I am thinking General Mills, betty crocker, nature valley.
I have been asked to help with ordering. I told them that I was not purchasing any cereal unless it was 50c or less a box. The store mgr said....oh, you will buy 100 boxes....trust me, you will buy 100 boxes.! So, here's hoping!

No way! We're out of soda, so I'll take what I can get. Plus, I'll get some caffeine-free for my son, which he gets when we have pizza. The peanuts make it a better deal, too!

does anyone know if you can freeze the pillsbury products?
I bought crescent rolls about 10 days ago & threw 'em in the freezer. I think the package tells you NOT to freeze them. 2 nights ago I defrosted one & they cooked up just fine- although they WERE harder to separate than normal, meaning when you pull 'em out of the tube & try to pull apart the triangles they are stickier & don't tear as easily. But the end result tasted just fine!

You know, I am not sure. The way I check, is I go to the frozen food section, & see if there are any similar products to the one I am wondering about. If I see it done, I do it at home, & so far no problems.

We will be getting three doubles this weekend! Here's what I posted on Sunday:
I went to customer service last Sunday to see if the $10/$50 coupons were still active and if they had one for me. They did not, but what she did pull out and give to me was a shiny flyer advertising a 3-day sale 10/18, 10/19, 10/20, which includes THREE DOUBLES (and half a dozen not very exciting sale items)! Yay, we can plan ahead!!
The back of the flyer advertises a one-day sale (10/18), and it includes:
2-liter Coke products = .77 (first 4)
Albertsons butter = 1.49 (first 2)
Albertsons flour (5#) or sugar (4#) = 1.59 (first 2)
Homelife paper towels (8) or double roll bath tissue (12) = $3.99 (first 2)

So it looks like Puget Sound isn't getting the doubles again?
fact51
10-13-2009, 10:29:23 PM
We will be getting three doubles this weekend! Here's what I posted on Sunday:
I went to customer service last Sunday to see if the $10/$50 coupons were still active and if they had one for me. They did not, but what she did pull out and give to me was a shiny flyer advertising a 3-day sale 10/18, 10/19, 10/20, which includes THREE DOUBLES (and half a dozen not very exciting sale items)! Yay, we can plan ahead!!
The back of the flyer advertises a one-day sale (10/18), and it includes:
2-liter Coke products = .77 (first 4)
Albertsons butter = 1.49 (first 2)
Albertsons flour (5#) or sugar (4#) = 1.59 (first 2)
Homelife paper towels (8) or double roll bath tissue (12) = $3.99 (first 2)
Oreos = $2.39 (first 4)
The fine print on the bottom of the flyer (front & back both) says: "10/18/09 - IMW - Back Cover - Southern Oregon, Grants Pass Courier, Eugene Register Guard, Klamath Falls Herald/News, Roseburg News-Review, Medford Mail Tribune, Portland, Portland Oregonian, Vancouver WA, Vancouver Columbian, Salem OR, Salem Statesman Journal, Coeur Dalene Hayden ID, Ellensburg - Walla Walla WA, Tri-Cities WA, Pasco Tri-City Herald, Yakima WA, Lewiston ID, Lewiston Morning Tribune, Spokane WA, Spokesman Review, Wenatchee WA, Eastern Oregon - D"

does anyone know if you can freeze the pillsbury products?
I've frozen the Pillsbury Grands before without any problems. I let them thaw in the 'fridge, then baked as normal. They may have looked or tasted slightly different after being frozen, but nothing icky.

does anyone know if you can freeze the pillsbury products?
I just put some in the freezer today. i took mine out of the tubes, and wrapped them up in wax paper, put them in freezer bags. Or, this is more time consuming, but you could unwrap them and unfold each individual triangle, and freeze them on wax paper on a tray for a bit. When frozen take them off the tray and put them in freezer bags.

There might be a $1 OYNO wyb 3 Prego.
There are 2 Cats going on the Pillsbury refrigerated - confusing, one is $2 OYNO wyb 3 or 4 and does multiples and goes the rest of the month. The Giant Eagle list says 4 but I thought the tags at Safeway said wyb 3. The picture on the Giant Eagle site has Cinnamon rolls, Grands and Simply cookies, so those should be included for sure.

I got the preview cat on the pillsbury a few weeks ago and amazingly was able to dig it out! Here's what it says:
Between 10/5-11/1
Buy 3 get $2 ONYO,Buy 4 get $2.50,Buy 5 or more get $3
Lists Refrigerated products: Crescents, cookies, sweet rolls, Grands, Grands cinnamon rolls, pie crusts, dinner rolls, loaves, breadsticks or pizza crust.
Now if only all my high value q's that I printed weeks ago on these products hadn't expired :(

I saw shelf tags last night of the Prego (although I think the tags were only on the Heart Smart ones...might work on all kinds nit sure) and it is $1.00 OYNO when you buy 3 (can buy in groups of 3 all in one transaction) and it ends 11/08/09
I also saw shelf tags for Ziploc Bags $2.00 OYNO WYB 3 and the Pillsbury Refrigerated products $2.00 OYNO WYB 3
All of these end 11/08/09

Heres the deal I did with the Betty Crocker products.
4 cans Green Giant Corn $3.00
1 Pillsbury Grands Bisquit $1.67
1 Pillsbury Cinn. Rolls $1.67
1 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls $1.67
2 Pillsbury Simply Cookies $5.00
6 Green Giant Steamers $12.00
Total = $25.01
Then I used (6) .50 printable coupons from the GG Steamers, (2) $1 coupons for the Pillsbury Simply (insert) and a $1 blinkie for the 3 Pillsbury Rolls.
My end total came to $19.01
Then I got the $10 OYNO for the Betty Crocker Deal and $3 OYNO from Pillsbury for purchasing 5 products.
So my end result was $6.01 which is an awesome deal for me. I would have spent $6 at WalMart on the steamers alone for the Great Value brand. So I'm pretty happy with this. Now I have to wait for the rest of the Green Giant coupons to come that I ordered.

1 pack of Cookie Mix
1 Warm Delights

PS Is anyone else having problems printing coupons in black and white from coupons.com? That site keeps over riding my settings and doing color prints with max quality. All the other sites keep my black/white draft choice but that one is giving me problems.

I mean my Total $15.96 plus tax after using the 13.00 cat and still have 13.50 in cat to use , don't you think I did just find and got 15 items and have more shooping to do ,,

You did just fine! Really! I haven't had time to actually to the math yet. Work gets in the way of my shopping. :hysterical: I was hoping it would work out that I'd get all three cats and then not have to use all three to do another tx. Where's my calculator! :shrug7:
It seems last year we were able to get free Grands Biscuits. How did we do it? I donated cases of them to the food bank last year. I gotta do the math!

Anyone know if the Pillsbury simple cookie dough is on sale too? I haven't had a chance to look at the ad or run into the store. Although the deals everyone is getting look really good, I'm trying really hard to keep the processed stuff out of our diets! I think I could splurge on the Simple cookies!
I can't wait until doubles come out this weekend, I've got a raincheck I'm hoping to use combined with coupons and doubles I'm looking at 20 boxes of pasta for $1! I've been out of the loop for the past few months, and it feels SO good to get back into it! :-)

Has anyone tried buying $50.00 worth to see if two $10.00 cats print? Someone posted on another board that they bought $75.00 and got three $10.00 cats. At least that is how she made it sound but she hasn't confirmed yet.
I normally like to break them up to roll the cats but I have a $5./40.00 coupon that I'd like to use if this is the case.

The 5lb GM flour is cheaper if you factor in the Cat at 40% off ($1.20 or 24c/lb). Also 5lb Fred Meyer flour is $1.50 at Fred Meyer through 11/10/09.
Has anyone got 20 Yoplaits in multipacks (like 5 x 4 packs) and got the $2 Cat?

Not sure I saw this mentioned, but when I bought 2 of the progresso broth, the catalina machine spit out a $1 off any one carton of swanson broth, which don't expire until next year, and the swanson should be on sale sometime in the next month. So this could be a sweet coupon to have in November!

I think she's talking about the small Darigold milks that are usually $1, there is a IP in the HCW database for $1/2--if you double that its 2 for free.
FYI Fred Meyer is going to have Organic Valley milk on sale for 50% off and there is also an IP for that-- it should make it under $1 for a 1/2 gal. that is really really good for organic milk.

Boy did I have an interesting time yesterday. Went and did one transaction and tried to use my doubles and the checker started doubling some .50 coupons and I said, "Oh, I wanted to double the $1 coupons - I had 3 of them." and she said "Yeah, those say $1 off 2, so the the value is only .50 anyways." I stood there dumbfounded like, wow I have never heard THAT one before. Tried to show her thats not how it works, finally gave up. Next transaction, the (different) cashier wouldn't double the coupons because they said "not subject to doubling" and she wouldn't listen to me that they always double those, etc. Gave up there. Go to do my last transaction and the cashier wouldn't take my catalina's because I had used "too many coupons already". I was like, "Sure. Of course thats how its going to go today." I had 2 more transactions to do but I figured I better quit for the day due to extremely bad luck.

jenn14jenn--I had a similar problem here in Lacey, Wa the cashier wouldnt double a $1/2 coupon for me at all. I bought 2 oreos used 1 $1.99 sc (that took $.50 off each one) then I used a $1/2 mc. He said he could'nt double the $1/2 mc because that would make one pack better than free. I tried to explain to him that it wouldnt but a line was forming behind me and he just wasnt getting it.
$1.99x2= 3.98-$1/2mc=2.98 divide by 2= $1.49 apiece-$1 double=$.99 apiece.
I'm really not seeing his logic. but its only $1. I just hate that they all use different rules, so you never really know whats going to happen-I guess thats part of the couponing game.

I had a GOOD experience last night at my Albertsons. I wanted to include the Pillsbury pie crusts in a $10/25 transaction. Went to two stores, they were both sold out. The very nice manager at store #2 (on her own suggestion!) substituted Albertsons brand pie crust, accepted my Pillsbury coupons for it, and then gave me $10 cash since there was obviously no cat forthcoming. Yay!

It's interesting how a flu shot can affect people differently. Our family does get the flu shot or tries to get it every year. 7 years ago, my two boys ( 5 & 18 mo.) and myself all caught the flu. It took over a week to feel okay but then the allergy season hit us and I ended up with a throat infection, sinus infection and thrush. My boys got a very bad ear infection that took 2 doses of antibiotics to take care of it. It was almost 6 months later that we finally felt better and stopped coughing. We were also in a middle of a move to our first home that we bought. I never want to go through that again so we do get our flu shots. I completely understand everyone's choice not to get the flu shot. My sister in law has trouble with eggs and also is allergic to penisillin (sorry about the spelling) and did get sick after a flu shot several years back. I hope everyone stays healthy during this bad cold/flu season.
