I am new to Giant and was wondering if anyone knows how Giant works the Catalina deals. This week Giant has a frozen food Catalina deal Buy $25 in select items on the page and get a $10 coupon off your next order. My question is does regular shelf price work to get to the $25 or do you have to spend the entire $25 in sale prices.

This is a great deal for me. I needed to stock up on Ore Ida and Lean Pockets and I get to try the Birds Eye Meal for Two.

I will be doing this deal at least 2 more times this week since I have enough coupons left.

What does everyone think about the price of the cranberries? I have $1 peelies, which would make them $1.49/bag. Should I wait a few weeks and see if I can find them cheaper? Also, what about the Mac & Cheese. If you use the $1/2 printables, that would bring them down to 2/$4, which is less than Walmart's price.

It works on the before coupon total. I went tonight and my total was 65 something before coupons and 1.70 after coupons. I gave the bonus points coupon first and then the other coupons. I'm up to 155 points so far and a few more weeks to get more.

I'm loving the Thank You coupons for free stuff! This week Herr's Chips, Turkey Hill Ice Cream, $5 off Deli & 6 pack of Water. I did pretty well this week @ Giant. For the $10 wyb $25 Frozen I did this:

4 Red Baron Singles $10. -$1/1 X4. Plus 4 Dollar Doublers = $2.00
2 Ore Ida Tater Tots $4.78. -$1.50/2 = $3.28
2 Ore Ida Fries $4.78. -$1.50/2 = $3.28

Used my $.50/$10 Frozen Q

I go back with coupons that I've forgotten to redeem (or more likely that i gave to DH when he shops and he comes home with the groceries and the coupons) all the time. They mark your receipt and will give you the cash. The customer svc. folks at Giant are pretty good about stuff like that.

I already went back for a second trip before I read your post! But thanks for the suggestion; I repped you for your help. Next time I'll know! I wanted to do the freezer deal again, so no biggie! And it did work with my pre-q total. I ended up paying $26 (also got the $10 OYNO) and I think I got 89 or 98 points. Something like that. Nice!!

Also just a heads up>>> ziploc bags (some are priced 1.85) buy 3 get $2.00 cat plus there is a rebate offer for buy 3 J and j products get $5 back and you can do this deal separately 3 times for a total of $15 back.


So $1.85 * 3= $5.55 -$1/2q= $4.55- $2.00 cat= $2.55 - $5.00 rebate= $2.45mm
plus you can do offer 3 times so $7.35mm (minus stamps)
