Did your mid-week ad say to look for them on Sunday? Ours did. I will be really ticked if there's no doubles here, since I ordered a bunch of coupons to go with them. I guess it's a waiting game now.

What paper was that?
Might be another case of them printing them in section A of the Sunday editions but not the early editions.

Grants Pass Daily Courier weekend edition, we get it on saturday as we have no sunday edition. The bottom of the slick 1 page ad lists tons of newspapers that will carry the sheet.

Maybe there are too many people trying to use them on Saturdays when they are in the early editions? I guess we'll figure this out tomorrow.

Thanks for the preview, Superbob!!!

Hmm... there's not much that I'll be buying this week. Quaker granola bars, Captn Crunch cereal, 7up, a few boxes of Tuna Helpers (I need to use up some of those tuna pouches that were around .05/ea a few months ago) ... I think that's it, but it could change after I start looking for coupon matchups.

We have a crazy busy week coming up, so I'm actually ok with a slow sales week (Wags, Rite Aid, & Freddy's ads don't interest me either).

Actually, if there are doulbers on Sunday there is a better deal on the Log Cabin Syrup. It's on the Buy $10, save $3 instantly sale.

2.50 each, 1.75 after $3 instant savings (7.00)
use 4 .55/1 hangtag mq's (7.00 - 2.20= 4.80)
(assuming there are doublers on Sunday) use 3 doublers (4.80- 1.65= 3.15)

That would be 3.15 for 4 bottles and IMHO a much better syrup.

FYI Walgreen's will have this cheaper on the week on 10-11. They are on sale for 2/$5.00 and when you spend $10.00 you get $5.00RR.

Here is the math:

2/$5.00= $2.50 each x 4= $10.00
$10.00 - (i only have $1.00/2 coupons) $2.00
=$8.00-$5.00RR=$3.00
or $.75 each
and if you have EBT or food stamps you can use food stamps for the whole amout and the RR on anything else

The $3/5 Quaker coupons expire 10/31 so if you can't shop early (Wed. or Thur.) get a RC and then have the store order the quantity you want and pick up at a later date. My store really loves when I do this so I'm not clearing the shelves at the beginning of a sale! I plan to stock up on syrup, breakfast cookies, To Go bars, cereal and granola bars! I wish they had the cereal bars included this time!

$1 items wyb 10 will be $.40each after $3/5 coupons
$1.50 items wyb 10 will be $.90 each after $3/5 coupons

I'm so glad I found tons of these again this year!!! To the PP who asked about the Quaker rebate, I haven't heard of one yet. But maybe just hold onto your receipt and the UPC's just in case one surfaces in the future!

This didn't work out for me. My store only had 2 boxes that had the coupons in them. Also, the Life coupon is $1/2 not off of 1. I hope they will run doubles again this weekend, then it would be free.

Found new packaging for the Maple and Brown Sugar. It has 2 free extra packets of oatmeal in it. So you get 12 packets instead of 10. There is a yellow triangle announcing this in the upper left hand corner of the box if you want to look for these.

S&W beans are onsale at Haggen this week - 20 for $10.

Here's the deal I was out chasing, besides the quaker...

The clorox wipes are $1.75 when you buy 4.

There was a tear pad I found at Fred Meyer - $1.50 off any clorox product when you buy the wipes (it was near the shopping cart wipe display where you can get the wipes to wipe down the cart).

So in the Albertsons sale, I'm buying the wipes, and then getting bleach with the coupon, which is on sale for $1.69. Makes both items combined $1.94. And then at Albertsons had a coupon in front of the wipes - buy 2 wipes, get one free. So I got 6 packs of wipes and 4 gallons of bleach for $7.76 after coupons.

I printed the quaker $1/2 coupon before it got yanked off their site, so using those up to get .50c boxes of granola bars. Wishing I had Life coupons, but I went ahead and bought some at $1 a box - even though that's basically against my religion!

I read on another forum that it is the syrups triggering the catalina.

I went yesterday and checked my receipt when I got home. Some of the Zatarain's and Sargento Salad Finishers didn't ring up right. Anyone else have this problem? It cost me about $10.00. :(

Apparently this is a recent change with Albertsons - especially here and MT.

I am the Area Satisfaction Manager for the Idaho / E. Montana stores and have received your inquiry/comments from our Customer Interaction Center. I will be happy to answer your question and hopefully resolve any satisfaction issues you may have.
In this scenario, given the details listed below, once the manufacturer coupons redemption guidelines had been fulfilled (two cans of cooking soups to qualify for the $1 off 2 units) and there were no other exclusions such as “do not double/do not combine with any other offer/etc.” we would be able to accept our Twice the Value coupon.
As long as those manufacturer guidelines had been met, we would “double” the .99 cents bringing your total to $0.00. As OR does not have sales tax, you would get the item for “free”. In Idaho we are required to collect sales tax so that would have been added onto your purchase.

Thanks for coming online and offering that clarification. We're always appreciative of store management getting involved in our forums because it helps clear up issues before customers hit the checkout. And anything that makes transactions go smoother is great for all of us! We're glad you found the site and would encourage you to stick around and participate here!

Update on the clorox deal....

There were .75c/1 on the packages of wipes themselves, making them $1 each when you buy 4. And then with the tearpad for $1.50 off another clorox item wyb the wipes, the wipes and the bleach were $1.19 for both!!!

Needless to say, I have more shopping to do this weekend!

I've also seen this as a brochure (expired) that none of the stores have bothered to take down, so every store I've been to has honored the coupon (and then promptly taken it down!!!). I thought I would be pushing my luck to use that one too in addition to the .75c off each one, the $1.50 on the bleach...

"um yeah, and btw, for each of the 2 I bought, you owe me 4 more free ones with this expired coupon you haven't bothered to take down off your shelf"....I'm sure that would have caused my store manager to have heart palpitations.

It would be funny to see his face. My store has forgotten to take down a few coupons lately.

These were from Feb 09 - and it was at like 4 stores??? I wasn't complaining though - I've gotten about 6 frees so far:whistle67:

I need to say that the excerpt from the e-mail at albertsons was not to me. I came across it recently (9/19) on another site - I don't think I can post a link here to it, so just excerpted it.

But the converstation went on to say that cashiers were being told to look for the do not double on the coupons.

Nope...there's a small Albies ad in the front section with a $10/$50, good through Tuesday, and of course it's got the usual restrictions - to be used after store and manufacturers qs.

Is this the PDX version? Hopefully if its not that means that maybe we get the doublers this week since we got the 10 off of 50 last week???

Well...we can hope can't we!:giggle2:

On the spend $10 get $3 off, has anyone tried the Welch's refrigerator 100% juice??--I think it exists.
The ad says juice cocktail, but I'ld rather get the 100% juice variety.

The propel water is still on sale from last week - .50c a bottle. I had a bunch of .55 off 1 coupons - so 20 free bottles and the extra nickel covered the bottle deposit.

Also got 16 bottles of infusium, 10 quaker items, 3 packs of yeast and a couple other things for $35 - saved $165, plus got another $1.50 in OYNO from the yeast.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but is the $3 off wyb $10 taking off multiple discounts wyb 20, 30, etc?

I am actually thinking of doing the $10/50 coupon but only if I can do multiple batches of those sale items. I haven't done any shopping yet and with this additional discount 20% discount after the other discounts, there are some awesome prices. Sugar would be 1.12 among other things.

Yes it does take of multiples if you buy more than one set of items:smile:

I don't remember seeing anything about a cat that I got on Sat - $3 onyo "Plan & Save for Cold & Flu Season" compliments of the Dial Corp, Kimberly-Clark, Johnson & Johnson. I bought syrup (10), granola bars (10), clorox wipes(6), welch's jelly(2), ronzoni pasta (10), bananas and potatoes. Anyone know what may have triggered this? Or maybe it was just left over from the previous customer and my cashier saw me eagle-eyeing that machine for my $2 syrup onyo and figured he'd best not try to ignore it again!!

I'm pretty sure the Clorox Wipes are/were part of the promo... Buy 3 get $3 OYNO. I got some Kleenex & I *think* Saturday was the last day for that OYNO.

Is this it? $3 OYNO WYB $10 Dial, Kleenex, Tylenol 10/9/09 - 10/24/09 Link (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/albertsons-catalina-deals/280230-3-oyno-wyb-10-dial-kleenex-tylenol-10-9-09-10-24-09-a.html)
If so you need to get $10 worth, I'm thinking 4 Clorox wipes? Anyone tried it? The participating items list is a tad vague.

My first post, though I've lurked for awhile. I love this site!

I did a run of 4 Clorox wipes today @ $2.50 ea. Used a $2.50/4 q that I had. It gave me the $3 acosta savings (wyb $10) & printed $3 oyno catalina!
