on Mac N cheese crackers and ritz and it doesn't beep. Who cares if they question it, it clearly says ANY. I guess I am always ready for a fight.:giggle2:

LOL! I know what you mean. Only once did I not argue and that's because I was exhausted. Just went back the next weekend, refreshed and got the deal..... Do you happen
to know if the Cheese Nips count towards the rebate in the booklet? I will only buy 6 (have 3 booklets, so 3 coupons) if they do count towards the rebate. I cannot pull up a full list of qualifying items.

I read that rebate as being ANYYYYY Nabisco cookies or crackers. They couldn't possibly show everything they have on that. Also if you look through the booklet they have Kraft Handi Snacks pictured on a page that says ANY cookies or Crackers but they do not have a picture of them on the rebate page.

The items for the $20 Nabisco rebate? Yes. The rebate states to send in the form along with your reciepts - plural so not one transaction.

I have to give a huge thank you to Neciepie for the info on the sirloin roast at Food Lion! I have a FL, but it is a little further, so I had never been there before. I looked up the ad online, and they did have the roast on sale. I bought a huge roast for $18, had it cut into a couple of steaks and the rest as ground sirloin. I cooked some, and it had no fat at all! This is a great idea! A great money-saver! Thank you so much!
