ok so i guess i'm going to try bloom since ht isn't doing sd's again this week. is there anything i need to know about bloom's coupon policy? Is it pretty much the same as ht? I heard they did overages so that is a plus but do they have a 20 limit? do i need a card? do they take interent q's?

Thanks

It's pretty much the same policy as HT. 20 coupons per transaction per day, you do need to get a breeze card and so far I have never had any issues with IP's although it all depends on which Bloom you go to, I've read posts of people complaining about their Blooms only accepting 2 per transaction but it all depends on the cashier.

One nice difference between HT and Bloom is that with Bloom you can use as many identical coupons as you want.

i have never shopped at bloom. any good deals for doubles? any matchups for ad?

its hard to do match ups for bloom b/c a lot of the good deals are unadvertised specials and they don't have prices online like HT.

Stalk the deal sites and local mommies boards tomorrow afternoon to see what people are finding or head out with all your coupons and hunt down the deals...

bloom also gives overages...

Ad is up and Lake Norman/Charlotte area is having Super Doubles. That does typically include Fort Mill area, but you should be able to check your ad on the Bloom website by now.

I have a hard time finding great deals when Bloom has these events. I take a ton of coupons that I think might be worthwhile, and I end up buying 2 or 3 things after I check prices and such in store. :hectic1:

Last time they had it, it was not in the ad but they had a special ad in the Friday paper so maybe they will do that this time (hopefully).

YEEEES....!
ignore the threads that say Bloom Triples in "upstate S.C."
York County is not part of upstate south carolina for some reason. WE are a part of the Charlotte area when it comes to coupons.

Hampton Roads ad specifically states no overage. There didn't appear to be any great coupon deals in the ad so i'll have to find time to just wander the aisles.

Wonder if Farm Fresh will respond?

Thanks for the heads up... and I repped ya for the info. too :) I just got back I spent 15.15 and saved 74.58!!! The manager rung me up and he was nice...I even got a Bloom card. There were a few couponers there when I went. I saw binders galore, lol. Overall experience was nice compared to the scrutiny that we couponers face at HT. I will be doing Bloom alot more...

That's great! What good deals did you find? I'm looking through my coupons, but without online prices I have to go and see what I can match up when I'm at the store. :thanks7:

Bloom is great when the ads match up to the coupons that are out. I think i like triples better only because the variety of the stuff you can get. I might run back over to blooms today but i have really just ran out of places to stick stuff.

So glad Blooms finally did something in Hampton Roads, we have not had triples since the spring, so Super Doubles was great. I went Friday original cost was $69.05, I spent $25.07. Great deal on Oscar Myer Bacon, they are BOGO at $5.49 a piece and a coupon for 1.50 off 2, doubles to 3.00 off of 2, so that makes it 1.25 per pack of bacon! Also great deals on Dove Shampoo and Conditioner, and Franks Wing Sauce.

Back again today (Monday) original cost $50.81, I paid $18.51.
Just some of what I found today:

Hormel Entrees 7.49 BOGO 3.75 = 2.00 1.75
Reach Dental Floss 1.49 - 2.00 was free (no overage)
Herbal Essance Shampoo 3.33 - 2.00 =1.33
Pep. Farm Cookies 3.29 - 2.00 = 1.29
Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Cookies 2/5 (2.50 each - 2.00 = .50
Yoplait Delights 2.79 - 2.00 = .79
Crush 2 Lister Soda on sale 3/4 = 1.25 each, coupon 1.00 off 2 doubles to 2.00 off 2 so 2.50-2.00 = .50 for 2 two liters!
Lysol Wipes - 3.05-2.00 = 1.05
