It would be nice to have a couple of more before the new year. My K-mart usually had a 25 coupon limit, but when I went the first day it was now a 10 coupon limit, but by the end of the sale I was told that they ripped the signs down and you could use whatever you wanted. I just wish there would be the same rules followed by every store. It seems like corporate has nothing to do with the 10 limit coupon, they set it, but the managers can override it if they want to. It would be nice to know every time you go so that you are prepared.

The next two weeks of P&G have been leaked and no mention of doubles in them. At least not that I have heard. Also, no leaks from employees at Kmart either. I wont hold my breath on this one.

I have a friend that is a department head at kmart and she said she say an email that said November 12-16 they are having some kind of special events and that double coupons was one of them but didn't see the amount they were doubling up to or anything else. Hopefully she will get a chence to read the whole email and let me know.

I am hoping for soon, I have some $2 cats for Cottonelle burning a hole in my envelope!! lol! Plus, I have spotted a lot of Q's lately that I thought would be perfect for the K-Mart Super Doubles!!

My dog and cat are getting kinda low on food and treats! There is the $1.50 Goodlife Recipe Q's for Dog and Cat food in the 10/18 SS. It usually runs around $4.79 I believe....so, pretty good price for dog and cat food ($1.79 approx.)

If anyone hears anymore on the subject of SD I would love to know asap to get my q's ready!! I'm so excited!! ;) :BigHand:

It would be fabulous to have another doubles before the end of the year but I just don't see it happening. I think with all the snooping Kmart employees we have on the various boards we would have a better idea if it was in fact going to be the 1st. The first is right around the corner. I just don't see it....There are tons of coupon boards with a good amount of employees on them and nada about seeing an ad.

The whole email thing does nothing for me. I can't even believe the number of times Kmart has pulled the "we got an email" card.

We can only hope it will happen soon though.

Thanks and reps to you! I really really hope this is true. It is starting to sound more like it. All the cashiers in my dingy little Kmart hate me so I doubt they'd tell me even if they knew. I think they feel like I argue, but if they'd only select the right product when the register prompts them it would avoid so many problems. My Kmart has had the 10 coupon limit for the last 3 SD events. It wouldn't double anything over 10 coupons, I was always jealous of those of you that could use more. I'm excited about another double event because I just got a friend into couponing and I think this would help her see that there really IS a point to all the coupons and she can save a lot. My favorite Kmarts' store manager said that she was on a conference call yesterday and they said that Kmart is never doing doubles again. My heart is completely broken !! This manager is awesome and very very coupon friendly. She actually seemed dissappointed. Who knows though maybe she will be wrong!! I guess we will see on the 1st.

I got the rewards card yesterday at my store and nothing was mentioned about doubles at all. The woman told me that her understanding was that the rewards would come via e-coupons or home mailers. Plus, there is some sort of cash back reward I think, too.

Doing this card with double coupons would make sense, though. They could track down those doing coupon fraud, since that was supposedly a reason for not doing super doubles anymore.

There are no Ohio stores on that list but I was offered a card yesterday here in Toledo, OH. Definitely check your local store.

Looking at the website for the new card, the program was rolled out yesterday. I'd hazard a guess that the card is available to all K-Marts now, but there's no way of knowing until you walk in. This says nothing on whether they're doubling coupons though.

I knew there was a reason I should have asked my DH to leave me the car today!:oops:

I called the very coupon friendly KM about an hour away (12804 zip) and asked if they were doubling this week. The CSM said "Nope. Not for the rest of the year."

BUT - Now with the confusion over the cards and what not, I'm wondering if I should drive all that way, just to check.

Any guesses as to if the card means you can automatically double at stores which regularly do not?:shrug7:

I signed up on the kmart website a long time ago, even though no stores in my area were on the list, so I was suprised to be able to use it yesterday. I did use coupons and none of them doubled for me.

No. I even asked if the card was for access to doubles and she told me it was to have coupons e-mailed, special sweepstakes and something about 1% cash back. She said they were told doubles were a thing of the past. :shrug7:

I just signed up and it is giving Double Reward Card Points on certain items. NOT double coupons.

At my store in Adrian, MI they are doing the doubles with the card. Make sure they scan the card first (or your coupons won't double) There is a limit of 5 coupons per customer per day. At my store they are doing this until Dec 19th.

:smile:Those of you who love to double coupon the Big K stores, it does save $. When doubling is not available, There are competitive stores that do sell for lower prices. Using a good single coupon may save just as many $ on such items because the prices are lower to start with. This would be a good challenge to try. :BigHand:

After reading all the posts about doubling with the rewards card, I asked about it at mine today and she said they are not doubling. Don't know if this is true or not, but she said they rec'd a memo/e-mail from K-Mart corporate stating that doubles will most likely not be happening again and there is to be no doubling of coupons at individual stores. :sad::shrug7:

For any of you that think your stores dont double, go check it out anyway .. they may not be aware.. the registers are programmed to only take 5 per transaction when you use this reward card.

I live in MI also and my store is doubling (only 5 per transaction with the Shop Your Way Rewards card)... I emailed customer service and was told at this time, ONLY MI stores are doubling... and the promotion goes through mid-December... HTH

You have to be careful and watch your receipts.. When you use the card the register will only accept 5 coupons. I knew 5 would only double but I needed something else and had a coupon also. It would not take the 6th coupon. I had to return the item and have it rang separately. (which actually was even better for me, because then it doubled.)

It is a lot quicker to sign up in-store - they give the card right then =D

The sign up online does not mention doubling but I've been several times now (in MI) and the register DOES double 5 coupons per transaction, after which it will not.

I've seen a list of stores that have the card and OH isn't on the list but my OH store does have the card so I think the list is old or wrong. I have been scouring the internet and haven't heard any other state besides Michigan that is doubling. I'm assuming the doubling experiment is running first in Michigan and then will be rolled out to other states. Although when one does "assume" it can make an "ass" out of "u" and "me". :rolleyes24:

I don't know if you will. :shrug7:I was shopping at the Kmart on Plainfield today and the manager said today was the last day for the doubles-not Dec. 19th.:sad: The manager told me, "Too many people were abusing the double coupons. People are coming in 12 times a day and are getting mad when we tell them we saw them before and they cannot use it."
I don't understand, the shelves wern't cleared out or anything. It wasn't like the other doubles before where the shelves were empty. What did they expect?

well if your looking for rumors my neighbors son is a cashier at kmart and he says they are done with doubles, they will be lucky to still be open in the coming months of the new year.
