So what's your thought so far on the Fresh Rewards Cash (FRC)? Seems an awful lot like the ECB's at CVS so far.

For those who are wondering, they do "roll." Each FRC has the same barcode, but they may change monthly. They print an expiration date on them, and it has the month pre-printed on them.

We've been to LF twice so far this week and have gotten:
6 Green Giant Frozen Veggies - $.50ea AC (used $.50/2 IP on pillsbury.com)
10 Old El Paso Taco Shells - $.65ea AC (used $.60/2 IP on pillsbury.com)
2 Old El Paso Flour Tortillas - $.65ea AC (used $.60/2 IP on pillsbury.com)
12 BC Hamburger Helper - $.75ea AC (used $.75/5 IP on coupons.com)
8 BC Boxed Potatoes - $.45ea AC (used $.40/1 IP on pillsbury.com)
2 Dukes Mayo - $.39ea AC (used $.55/1 IP on dukesmay.com)
8 Pillsburys Grands Jr - $.50ea AC (used $1/2 IP from bricks)
4 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls - $.66ea AC (used $1/1 IP from bricks)
2 Kashi Cereal - Free AC (used $3/1 from vocal point)

Total cashed spent so far is $11.48.
I've used (1) $5 FRC & (1) $4 Pillsbury Catalina.
I still have (2) $5 FRC's & (1) $4 Pillsbury catalina ($14) still to use.

...so, I've technically made $2.52 at LF this week, so seems like a good program so far to me.

You did great!!!

I did not know the frozen veggies were included with the deal. Cool! Also, it appears you can do each deal more than once.

I'm not sure of my feelings right now. I won't spend enough to get the "loyalty" rewards but the weekly deals may be good, especially when paired with coupons.

The frozen Green Giant veggies are not part of the Fresh Rewards Cash deals. They were just on sale this week. Sorry if I confused you. Only the canned Green Giant veggies are part of the FRC deals.

I'll never get any of the Loyalty rewards either...but if they keep doing these FRC deals every week, I'm going to like this.

I'm a little confused by the whole thing. I understand earning the FRC for purchasing specific items as advertised but there is no longer a way that you build up points based on your regular purchases (My receipt was $4.73 OOP today and my FR was 0 before and after the purchase)? Is the only way to do that if you regularly spend $50/week (is this before or after discounts/coupons)? I don't do that anymore after I discovered winetags about 6 months ago and with the instasave $10/$50 or $5/$25 discounts (now seem to be gone). So it looks like it will be fairly useless unless I'm interested in their bulk FRC specific advertised specials. We'll see.

I'm a little confused...

By what you wrote, it seems like you do understand, well, at least that's how I understand it too. I'll never get any of the "Loyalty" rewards, only the weekly FRC deals.

Here is how their website puts it:
The more you spend, the more you earn! Members earn "Loyalty" Rewards at varying levels based upon total purchases in the preceding calendar quarter. Levels are reset each quarter. Though not all customers will reach the minimum level required to earn Loyalty Rewards (an average of $50 per week in purchases), all customers are eligible to earn Promotional Rewards. Promotional Rewards vary, and are offered on fresh rewards promoted products. Every time your fresh rewards balance reaches $5.00 in value, you will be issued a fresh rewards Cash coupon worth $5.00 off of a future transaction.

There is no way in the world I'll hit $50 a week, unless they go by pre-coupon amounts. But since the greenpoint went by post-coupon amounts, I assume this will as well.

So...no loyalty points for me.

So far I don't like it. I guess I need to get use to it. This evening was my first time in the store this week. I did two transactions so I could roll the first FRC. I spent more in those two tranactions than I have in the last 3 weeks at Lowes. ($14.21)
yes it's a lot like CVS. and I love CVS. but it did take a while to figure it out.

When the cashier was alerted to issue my coupon he had this blank look on his face and someone had to step up and explain it to him. I guess I had a similar look when he handed me the Q. I had it all of 3 minutes and wanted to examine it. :giggle2:

That was the way it was each time for me. I was the one who had to tell the cashier what to do the last two times.

But like I said, I'm loving it so far...especially when combining it with the Pillsbury MM! But yeah, our OOP has been a little higher to start off with, but we have (3) $5 FRC's and (1) $4 catalina ($19) to use and we've only spent $11.84 OOP so far (with the help of a $5 discount that the cashier scanned, which I have no clue why).

are you suppose to get a % of your order total back?

This is hard to ask because I don't know exactly what I'm asking!!

OK at the bottom of your receipt you've got FR balance, FR earned...

Do you earn $ each time you spend? The only thing that shows up on my is the promotion that I do. ($5 and now $3)

Did that make sense to anyone?

Based on the "loyalty" part of the FRC info, it seems that if you do get anything, it won't show up until after the first "quarter." One would think that the first quarter began Oct 1st, and will end on Dec 31st. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I wonder if we'll get some kind of statement telling us how we did.

We spent another $.93 today.

Hopefully Cory will get this all figured out and learn us all :giggle2:

Anyone else having problems with instasaves not transferring over? Mine didn't, CS said it would take up to a week to show....still holding on to my receipt just in case.

The $.55 did not come off for poptarts. Everyone here is sick so I decided to eat that $.55. When I'm well I'll worry with Instasave.
