I was waiting on an ink refill today and my toddler became attached to one of those Halloween snow globes so I figured I'd get it for her as a treat since it was $1. So I held my hand under it in case she dropped it. Of course the one time I move my hand, it drops and shatters every where :hectic1: My fav cashier was there so I flagged her down and told her what happened and told her I'd pay for it but she wouldn't let me. I kept insisting but she wouldn't let me lol. So is there anything yall get commission or points or a contest or whatever this month that I can buy? I figured that globe will come out of her paycheck and I want to pay her back any way I can. TIA!

It will not come out of the cashiers paycheck. They will just do a 1506 claim on it (Damage Claim).

There are always suggested selling items each month---every time the cashier rings one up under their number they get a small commission for it. HTH

The candy bars that are in a display by the register are what they're pushing around here. I assume it's the same items everywhere. I know Reece's cups are included, it's the 3/$2 candy this week. (okay, that doesn't look like it's spelled correctly, but you know what I mean! LOL)

Thanks everyone and I'm really glad it doesn't come out of her paycheck. And I see candy bars in my future :wink7:

LOL ... hope your son loves the candy!! Actually, the Reece's PB Lovers Cup is pretty good -- to me it tastes somewhat like Reece's Pieces do. If the cashier is in Cosmetics, a good item would be one of the "Yes To Carrots" deals on the cosmetics counter. In photo, it is the disposable camera they would have near one of their registers. Another item for the front cashiers (in addition to the Reese's PB Lovers Cup and the Snickers Fudge) is the Wisp tooth dealie. Don't ask me, I've never used it -- I think it might be a cross btwn a toothbrush / pick for those on the go or traveling, I just don't know for sure. It's cute, though (GRIN) ... HTH :)
Btw -- 'small' commission is right, other than the cosmetic items (which only the beauty consultants get commission for), it's generally 5 cents per item for the front cashiers. I usually just concentrate on telling ppl what the best deals in the store are, lol :p

I agree - send an email to the store or corporate office to let them know you had great customer service!
