I'm sure most of you saw this or heard it. I heard it but only read it in the new paypal policy.
Beginning June 3, 2009 PayPal user agreement is being amended as follows:
1. Section 4.2 of the user agreement will read as follows:
“4.2 Receiving Payments for Personal Transactions.
A personal transaction involves
>>>>>>>> sending money to, and receiving money from, friends and family without making a purchase <<<<<<<<<<<
>>>>>>>> If you are selling goods or services (((((is clipping of coupons a service?))))) you may not ask the buyer to send you a personal payment for the purchase. <<<<<<<
>>>>>>>>> If you do so, PayPal may remove your ability to accept personal payments.<<<<<<<<<<
I no longer trade-buy-sell coupons for paypal handling fees. The handling of coupons and the clipping of coupons appears to be a service.
THAT said, I prefer to associate with members who are in the gift giving mood, >>>> they give me coupons and I give them a small thank you in paypal, or the reverse. <<<< When you and I engage in conversation about a gift of some kind, I'll remind you of Paypal's policy and thanks to those who who have sent me gifts like coupons and I hope you made good use of my "thank you". Any questions about this, as it might pertain to you and me going forward please let me know. I hope to get alot of gifts in the future to save on my food cost. Maybe my thank you's are of benefit to you. PLEASE spread the word. And please keep looking for my ISO threads.
