I agree, however, lately I haven't found much to write home about at Kroger. The deals seem to have slowed down a lot in the last month. I'm sure that's why the forum is dead too. That and because we don't have a mod currently. I'm sure as the deals pick up the forum will too.

This month has been slow for me at every store so maybe it's the same for everyone else?? I'm eating up the stockpile to make room for the holiday baking sales.

I haven't found any mega deals lately so I kinda slacked down with the shopping. Just buying what I need and not stockpiling. I had to throw away some expired Hamburger Helper and Betty Crocker cookie mix. I don't think I had them that long but the ones I picked up must have been close to the expiration date.

I'm in the Mid-Atlantic region but our deals seem to be the same every week so I bounce back and forth. I don't have access to the ads early so I can't help out in that way.

I have noticed the sales have been kinda yuck lately....I was able to stock up on the totinos pizza rolls for .29 a box last week, which was good for me...This week I'm going for the steamers and campbells soups.

I miss the sales at Kroger being awesome. Publix on the other hand, is incredible with all the freebies :giggle2:

You are NOT lying!!!!!!! :hysterical: Aside from the close to free Loreal make-up when they were b1g1 I haven't stepped foot in a Kroger in FOREVER it seems until last week when I got free/wyb 1 produce item Hormel Always Tender roasts!!!!!!! Kroger needs to take some lessons from Publix!!! :BigHand: More B1G1 sales!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about the forum :( our ads (cincinnati) have slowed too. We had an ok 10/10 last week. The mega event is pretty bag this week. Nothing even to mention :-O

I really think it's dead because the deals aren't there. When the deals pick up so will the forum, with or without a mod. However, I agree a mod sure would be nice.

Yep- I agree that the kroger sales have been lacking lately! Nothing worth mentioning, I keep checking back here every mon and thursday tho- hoping someone else has found something:)

When I don't go to Krogers much, I do get LOTS of cats when I checkout (kinda like they missed me). Cats get sent to the SIL in the Louisville district.

Without a MOD, it is also difficult to clean up the thread (old, expired stickys, old expired threads that don't say 'dead deal' etc), so it is difficult to FIND the latest info. I've said it before and I'll say it again, EVERY thread needs folks that are dedicated to it, to post their deals, the ad, etc. Without it, there's not much participation (and you feel [or at least I do] like you are posting to yourself).

I usually post the Publix ad EVERY week, but that takes 90 minutes a week to do.

Midatlantic is pretty quiet too - but having been a Mod before I'll let you know, it's a loooooooot of work so if one of you is considering it, just be sure you have the time to give it your all :)

TN Native is right - it's a lot of clean-up and upkeep aside from the weekly deals :)
