they were out of the frozen pancakes and the coupon said $1/2 frozen pancakes. They checked the store room for more and said I could use my coupons on the frozen waffles. It would not scan on the waffles as the clerk had my coupons. It was meant to be used on frozen pancakes only. I got 4 boxes and saw the $3/5 Quaker and added a bottle of syrup and that coupon would not scan either. The clerk had all my coupons and none would scan. I got a raincheck on the frozen pancakes. Traders should be careful, I was iso frozen pancakes and ended up with pancake mix. "pancakes" with an "S" can not be the same thing as "pancake" as in pancake mix, so this is not a trade post, I got all I needed, but if you are trading be careful and make sure you are getting what you want, pancake (which is mix) or pancake"S" (which is frozen).

edit: I have not seen any coupons on the frozen "waffles". Are they out there too?

I was at the self scan and the clerk scanned them there. I did not hear any beeps.

My AJ coupons is for Pancakes only...OK, I am now confused, I am not sure if I read the coupon wrong at the store or whether it was the Waffles that were cheaper. I know the difference was $1...one was 2/$3 and the other was 2/$2 and I though my coupon was good only for the more expensive.

Where is the Quaker one from? Is it the tearpad looking ones? I got some in trade. PMing you...

It looks like the frozen pancake coupon only works on the frozen pancakes, logical.
And the $3/5 Quaker does not work on A. J. frozen items.

I have run across this with other $$$ of multiple items Q's. I believe that some stores systems will make the cashier verify that you got the correct amount of items, and then she will have to put the $$$ off in manually, like they do for the FREE coupons. I hope this helps.

I had no problem with those Qs. However, Wed night my Tidy Cat coupons would not scan (had to be manually pushed through) but yesterday they scanned fine. I was told a couple weeks ago they had to re-do their system due to people using 2 Qs on one item (??????) And there were still glitches. I had a problem with frozen veggie Qs beeping but they worked a few days later. Kind of odd that one day they beep but a few days later they don't.

I had no problem with the breakfast coupons when I went thru a regular checkout. The problem was at the self scan, coupons not scanning.

At the 2 stores I have been to here, they won't let us scan our own coupons anymore. I think even if you manage to scan one, it won't let you scan more than 2 they just beep.

I hope my store doesn't start that. I feel better scanning my own so I know nothing was missed. Last Wed 2 coupons were missed in regular checkout. I was trying to watch and count as she scanned but SO interupted me by saying something. I looked away for a second to give the "don't bother me stink eye" to him (LOL) and that's when they were missed.

On saturday I went to uscan and the kid scanning my Q missed 4 $.50 STORE coupons (markdown dairy). I went back and they gave me my $2. Husband was with me (usually I go solo) and he was so quick to get out of the parkinglot, I made him turn around so I could go get my $2...

i used one of these last night in the self check and had no problems with it. and i really hope they still let us scan our own....if not i think i will start handing them over one at a time to make sure they all get scanned.
