Love, love, love the Dulcolax Balance deal. Not so much because I need the product (I have no idea what it is, really. :giggle2:) But because it says "Use the coupon on the pack and get a Register Reward." I am laminating this part of the ad and putting in my binder. It will be very helpful when I am told that I can't use a coupon and get a Register Reward. :dance7:

I appreciate this posting.... I live in an area where we get the short ad every week! On here the majority of what I see is the larger ad....I am then forced to either try and figure out what will be on sale here out of that ad or just be so envious of all of the rest of you. Thank YOU so much for posting this ......

yes you are correct, but the $2 ip that did include these will have expired by this ad...i just used one today as it expires today...
but if you read her senario, she is referring to the insert coupon specifically-and that was what i was referring to as that coupon is not good on the robitussin to go 2ct

I can verify I'm still using soap which was purchased 20+ years ago. There's a story, and it's a little romantic.
As far as product quality, after some years (and I mean a lot of years) the very exterior did dry out a little and form a layer which has to be hydrated when I break open a new package. But once I get through that layer, the rest is as good as the day it was purchased.

Do you care to share your story?
I did one of those with small trash bags (bathroom sz). I hadn't found HCW yet, and thought I was getting a good buy on Kitchen trash bags at Sam's Club. It was a 1000 ct box. It came out to like .02 or .05 per bag. I later found out they were for the bathroom! I think it took me like 8 years to use those up!

I'm still using soap which was purchased 20+ years ago. There's a story, and it's a little romantic.
I started using a P&G soap many years ago which my then-boyfriend (now-husband) and I both liked the smell on me. After I moved out of state to live with his parents before we got married, I called him (also out of state) and told him I could not find the soap anywhere I was. So, unbeknownst to me at the time, while he was travelling back through the home state before our wedding, he stopped by a local grocery store and filled up an entire shopping cart with said soap and checked out. I imagine he got a lot of raised eyebrows and comments. That stockpile of soap has made three moves and lasted over twenty years. I am sadly down to just a few bars and really do not know what I will begin using after.
The soap is Monchel. Anyone remember the commercials of the lady bathing in a half-shell?

Oooo that is so sweet! My mom has a lot of stuff from the 70s and before and she gave me her old eye shadow and it's still good lol. And yes I know you're not supposed to share it or let it get old because of bacteria but o well, I've had it almost 8 years now and it's never hurt my eyes. And like a pp posted, I have done that with trash bags too! Actually it was Wags bags that were on sale and I thought they would fit our trash can but instead we've been squeezing em onto the recycling can. Still have half a box to go. Does Sams carry big boxes of the 30ish gallon bags? I never find those below $2.49 for 20.

i guess I am dating myself b/c I DO remember that commercial of the lady taking a bath in the shell. I was just a kid then and thought how cool---when I am all grown up I can take a bath in a shell instead of a boring old tub!! LOL. That is a sweet story----thanks for sharing it.

Aw, so so sweet. makes me smile!!! what a good guy- good thing you nabbed him up! Even better than a b1g1 w/2 good mq's & a RR deal to boot :giggle2:

Somebody suggested buying two Contour meters and getting $5 RR (buy $20, get $5 RR) and definitely not knocking that. However, I see a way to get FREE (after Register Reward) vitamins if you are in need.
Bayer Contour Meter & One-A-Day Vitamins
TOTAL: FREE (after Register Reward)
SALE: $14.99 (meter) + 6.99 (vitamins)
MQ: Save up to $30/1 mfc Contour (various inserts) + $2/1 mfc One-A-Day (9/27 RP)
RR: Buy $20 get $5
MATH: $14.99 + $6.99 = $21.98 - $14.99 manu. - $2 manu. = $4.99 OOP, Get $5 RR.

I'm relatively new to this and have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with:
Does everyone's WAGS accept a coupon for a freebie item? (ex: Dove bogo)
I'm hesitant to try because I think our clerk might say that I'm already getting the shampoo for free.
Also, if it's BOGO how does the free one count toward the RR if we don't pay for it?

My Walgreens won't let you use BOGO on a BOGO sale. They will work for getting RR.

My Walgreens does let you use a coupon on a freebie. So if I am buying two bottles of shampoo and I have a BOGO coupon.....I can pair it with a $1 off one coupon. YMMV on this I think.
If Wags if offering a BOGO sale on shampoo....some will let you use a BOGO coupon and get two bottles for free. Also a YMMV situation (tho it's documented in RiteAid (http://*************.com/2009/10/official-rite-aid-coupon-acceptance.html) and CVS (http://forum.**************/cvs-pharmacy-deals/1751-cvs-coupon-policy-info.html)Coupon policy to allow this....I know of no Wags coupon policy documentaiton.)

I'm guessing not since the October month long deals go thru to Oct 31...my assumption is that the month long Nov deals don't start until Nov 1.

Okay i'm new to this wags stuff and after reading all the posts i'm confused if the Dove shampoo/conditioner IS a monthly RR deal or not? Can someone please post a definite answer please
And is Gillette Fusion razors RR still going on?
With the Glade sale there is a B1G1 Free coupon and a $2.00/2 MQ, If you can combine the two it would be 0.99 for 2 - $1.99 RR, so a $1 MM right?

In order to use both those coupons, you would need to buy 3. Otherwise you have 1 item that has two q's attached to it.

Hi Alyciah!
The Gillette Fusion MVP razor RR is valid until 10/24. Make sure you get the MVP (says it on the package), because the other Fusion razors will not work for the RR. Just did this twice today, trying to use up all my Q's before the promo ends.

Not too long ago my local Wags (with a new manager) tried saying the same thing. I didn't push very much but called corporate as soon as I got out and got a very helpful lady who informed me that THEY would need to be retrained and she was going to write all this down. She apologized more than once for the misunderstanding, but not only confirmed the use of coupons on the free items but also the use of identical coupons as long as you buy the same number of that item (my Wags was actually trying to say that was coupon fraud for a little while because it says 1 per purchase....... I know what that means, but apparently they didn't :shrug7:). The lady at corporate was so nice and apologetic ..... so, maybe you can just call corporate and innocently say something like "I just want to make sure that I'm following the basic rules....... I know that some things are decided store to store, but as far as using 2 coupons on a B1G1 Free, what is the overall policy........ " Then you have something to go on when you get in there (write the name and time of the phone call down).....
Hope this helps.

There are $2/1 ips on the Dr. Scholl website. They have them for Massaging Gel, For Her and Tri Comfort insoles, which are all pictured in the ad. There are ips for other insoles, but I don't know if those ones are included in the deal because they aren't pictured in the ad. There may be ips for other Dr. Scholl products, I only checked for the insoles.
I went to Walgreens yesterday to check on some prices. The Massaging Gel ones are $10.99, the Tri Comfort are $10.99 and the For Her Soothe my Sole (pictured in ad) are $9.99. The For Her 16hr are $9.99 and the For Her High Heel are $10.99. If you wanted to buy the Soothe my Sole ones, you'd have to buy another Dr. Scholl product to make the total higher than $10 to get the RR.
I'll probably do this deal:
Dr. Scholls
Total: $3.99
Sale (Price, I don't think they are on for a special sale price): $10.99 for Massaging Gel insole or Tri Comfort insole
MQ: $2.00/1 ip
Ad Q: NA
RR: $5 (wyb $10)

Is anyone else freaking out late at night trying to find your coupons, cut out new insert coupons, read the post on line, etc to go shopping after midnight like me?
I never sleep on Sat/Sun anymore.
I was out shopping the deals all day Saturday so I'm behind on prepping tonight.
At least I don't really have to prep for CVS this week.
But, I can't find my freaking Dove coupons! Don't really need any; just want to give to family & friends. And where's my oatmeal ones? I'm in the middle of redoing my coupon box so some stuff is out of place. Got tired of lugging the notebook all the time & flipping pages constantly to file.

:hd2:The Contour Glucose Meter!! What a deal! I cut out the $30 coupon and ran to the store to see if it really worked. No prescription needed. It was priced at $79. It scanned for $14.99. If you buy 2 with 2 coupons not only is it FREE but they give you $5 RR. I'm not sure if the rebate will work though. The form states to indicate the price you paid after reductions. However, FREE and a $5 RR! Great gifts for our aunts and uncles. Yea!!

Thank you to everyone that contributes to these threads!!! I went into Walgreens to shop the RR deals for the FIRST time ever this morning. I totally lucked out! Not only did they have everything in stock that I was looking for, the cashier at the cosmetic counter actually helped me find everything, pointed out the $.50 coupon hanging by the Halls, offered couponing advice for what order to ring up my items, and found extra coupons for me! YEA!!! Here are my totals:
$323.22 before discounts/coupons
$44.40 paid oop ($38.27 went on my flex card, $6.13 cash)
and still have $38 left in RR
Probably could have maximized my savings more, but bought a double newspaper, Flinstone vitamins, and a bunch of pencils for fillers. Overall I am SOOOOO excited!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone!!

Can anyone verify that on the dove deal you buy 8 get the 4 free and the rr printed? thanks in advance
Yup! Did it x 4 already today:BigHand: Asked the manager to clarify the rules on using two Q's on a B.O.G.O deals. She assured me there was no such rule to her knowledge.
Bought 8 Dove Conditioners (assorted types) @ $4.99 for 2 (B.O.G.O)
= $19.96 Minus 8 x $1.50 Q's = $12
= OOP $7.96 + Tax
Got $10 RR
Then got 8 poo's, similar scenario using the $1/1 Insert Q. Cost roughly $12 OOP + tax....$10 RR back
RR printed again
FYI: My coupon buddy suggested I use the in Flier Q for Royal Gelatin $1/5 on each transaction just in case the register had a hissy fit! Everything went through smoothly:smile:
Good luck

Can someone verify that the Degree RR is for the purchase of one or two? The price is 2/$7; there are $1.50 coups out and a $2 RR. If the RR is on the purchase of 1, then free Degree deordorant, if you have to buy 2, then $1 Degree deordorant.

In my ad, it looks like it's $2 RR wyb one. It normally says when you need to buy more than one. The ad says "With purchase of Degree below, receive $2 in REGISTER REWARDS® at checkout* Good on your NEXT in store purchase." But I haven't gone and verified it yet.
Also, where did you find $1.50/1 coupons?? I have $1.25/1 inserts coupons. The coupon database lists a printable $1.50, but I couldn't get it to work....and the degree site just has $1 and $1/2 ones.

Yea!!
I tried buying the Bayer meter and One A day vitamins but the $5 RR didnt print. The manager said it was because my total after coupons didn't exceed $20. Normally I'd argue the "no RR when you use a coupon" spiel, but I've dealt with this manager before and he's always been fair and knowledgeable so I let it go and returned both items. I never seem to get an RR on the deals where you have to buy a certain dollar amount. Is everyone else getting this deal to work?

All the monthly deals in my store (DFW area) end on the 31st according to the signs. I didn't take my coupons with me this morning because I heard everyone say they had finished. Take your coupons with you just in case!! A couple of the products were out so I will go back Wed as they have told me they get their shipment in on Tues.
Can one store end a monthly deal at a different time or did they probably just take the signs down?
Thanks!!

Quaker Oats & Quaker Instant Oatmeal GDA!
I'm not quite sure how to do this in the approved format and still have it make sense. Hope this is ok:
Retail: $3.19 for instant Oats
Register Rewards: $5 WYB $10 in Quaker products
Coupons: BOGO (from Wags weekly flyer) Quaker Instant Oats limit 4.
$1.25/2 Quaker Oats or Instant Oatmeal (forget which insert) x 2
This was my scenario:
Buy 4 Quaker Instant Oats (12.76)
Use BOGO Q: (-$6.38)
Use $1.25/2 insert q x 2 (-$2.50)
Pay: $3.88
Get back $5 RR
With holiday baking coming up, this is a great deal for me! The instant oatmeal packets were on sale for 2/$5, but no BOGO coupon so it would not be a money maker. You'd end up buying 4 boxes for $2.50 after RR. If you get the oatmeal packets, be sure to look for boxes that advertise coupons being inside.

Not me. The manager at my store said my coups for $14.99 off the meter and $2 off the vitamins dropped the combined price to under $20 so the RR wouldnt print. I have heard that other customers are buying 2 meters and using 2 $14.99 coupons and getting the RR. All depends on your store I guess.

Are all Dove brand 12 oz shampoos ringing up $4.99 BOGO? I noticed that only the white, blue and lavender bottles were marked with tags $4.99 BOGO, the yellow and green or other bottles were marked $4.99 but didn't have the BOGO tags on them (they were 12 oz though). So, I just bought the ones that were marked.
I try to be very careful at Walgreens because some deals you have to be sure of exact sizes or varieties and I didn't want any surprises at the register.

Has anyone had luck with the Gillette Fusions producing RR's this morning? Just wondering before I head out! Still have 6 q's to use up, and I'd rather use them at Wags than at CVS.

Not me. The manager at my store said my coups for $14.99 off the meter and $2 off the vitamins dropped the combined price to under $20 so the RR wouldnt print. I have heard that other customers are buying 2 meters and using 2 $14.99 coupons and getting the RR. All depends on your store I guess.
It works, I bought 2 meters at 2 different stores, used the coupons and got back the RR

I just got back from Walgreens. I purchased 1 Degree deodorant for $3.50 and used a -$1.50Q (the deal is 2/$7) to see if an RR would print out and it did NOT print out the $2 RR. So I think you only get the $2 RR if you buy the 2/$7
I just found the same thing. BUMMER!

[quote=loaslaen;2095993]Are all Dove brand 12 oz shampoos ringing up $4.99 BOGO? I noticed that only the white, blue and lavender bottles were marked with tags $4.99 BOGO, the yellow and green or other bottles were marked $4.99 but didn't have the BOGO tags on them (they were 12 oz though). So, I just bought the ones that were marked. [quote]
I got 2 yellow & 2 green of the Dove Shampoo & Conditioner (8 total) yesterday and they all rang up BOGO. Unfortunately I only had 3 shampoo coupons & 3 conditioner coupons. I added in my 2 extra newspapers ($2 each) and rolled $16 in RR from last week. Including tax I spent ~$1.50. I left with $10RR. Not bad.

LOL! This discribes me exactly! My SS is always telling "me why don't you get this stuff together ahead of time?" I'm like, :salesads:"I do, but then I read that there are other/better deals and I NEED to get those too!":list1: I'm glad I'm not the only one-I thought everyone on here was SO orgainized.

Just wanted to say thanks and reps to those that posted about the quaker oatmeal and dove deals. I got 4 canisters of oatmeal, 2 glucose meters, halls drops, 4 bottles of shampoo, 4 conditioner, softsoap base and refill, and a couple of fillers, after coupons and RR's paid a little over $3!

.....and then I spend all darn day catching up on good deals on this site, only to NOT have time to shop - HUH:shrug7: - this especially happens when I'm headed out on vacation - right now.....kids don't have school (closed schools for FLU), we leave on TH, and I have $50+ RRs for wags that will start expiring FRI and no time to go - WHAAAAAA.......sorry, back to wags this week and if I'd stop reading and run and shop, I might be better off, but then I'd miss a deal too :hectic1::hectic1::hectic1::hectic1::hectic1:

Which Mucinex is $10 regular price? I went tonight and my store has the 20ct for $13.99 (which you can't use the $4 ADQ on) and the 28ct that is listed on the ADQ is $25.99! I'd love to pick some up, but it looks like this may be a no go. (I'm in Northern California, BTW)
I think you're right but the smaller Mucinex I believe goes on sale next week and the RR deal continues thru 12/31.

I had a whole scenario for last week and guess what I got screwed lol cause I never went.

I keep my RRs and WAGS ad w/ me at all time and the coupons I need and a small notebook. On my lunch shift I sit in the breakroom at work and work out my scenarios. But more times than not something ends up coming up and I can't go after work.
I'm about to get off the computer now (or in an hour, lol) and work out a bunch of scenarios. My 18 yr old niece, who is more like a sister since we are only 8 yrs apart, told me she wants to learn WAGs deals. So I told if she picked me up tomorrow (don't have a car right now), I'd take her and show her and share some of the free stuff w/ her. And she loves free as much as I do! :BigHand:

if you bought the Dove shampoo/conditioners on sale BOGO 4.99, you should've gotten your $10 RR. The 2 single bar Dove soap doesn't affect printing of RR since the requirement is buy 8, get $10 RR. If you bought the trial Dove shampoo/conditioners, it will not really print the RR.

Okay, I just want to confirm with people... if you buy 4shampoos/4conditioners (or any combo adding to 8) + 8 Qs the RR should still print? I've read conflicting reports about whether it works or not, so I chickened out of trying at Wags today. I did, however, haul, off with a lot of other great finds (including the Quaker oatmeal!).

Yes, it will work. I have done it several times this week. Just don't use the RR that you get to do the deal again, or it won't print.

:dance7:

I just did this last night - I bought 8 conditioners, used 8 $1.50/1 Q's, and received the $10RR! Great deal! :BigHand: And, I purchased the conditioners that are in the green and yellow bottles - they don't have tags saying they are part of the B1G1 deal or RR deal, but they did work for both!! BTW do bars of soap go bad? I think I already have a stockpile that will last me until 2011.
I can verify I'm still using soap which was purchased 20+ years ago. There's a story, and it's a little romantic.
As far as product quality, after some years (and I mean a lot of years) the very exterior did dry out a little and form a layer which has to be hydrated when I break open a new package. But once I get through that layer, the rest is as good as the day it was purchased.
bar soap doesn't go bad as lmcconne stated. as a matter of fact, it will last longer, as my mom says, if you open the box and take them out and set them on a piece of wax paper in your closet, drawer etc., it will freshen the area its in and dry out, making it last longer. i just open the ends of the boxes and let them dry out that way on the shelves. if you notice when they get wet when you use them right after purchase, they dissolve quickly, then you need to buy more right away. but after they have dried out for a long time they will last longer. this may vary by brand my mom says.

AD Q: $4/1 in-ad q
RR: month long deal, buy 2 get $5 rr
MATH:2x$10=$20
2x$2q=$4
2x$4inad q=$8
$20-$12=$8
$8(after qs)-$5rr=$3/2
I stopped at WG yesterday to try to replicate this deal, but the regular price of the small boxes of Mucinex were either $12.99 or $13.99. They
will be on sale next week @ $10 each, 2/$20 less two $2 qs = $16/2, or $11/2 after the $5 RR. But the $4 in-ad coupon isn't good next week?

The BOGO ad is one the last page, I believe. The RR deal is a monthly deal that is not in the ad, but it works. :giggle2:
Here is the link to the thread that has all the current RR deals in it. Link. (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/walgreens-catalina-deals-register-rewards/275505-current-walgreens-register-reward-summary.html)

If you check the database above you will find the insert the Q was in.
Yes there are conflicts but I can't tell you which. Just check your RR's as they are printing or check the manu. on the product to make sure it doesn't conflist. A lot of Free after RR will end tomorrow. Sorry I can't help ya more.
