For the neilmed coupons, click on "customers", then "rebate/coupons", then "USA". Also, there seems to be a manufacturer's rebate for the sinus rinse, so if it's a match, that could be even more of a moneymaker!

I do apologize, but coupons specifically for Zucol are not currently available, however, we do have a Nature’s Way coupon that can be used toward the purchase of Zucol at your local health food store. I have sent a couple of these Nature’s Way coupons to the address you listed below:

kval, I am the same way. I only buy moneymakers I won't use if I know a friend or relative can use them, or if I know that a charity is in desperate need of that item. I have occasionally bought a moneymaker that makes quite a bit of money as an exception, but that's rare for me.

Normally I don't have a problem buying moneymakers. But I am having to front everything out of pocket this month when I shouldn't have to. They are resending my $25 KC gc from June or July because I never got it for whatever reason. And they take SO LONG to get here. Even if I make money, I don't want to buy a lot of this stuff out of pocket.

A few weeks ago I did get a survey while on the RA site. Or was it email? I don't remember. But they were asking things like would you prefer to be mailed a check (NO), or have rebates reloaded on the same gift card every month (YES!) or have the money deposited in to your paypal account (maybe). So hopefully they come up with some better options.

I remember that survey and while the same gift card option seemed attractive as it meant I'd likely get the money faster, my concern was that I then could not deposit that money...and since I typically earn more in SCR than I spend at RA, I'd end up with rewards that I can only spend at RA vs. today where I earn cash to deposit and spend anywhere. That takes away what I think is best about the RA SCR program....the fact that I don't earn "rewards" that I then need to worry how/when to spend at RA....I just get cash.

Maybe Paypal would be ok....but I don't know if I can pull money out of paypal and into my pocket (via a bank acct)....I assume so.

I do agree faster...more reliable.....electronic methods would be preferable to a check that could easily get lost in the mail due to the fact that it is like a post card. I guess I'd love it if they just ACH transferred the money into my checking account....I guess there's a cost to that which they want to avoid.

I love getting a check that I can cash at my bank, even though I have to wait for it. I always seem to "make" money at Rite Aid. CVS ECBs and Walgreens RRs can only be used in store, not on groceries, bills, etc.

While I like the idea of having the rebate loaded to a RiteAid gift card instead of getting those little checks that have such a high chance of getting lost, right now I am using a rewards credit card to buy my freebies so I can earn points. I usually have enough points each year to get some gift cards as Christmas gifts. Either way though, I'm glad they are thinking of ways to improve their program.

Here is what I am planning on doing to roll one of my GOS $20 checks into cash (rebate):

Blink Tears $7.99
Zantac $8.99
Neilmed Nasal Mist Saline Spray $9.99
Zucol Lozenges $5.99
Little Allergies Allergy Block $9.99

-$5/20 RA Q
-$4 Blink Q
-$5 Zantac Q
-$2 Neilmed Nasal Mist Q
-$2 Zucol Q
-$3 Little Allergies Q
-$20 GOS
Total $1.95

Earn SCR: $7.99 (Blink) + $8.99 (Zantac) + $9.99 (Neilmed) + $5.99 (Zucol) + $9.99 (Little Allergies) = $42.95

Do you mean lost in the mail or lost once you get it? Because I've gotten hundreds of post card rebate checks and I can't think of one that has gotten lost in the mail.

None of the 6 Rite Aids I have visited over the last 2 days (our deals in California begin on Friday) were stocked with the Sambucol that is free after SCR. I was planning on using it in one of my transactions to also use the 5/25Q.
Is anyone else having the same problem? The stores are stocked with the Cold variety but not the immune variety- be careful- some of my Rite Aids even improperly labelled the shelves with the wrong one being free after SCR and I pointed it out to them. Are other Rite Aids stocked with the immune Sambucol that is free after SCR?

saverintraining, thanks for posting your suggested splits, but you've made it much more difficult than necessary. The RA coupon is $5/20 (not $4/20, and the same as you'd get off with the $5/25 coupon), so you can easily split them into $20 pieces and not have to worry about a 25c filler in one order or the free Poligrip in the other.

I can't remember if this has been posted so sorry if it's a repeat. If you go to the Neilmed website they have instant rebate coupons for $2.00 off both the Nasogel and NasaMist that are FAR this week. One is a printable PDF and the other is an e-mailed PDF. Since these are already FAR you'd be looking at a $2 MM on each one.

I don't see that the mfg. mail in rebate will work on the SinuFlo. It requires a purchase of a pkg with 50 -100 refill packets. It has only 2 refill packets. Too bad. I was hoping for that $6.00 rebate. Oh well it is free except for the tax and the other NeilMed :wavehi:coupon covered that.

Check your e-mail...in the wellness e-mail there is a sheet of coupons...one of them is $2 off any cold and cough medicine $2.00 or more. I haven't read all the fine print because not going till later in the week...but you should be able to combine this RA coupon with the $1.00/1 in the P&G insert for $2.00 Dayquil/Nyquil. Combine with other items to make $20 and and use the $5/$20 coupon for even better deal!

I found them at my local store this morning. The box is not exactly the same as in the ad. But it's 30 chewable tablets and it rang up at $7.99. And it says Immune System Support. And there was no coupon in the box :-(.

Isn't the wording on this a little strange - "and you COULD receive"

Send in your original receipt(s) confirming purchase of $15 or more on products from any of the participating brands in this Holiday Savings promotion and you could receive a $5 cash rebate from Real Simple.

Taken from the link:
Mail your receipt(s), postmarked by 11/19/09, along with your name and address clearly printed on a 3" x 5" card to: Real Simple "Holiday Savings $5 Rebate Offer," c/o USSC, 625 Panorama Trail (Bldg. 2, Suite 100), Rochester, NY 14625. Please allow 6 – 8 weeks for delivery.
Limited-time offer, while supplies last. Limit one rebate per household. Purchase of qualifying products must be made between 10/12/09 and 11/15/09 and must equal $15.00 or more. Proof of purchase must be in the form of the original store receipt(s) with the qualifying products and purchase date circled and must be postmarked by 11/19/09 and received no later than 11/21/09. Sponsor not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail. Any attempt at fraud may lead to disqualification and further legal action. Void where prohibited by law.

Wonder what the number of 'while supplies last' is on a rebate? ? ? ? Perhaps that is what the "could" is referring to?

Just a friendly warningt that this may not work. I suppose it depends on your store, but this would not work in my store. You total is less than $20 after coupons, so they are not supposed to accept your $5/20. I've tried in past weeks! Just trying to keep you under the radar. ;)

Here's my scenario:

8.99 Zantac
9.99 Little Allergies Allergen Block
4.99 John Frieda Luxurious Volume styler

Minus:

That is not correct. The new RA coupon policy states that the Rite Aid $ off youorder coupons are to be applied before other coupons. If it isn't working at your local store, then you should find a copy of the new coupon policy, print it, and show it to the manager at your local store the next time they try to interpret the policy incorrectly.

Here is part of their policy covering this topic:

All my Rite Aids are awesome and take the $5/$xx first. I already did this transaction on Sunday morning.
Total Purchase Coupons
- From time to time, Rite Aid may feature total purchase coupons which discount the total purchase amount based upon meeting specific requirements. For example, $5 off a $25 purchase price threshold coupon.
-Any manufacturer coupons that may be presented with a total purchase coupon will be deducted after the purchase total has been determined.
- Rite Aid may accept more than one total purchase coupon as long as each total purchase coupon is used in separate transactions with each transaction meeting the minimum purchase requirements. Rite Aid reserves the right to limit the number of total purchase coupons that may be used by a customer in a single day.

I used this policy printout just the other day when a cashier tried to tell me I could not use the $5/20 Q since my total was less than $20 after all other coupons. I actually stopped shopping at this store b/c of their handling of $x/$y coupons but once I had the policy in my hot little hands, I went there hoping they'd say my total was too low....and they did. The manager backed up the cashier and that's when I pulled out my policy. They reluctantly obliged though acted as if I was stealing. I was happy to finally prove them wrong (yes, petty of me but the staff at this store just make shopping the most unpleasant experience!).

I'm new to this so I was wondering if this is a good deal or not....

Playtex Gentle Glide Tampons are on sale 2/$6 and I have a $1.00 off of 1 and I have 8 of those. So I was wondering if that's a great deal to grab. I usually don't pay that much attention to the regular price of stuff to know if I'm getting a good deal....How do you measure if it's a good deal or not??

I am assuming those are 18 or 20 counts...right? It is an okay deal. Playtex are usually free at CVS after ECBs and coupons every 3 months or so, but you can't get enough to last till the next sale.

If you are brand loyal it is probably a better deal than if you aren't. I haven't paid for Tampons in over 3 years but I don't care what brand I buy...whatever is free works for me.

leqet
10-21-2009, 04:03:46 AM
This may depend on where you live, but imo, that's not a stock-up price. There are almost always coupons out for feminine products. I've never paid more than a dollar a box and sometimes have gotten them free. When one coupon expires, another will come out. If you need them get a box or two to last you until the next sale, but don't get them JUST because you have the coupons.

Sorry, I wasn't clear there. I was saying that I think I'm in a similar area to K-val. I think she is in MI and I am in NW OH. The best way to find others in your area or get info about local things is to go to the Couponers Across The World forum here and try to find others in your area: Couponers Across the World - Hot Coupon World (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/couponers-across-world/)

As far as K-Mart goes, some do doubles occasionally. Again, the best way to find out when and where is to go to the K-Mart forum found here because doubles info is always posted there:

Kmart - Hot Coupon World (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kmart/)

2 Rite Aids in the Portland, Oregon Metro Area had corporate memos posted that said they had distribution problems with the Sambucol Immune System Buster. The memo stated they have added the Cold & Flu Relief Tablets and Liquid as part of the sale and rebate for this week. The stores I went to were well stocked with the Cold & Flu version. Choose your boxes carefully, most do not have the $3 coupon in them. But, a few are still out there.

Thanks for the info. I'd rep you if I could, but apparently I need to spread the love around.

If you get a $5/20 coupon from the Video Values, it would be a better deal.
8/$24 - $5/20 = $19-(8 $1mfr) = $11/8 boxes or $1.38 a box!

Thanks for the help!

Hello all:wavehi:
I thought I'd share my lovely shopping trip with you all, as I'm sure you can relate to my joy:) I found a store that has a manager who knows her sales, and coupons- and stocks appropriately. Tonight, 7pm on SATURDAY...they still had FAR the items available!

I split my order into 5 transactions, throwing in 56 Reese's (BOGO sale, with the remainder of my BOGO Q's) to make a low OOP on each order. So my total stats, assuming no errors, was:
Rebate amount: $77.88
Total OOP: $29.02
Money Made $48.86! and 56 packs of Reese's!

That is all:BigHand:
