My Mom tried to use some IPs I'd printed for her today, and she was told they no longer accept them, at all. This was at the Kroger across from New Hope Commons, on 15-501 near I-40. Is this a new company policy, and/or do individual store managers have the authority to refuse ALL IPs?

My Mom is not the type to complain, so this was most likely a cashier refusing to take them. I'm trying to figure out if this was just a cashier in a crappy mood, or a radical policy change.

If so their website has not been updated.

EDIT: I got some more info from her, she said there was actually a notice on the cash register saying that as of such-and-such a date, Kroger no longer accepts coupons printed at home. Any thoughts?

CRAP! That's one of the 2 Krogers I bounce between (though I've been going to the other one the last few weeks). Shoot, I'll have to call ahead of time tomorrow and ask the other one (it's on MLK and Roxboro in the Hope valley Farms area) to see if they've adopted the same policy. I know the one in NW Durham on Hillsborough won't take them either. I taught a couponing class at a church function 2 weeks ago, only to have a few ladies report that their IP coupons were not accepted at that Kroger. Bummer!

okay, just called the store you were talking about and the CSR said that they do take most mfg IPs, just not certain ones. I didn't ask for details, but I'm thinking they won't take the "get 1 free" IPs... ??

My email that Kroger sends me each and every Sunday morning with the link for the ad has a PRINTABLE Q link from their own Kroger website.

Why would they (Krogers) advertise (via email) and then not take the Qs that they advertise?

As of yesterday, mine took my qs. As long as they scan, they should take them. I shop the Nornpoint Dr. Kroger off Guess Rd. I've never had them refuse any of mine and they always take as many as I give. I never have a problem using more than 3 like qs like I do at HT. What a blessing.
