Last week I tried to use the $2/1 Softsoap hand pump coupon found at Walgreens with their logo at Kroger to take advantage of the catalina wyb 1. Even though the coupon said something like redeemable at food, drug..etc that accept coupons, they wouldn't take it because it said redeemable at Walgreens. I argued that it didn't say ONLY but no go.
Today my friend calls me and tells me that she found a coupon for Fuze at Walgreens and it says Manufacturer's coupon with all the regular redeeming rules. And it says "exclusively at Walgreens"
Well guess where I found the same tearpad? CVS! With the same words "exclusively at Walgreens"
I wonder how much hassle I will get if I try to use it at Kroger or Albertsons? Sigh...

This still confuses me too...I mean even my Publix coupons say "manufacturer coupon" right next to "redeemable only at Publix" and I even had a Publix cashier and then manager tell me a coupon worded in exactly that way is NOT a store coupon when I had just used it in another store, coupled with a manu coupon, with no problems...you would think that the mgmt in a store located 5 miles from the corporate HQ in a chain that offers multiple store coupons every month would be better trained!!
Im guessing that maybe even store coupons are just some sort of promo whereby manufacturers print coupons exclusively for certain stores to be used as store coupons but in actuality, maybe they are ALL really manufacturer coupons in the sense that they are all produced by the manufacturer.
I have those same FUZE coupons you mentioned and I was told by the Walgreens mgr last night that they are manufacturer coupons, not store coupons yet there was a sign right next to the tearpad that reads "$.75 off!, see cashier for store coupon" and here I am, with bells and whistles going off in my "lightning-fast-deal-computating-mind" lol, thinking - yay, apparently the cashier has a store q and this is a manu q according to the mgr so Im like loading up the cart lol and when I get to the register, the cashiers magic "store q" was the very same tearpad which the mgr told me was a manu q...but not to worry, I ripped the remaining 5 tearpad q's off the display and stuck em in my purse so no other customers would suffer the same confusion lol...and I'll be back when they go on sale!
I wonder if anyone REALLY knows how to address this question or whether we will always be subject to the sometimes uninformed interpretaion of the mgr on duty that day...some of them are so "anti-coupon" that you would think the face value of each coupon was being deducted from their paycheck!
