Send a message via E-mail

:wavehi: I know there used to be a link where you can send an email directly to a member because I've used it once but I can't seem to find it anymore. Is that feature gone/turned off/moved?

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I must have missed this one some how.

Sending an email directly to a member is an option that each member can turn on or off depending on their preferences. But if they do have option turned on and they do wish to be contacted via email you can go to that members profile and click on the tab labeled "Contact Info" and there it will give you the option to send that member an email (if the other person has enabled that option)

I just looked at your profile kuponer and you have that option turned off, so right now other member cannot email you through the site.

For anyone that wishes to turn on or off the email from other members feature you can change that setting via the Edit Options (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) in your userCp

If you have the email option enabled other members cannot gain access to your actual email address just by sending you an email. They will only gain access to your email address if you reply to the email and then at that point you are sharing your email address with the other member.

Additionally...if the other member has the email option turned on you can click their username on a post and a drop down menu appears with various options, and the send email option is one of them.
