Well, slim pickings this week. Do not really need Advil or Robitussin...

J&J deal, if you have a RC for Aussie (from a few weeks back when it was on a 3-day sale $2.99, get 2 ECB), there is a $2/2 mq (I think it expires 10/31/09), that will help getting to $25.

Dry Idea, GDA, $0.50/1 (ekoury)
Total: $0.50/1
Sale: 2/$5
MQ: $2 IP
ECB: 0
Math: $2.50 - 2 IP = $0.50

I am still hoping for some diaper deal or at least some baby deal with ECB. I believe the last one was in July/early August. It is time for them to have a deal on diapers with ECB...

Unfortunately, the Glade deal is limit 1, so you'll only get 1 $6.99 ECB.

I was just saying this qualifies for the SCJ MIR. hold on to your receipt til you buy 2 other qualifying items

spend $20 get $10ecb on advil($4.50) robotussin/dimatapp ($5.50) chapstick($1.50) Centrum Ultra ($10) products limit 1

This could be good if you got the 2.50/$10 pain reliever purchase (and if the IPs are still available):
2 x advil PM: $9
2 x robitussin/dimetapp: $11
-2 x $2/1 advil PM IP
-2 x $2/1 robitussin or dimetapp IP
-$2.50/10 pain reliever CRT
= 9.50, get back 10 EB

If you threw in the glade, you could use $5/25 too.

I dont know either. Maybe it means you cant use any other coupons with it (like say a bogo or something silly like that) or maybe you cant combine it with any kind of rebate. If you use their coupon maybe you cant get their rebate? :shrug7: I dont think I have ever seen that wording before.

for the candy deal i think the Reeses pb pumpkins are a .05 MM ea if you have enough coupons to get to $20 that may just be suicide LOL

40 Reese PB Pumpkins 20 B1G1F 20 .55/1 = 40 free candies $5 ECB and $1 MM

is that right?

coupons used :

B1G1F Reese

also trident layers are $1 - .75/1 IP = .25/pk gum

I'm not currently looking at the ad, but for the BOGO Reeses, I'm pretty sure that the free one does not count towards the total. So you would prob need 40 reeses and 40 coupons. (I'm assuming that the BOGO is CVS sale and not a coupon?)

IDK if the BOGO cpn will work, it has a size requirement - 1.5oz, and I think the pumpkins are less than that. I'm going tomorrow, so I have a note to double check the size.

I think you can still take the Flu Quiz @ cvs.com for a $5/$25 coupon.
When you go to cvs.com, there is a box that changes ads on the home page, click on the one for the flu shot and another page will open. Then click on take quiz.

I know with the Neosporin Lip Care $3 MQ....it beeped and had to be adjusted down at 3 different CVS stores I went to....even though I had overage.

My favorite use of the $3/2 J&J Blinkie is at Publix on the Travel Sized Band-Aid package. It's .79 at my Publix so two make 1.58. So it's $1.42 overage. Needless to say I can start my own hospital soon with all the J&J products.

The Blinkie machines carrying the J&J $3/2 all disappeared very quickly from both of my Publix stores....glad I got them while they were there....guess I just expected them to be there longer tho. Anyway, my Publix is well stocked on the Band Aid travel size thankfully.

Be sure to get there early in the week as many FAECB (free after ecb) items are gone by Monday at my stores. Also, they've been picked clean of Neosporin Lip care for some time. Well, I did my first run to CVS today and I think I did not to bad. I didn't do the Glade diffuser yet cause I realized that I would not get the ECB cause I think after further reading that I won't get the sale price until this coming Sunday for the ECB either cause those are only Sunday through Tuesday's? Am I correct on that? I waited to checked back here. If someone could tell me that I was right on waiting I would appreciate it.

What I did get was B1G1 on the Revlon Make-up - I needed Eyeliner,
$7.49 ea. and had $1/1 q (2) of them.
Lubriderm Lotion Sale $6.99 and had $3/1, $2/1 and $1/1 q.
Neosporin Sale (2) at $2.89 and had $3/1 q (2) of them
Also had $3/$15 CVS q.

My oop was $3.48 for items that cost $35.78.

I was pretty pleased with the outcome. So just to be sure, the only days to get the ECB's are on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays?

Thanks for any and all answers and OMG I had so much fun just with those few items and can't wait to go back. Looking to do the Northern and the other Glade items and a couple of other items. What fun. LOL:BigHand::thanks7:

Well, I did my first run to CVS today and I think I did not to bad. I didn't do the Glade diffuser yet cause I realized that I would not get the ECB cause I think after further reading that I won't get the sale price until this coming Sunday for the ECB either cause those are only Sunday through Tuesday's? Am I correct on that? I waited to checked back here. If someone could tell me that I was right on waiting I would appreciate it.

I believe you are confused. First of all, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are not the only days to get ECB unless an item is on a 3-day sale. You can get ECB for the weekly sale during that week all day long no matter what day of the week it is. Secondly, reed diffuser and candles are not on the 3-day sale next week (not this week.) Thirdly, you can get Sunday's deals on Saturday if your CVS switches early. Call and ask them. HTH

Also, I can see you are a newbie... The thread you posted in is for the week of 10/18/09. It is only for deals for that week. I am going to make my first attempt to go to CVS and use some coupons and try to earn some ECB's. I never really kept them before, my husband always did. So here I go. I am going to try the Glade diffuser for $6.99 and I do have the mq for $3/$1 and I am going to try the Neosporin with the $3 q and the other Glade Sense and Spray offer as well. I also have some q's for Revlon and they have bogo and I do need to makeup. I'm anxious to see how I do for my first try. Will also be my first day to the grocery store but that's another thread. LOL

Thanks for all the great tips and tricks everybody :BigHand::thanks7:

Just got back from a trip here in Northern California, and I can confirm that we didn't get the glade candle/diffuser deal.

In fact, we're missing that entire page of the ad. We have many of the same products and prices, but it's in one of those half-page wrap-arounds. The differences between the page in the scan and the wraparound are:

- no glade candle/diffuser
- no glade sense and spray
- no fresh step
- lysol is 2/$5 instead of 2/$6

I tried scanning the glade diffuser and it's ringing up full price at $9.99 here. Hopefully we'll get this deal next week or so. Hope this helps!

FLU quiz coupon - it would not work here if you took it again. I had my daughter take it on my computer (it beeped at store) then she took it on her laptop on our wireless. Didnt work.
When I took to the store it beeped and said it was redeemed on such and such date and was not valid. So it goes off ip address.

There are at least three different links that produce three different barcodes. You can do them once per computer. And you can use the same barcode on different cards. For example, I used my barcode ending in 3343 on my card and my dh's card.

Here in So. CA our ad is really different too. The lysol (2/$5) and freshstep are on the wrap around but the Glade Fragrance Collection (6.99 with 6.99 ECB) is on page 7 of the flyer in a weird spot. Instead of in the middle like the scan, it is on the right (small space) on the page with "As Seen on TV" stuff with the "Snuggie" having the big spot in the middle.

I think they were .89 and the second is .45 so you pay .45 for 2 and if you had a bunch of coupons you could get 30 and use 15 coupons and your total would be 6.75 after your b1g1f coupons and your actual total for running candy total would be 20.10 so you would get your ecb. There are still a few more on ebay I got about 20 for 3.00

You can find prices on cvs.com, but they may not match exactly with the prices in the store. Keep in mind that if you buy more than 1 Revlon item to reach $15 you will be able to use more than 1 coupon.

I see a lot of people saying this week isn't great, and based on the products I'd have to agree. HOWEVER - I rolled a 10 ECB into 17 for next week with only $1 oop.

$6.99 Glade reed thing
$4.50 Advil PM
$4.50 Advil PM
$4.50 Advil PM
$5.50 Robitussin
$1.50 chapstick

total: $27.49
5/25 flu
10 ECB
$2 advil IP
$2 advil IP
$2 advil IP
$2 robitussin IP
$3.50 glade IP (but also had the one from the newspaper for $3 in case)

new total: $0.99 (plus tax because the cashier INSISTED that she had to scan my MQs before the flu Q and ECB.. they are getting smart at my store...dang!)

Got 10 ECB from advil and 7 ECB from Glade.

Thx for taking the time to post this for me and anyone else that needed help with this....Bless You! ;)

ETA: I did this deal yesterday to the T and wanted to let you know it didn't produce the $10 Q for the movie. She said it was because I used q's and didn't really pay 'said amt' for them. But, I figured it was because of the Free styler. Which would've made it $23.00 before q's instead of $26.00 (or $25 like ad says it needs to be), but she went ahead and forced the Q for me! YAY!! :BigHand:

Thx again for your help, not trying to step on your toes...just a heads up.

I thought my plan was debunked when I got to the store but I was able to luck out this week on the sense and sprays. Seem that when I went to buy the the 5 Sense and Sprays the shelf was empty. Now I was upset my plan was going to need revising. But as I was gathering my other items I noticed a familiar box. It seems as if someone hid the glade all over the store so they could rack up the deal later.

I guess it was my own little easter egg hunt.:BigHand:

DO they carry any WOnka candy, and is it included in the halloween candy sale? If so, anyone know the price?

My store had wonka candy but it was a variety bag. I believe it was $5 for the bag (I don't remember the size, sorry). And yes it was included in the halloween candy sale.

good for you! I hate when people do that:)

I actually saw somebody doing this. I casually followed her around the store to see what and where she was hiding things. She didn't even make a purchase. She just walked out of the store like nothing. I told my fav cashier what she had done. He didn't seem to care much but promised me that he would keep an eye on her next time she went in as she is a regular there.

I haven't seen her again but all of a sudden I'm finding I'm able to do the deals I want without rainchecks :)

GDA - If your CVS accepts competitor q's, you can use your Rite Aid Nexxus coupons for $4 off Dualiste Color Protection Shampoo or Conditioner and get the $10 EB back......If it totals at least $20, you can get two bottles for $2.

boo...I went and did my first transaction today and thought my total didn't come out right (it was $5 something and I was expecting just over $1 tops)...I thought I'd done my math wrong but instead the bic soleil razors I picked up didn't take 50% off. They are supposed to right? Well, I guess when I go in tomorrow I'll have to get that straightened out. :(

Anyhoo...here's what I figured out to get my oop lowered..

Glade Reed Diffuser-6.99
Glade Sense n' spray-5
Bic disposable razors-$2
Bic soleil razors-$6.69 (but were supposed to be $3.35!!)
Revlon item-7.99
-5/25 cvs coupon
-$7 ecb
-various coupons
total: 5.43, but should have been less! rawr!
+6.99 ecb back

tomorrow I'll be doing
revlon item 7.99 (or 7.50 if I can find something for that)
Free chocolate (received and email for this)
-6.99 ecb
total: around $1 + 7 ecb back

CVS has new printable coupons on their site for Glade Sense and Spray and Glade Lasting Impressions. They are both $3.00/1 coupons. They are CVS coupons and not manufacturer coupons. Today I went to the store with my $3.00/1 CVS IP and $3.00/1 manufacturer coupon from a home mailer for the Glade Lasting Impressions. I gave both coupons to the cashier thinking I should get it for free because one was a CVS coupon and one was a manufacturer coupon. She told me she couldn't accept both coupons because they totalled more than the cost of the item. Is this true? I asked her if she could adjust the cost of the item or the value of the coupon and she said she couldn't. Has anyone else had this happen? Does CVS ever give overage or free items when the value of the coupons is more than the cost of the items? They were out of Sense and Spray, so I have a rain check for that.

If you can do it, here's the deal:
Glade Lasting Impressions
Total: Free or $1.00 overage
Sale: 2/$10
MQ: $3.00/1 home mailer
CVS Q: $3.00/1 ip
ECB: 0
Math: $5-$3-$3=-$1

Glade Sense and Spray
Total: Free or $2.00 overage
Sale: 2/$10
MQ: $4.00/1 home mailer (I think there are others in the database)
CVS Q: $3.00/1 ip
ECB: 0
Math: $5-$4-$3=-$2

Let me know if anyone tries this and it works for them! I think I'll go to a different CVS and try tomorrow.

Even though it says CVS Pharmacy coupon, it starts with 5, which is manufacturer's coupon. It might be a mq that can be redeemed only at CVS. Opinions?

She didn't tell me I couldn't use both coupons because they were both manufacturer coupons, but because they were over the value of the item. But you may be right, it may not have worked for her because they were both manufacturer coupons.

That is very YMMV. Some allow overage, most do not.

I've been looking thru the postings and I can't find this topic....are the Nestle $2/1 coupons able to be used on the candy deal this week?

Overage would be nice, but will they not give it to you free? Do they not adjust the coupon or the item price? I guess I'm so used to getting overage at Target that I'm surprised when I dont. :)

Sorry if this has already been posted. I searched through a couple of pages and didn't see it.

The Glade Fabric and Air Odor Eliminator is 2/$6.

Couldn't you use the 2.00/1 any Fabric and Air Odor Eliminator peelie on the one you are ''buying'' and then use the B1G1 Fabric and Air Odor Eliminator mq? I know this depends on the store.(My store allows this)

Thus, getting 2 for $1.00?

Sorry, it's 1 a.m. for me and I'm only half thinking!
I've had the peelie forever and I have no clue where the coupon came from. I clip all mine and never remember where/what they are from.

I hadn't shopped yet this week and was just looking through the ad and seen it on sale. I use this stuff all the time.
