I was at my store this morning and spoke with one of the workers in the frozen food department about them changing the price of the veggies this week. She was very upset about the change too (I guess a lot of people have been giving her a hard time about it). She said that she had called corporate and was told that the birdseye veggies will be on sale again in 2 weeks :BigHand: but, the green giant were on sale this week. She suggested I call corporate to complain because they kinda blew her off.
So, I called corporate (412-963-6200) and complained about them changing the posted price. I am expecting a call back but, not expecting much (last time I complained about the fuze price being raised, they told me that I could come in to my local store and they would honor the price for ME - that doesn't really solve the problem IMO).
So, if anyone else wants to call and complain, it might stop them from doing this kind of thing again.
While I was on the phone, I also mentioned how much I hated the new yellow tags and ad. I also mentioned how disappointed I was that the steeler bucks only printed 1 per order no matter how many sets of 5 you bought. Went into detail about how much extra work it was for customer service to rescan items and how much extra work it was for the cashiers to ring up separate orders for us and how much I hated holding up the line. Apparently, they are working on the steeler buck issue (I know this doesn't affect Ohio, MD or WV stores but, figured it couldn't hurt to mention that too:giggle2:)
