Hannaford What items have great shelf prices that match up with coupons that come out regularly?

I have 2 Hannafords that I can shop, but since they are further away, I rarely do.

I will now be near one of them 2 nights a week so I need to get some good tips!

Every store has those things that have a great shelf price and each time coupons come out, the products are free or cheap. I would love to know what those things are, and what deals you are getting right now.

I think over all the prices are cheaper at Hannaford than Shaws if there are things you need because you're out. The blinkies can be different or have different values than Shaws so it's worth checking while your there. I sometimes find different beer rebates than Shaws. I can't think of anything specific that they have cheap or free with coupons.

They have the Muir Glen tomato sauce for .99 so when the Muir Glen $1/1 come out, you get free sauce. The cashiers at my Hannaford don't seem to know how to adjust down a coupon though, so some have refused to let me use the coupon on the .99 sauce. I need to ask the manager about that...

There is a deal going on until Oct. 31st. You get a $1 cat to use OYNO for every 4 Hannaford brand items you buy as long as they are not weighed by the pound ( most produce & Meats.) I also found some $1 pork coupons in the meat dept at 2 Hannafords.

I live in Maine and the canned Hannaford Veggies are pretty cheap.. With the 1.00 of four Hannaford brands they are really a good deal..

I picked up some Hanaford brand yogurt that was only $.35 each not even realizing the CAT deal and got a $2 coupon for next shopping trip. So you can score pretty good if you want to stock up on yogurt. And BTW, I noticed they had both the 6 oz and 4 oz listed for that price, so choose wisely to get the larger container... HTH!

I got quite a few cans of cat food with this deal. they are .33 each! $1.40 for 4 with tax.

Will try to get some yogurt today! I will hopefully become a better hannaford shopper myself, but in the meantime, everyone please post your deals LOL

You can also find the Marcal paper towels there when the free coupons come out. My Hannaford now only lets you use 1 of these coupons per customer (No you can't go through the line 8 times either ;-(

I have been able to buy several Marcal PTs at a time. I think it all depends on your cashier - at least in my area. I also pick them up when I am buying a fair number of items anyway. My experience has been that they check more closely if you go in to get the free items only. JMHO, tho!

Time for the GS troop to take a trip to the store...lol. I normally can use one per person in my party. I actually asked one lady with like 5 kids if she would let me check out with her and her husband in return for free Marcal stuff. Got 8 with 8 coupons and split them evenly.

I saw small containers of Chobani yogurt in the organic section for .99 so with the $1/1 any Chobani coupon=free yogurt! I haven't tried this yogurt yet--hopefully it's good.

It is yummy - try the vanilla!

I only bought the Chobani yogurt because of the coupon, but it is good. I personally like the strawberry and peach flavors. I DID NOT like the honey flavor.
