How would the 3.00 off Almay October IVC coupon work with the BOGO sale? Will it deduct 6.00 since I would be buying 2 items?
*Usually* it takes off the amount for all items. So if you buy 2 it would take off $6 yes. I'm hoping the IVCs still work like that because I saw that Revlon one in there and I want to use it one of the weeks it's BOGO 50%
Thanks for the preview OP! Wags has got to stop with the Glade...I won't even say how many candles and scented oil refills I have now. And gravy knows how many holders are in the closet :nervous7:

THANKS OP! Its nice to be able to plan so far in advance.
Whats the deal on this?
The Escencia has a Try Me Free rebate available. I have seen them on bottles in the store. Since it is BOGO, you would be able to get two bottles and get the rebate back for the full price paid for two, rather than just getting one bottle at regular price. The end result is more product for free. It would even be more awesome if we get a $5/$25 that week. Of course, now I am just being greedy. :giggle2:

Is anyone else having problems printing the Zantac?
I printed it fine on my laptop, but my desktop and the library computers and my friend's computers it keeps erroring out. It's getting rather frusterating... LOL I think it would have been less frusterating had I not been able to print it fine on my laptop... ROFL

This is the big ad. I have noticed that they state that it is the small ad, if that is what it is. When it is the big, or regular ad they just say that it is the Wags ad.
I can't help you with any differences between the big and small ads because I live in a big ad area. :shrug7:

Okay if I buy 2 reese and use on BOGO q can one of the reese count as a filler to use a RR or will they both be used on the bogo?
OKay bear with me I still get confused with Wags stuff since I do it so infrequently and they never have the stuff in stock so I dont generally bother with scenerios.
BUT
Since you should be able to print 2 $5 IPS if you do 2 transactions and get your $9 rrs back for zantac
Then you could do
1 Fusion MVP @ 8.99 - $4 mq = 4.99
3 TheraFlu @ 4.99 = 14.97 - $6 Wags healthy saving q - $6 3x $2/1 mq suppose to be out this sunday = 2.97
1 Chapstick 2.99
1 Vaseline Sheer Lotion 6.99
1 Halloween Pencil .08
= 18.02
-9Rr -9RR both from zantacs
Earns $6 $8 $3 $7

Really? Assuming the blinkie is a manu coupon....what is their reason for not accepting them? They get reimbursed just the same for them so I can't understand why they would have such a policy. I've used blinkies before at RiteAid, CVS and Walgreens...all with no issues.

Good plan...just trans 1 $8.99 - $5.00 = $3.99. So, your total would only be $5.11. Just wanted to point that out because you will have to add something in there to make up for that $1 in order to use the $6 RR.
I'm thinking the Hall's Refresh would be a good thing to put in there, $1 monthly mega saver and there are 75c insert Q's for these, plus I believe they are giving $1 RR. (I need to go check on that to make sure!) Yep, it's a monthly register reward deal $1 and FARR. (Hall's Refresh 20 ct.) There is a 75c/1 coupon from a few wks. ago. 9/27/SS
So, you would then get the $9 for the Zantac and $1 for the Halls!:BigHand:

Thanks for the preview OP! Wags has got to stop with the Glade...I won't even say how many candles and scented oil refills I have now. And gravy knows how many holders are in the closet :nervous7:

Anyone who has a Kroger supermarket (or Kroger family like Ralphs) might want to check their store as my Kroger has the 500mg small bottle on sale BOGO....making each bottle about $4.30 so it ends up being a 70 cent money maker there. Just another usage option if you have the Qs and if your Walgreens doesn't let you use 2 Qs on a BOGO

No that's not true. There is a FAQ for Wags that will tell you how and what qs and RRs you can use on the deals.

Nope, that is not true. If you use a RR from a RR to purchase the same item, it will not print a new one, but regular manu. coupons work just fine. :BigHand:
If you have more questions about RRs, there is a thread about RR FAQs that you might find helpful. Link. (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/walgreens-catalina-deals-register-rewards/43971-walgreens-catalina-register-rewards-faq.html)

I'm not sure about the lysol neutra air but the airwich imotion and freshmatic are both in the $14-$15 range, so $7-$8. There are $6 off coupons for the Imotions so if you have some of those that would be a pretty good deal, However, Walmarts the I-motions on Rollback right now for $6, making them free so I used all my Qs there.

Be careful on the Trident coupon. At my Wags this morning (my "good" one) they told me they "have" to ring in the lower item price ($.71) as the "free" price. (They ring up as $1.29 for the first one and $.71 for the 2nd.) I told that wasn't acceptable as they are advertised as 2 for $2 before the RR. I told her I expected to receive $1 as the free amount.
The manager came over and said that they would try, but that if the computer didn't accept it, I'd have to live with the $.71. I told her I appreciated her being willing to try but that I wanted it voided if they didn't give me the $1 as I wasn't willing to pay anything for something that I should be getting free. She explained to me that it was only $.29. I told her that it didn't matter what it "just" was that I wanted the full amount or didn't want the gum.
The register took the $1 no problem. Still, it was frustrating to have the issue. I saved my other q's & will try them (but watch) at another Walgreens.

ALAMAY, hi guys, theres a lot of posts, so i skimmed and didn't see this..forgive me, if posted :)
I went today and they had some beautiful eyeshadows, and mascara... b1g1 free.(can get other almay products .. mix & match ! )... plus the instore coupons, had a 3 dollar off Q.. so basically it amounts to getting 16 + dollars of cosmetics.. for 5.00.!!
2.50 each, which is a great deal!!:giggle2::BigHand:
Plus the mascara had extra free eyeremover pads.
The manager ok'd that.
I think, but am not sure, there may be some Alamay Q's out there, so it could actually even be a moneymaker!

What I did was bought two of the bright eyes products $8.99 each, B1G1 free sale, used two $1 manu coupons, and the $3 coupon from the Healthy Savings booklet. It takes off $6. I am not sure if it is because I had a few fillers (some awesome clearance deals!) or if it would have worked without the fillers.

Ok, that is SUPER lame of your cashier- it beeps because the system wants the cashier to FILL IN THE VALUE OF THE COUPON ON THE COUPON! Did it twice today & it beeps & they write in the amount of the refill on the coupon & then that is all it needs. Sorry for your troubles!

That is what mine did tonight. :BigHand: No problems. People in the other thread are reporting that the coupon beeps and the register says "Item not found."
I did get an "Item not found" error message when using my Froot Loops coupon tonight, though. I think that the difference may have to do with whether the coupon starts with a 5 or a 9. Fives are fine and nines are a no go. :shrug7:

The cashier had a problem with mine too... She scrutinized the coupon and then told me, you have to buy two items to use this. Duh, she had just scanned two Glade items and put them in the bag (only three items in my whole order) and I guess she immediately forgot what she had just scanned? Anyway, after five minutes or so of pushing buttons she got it to work. Sorry to the people in line behind me!

My coupons beeped as well, but the cashier knew right away that all it needed was a price. She said it comes up "item not found" because the computer isn't sure which item's price needs to come off for the coupon and it needs the cashier to tell it what to do. The funny thing was that the worst part of my order was that she couldn't get a pen to work on that glossy paper to write the coupon amt! She finally ended up getting a Sharpie and writing it.

Here's what I am doing this week.
I originally used the $5/1 IP for Zantac and bought it using a $4 RR from last week.
Now I have a $9 RR.
transaction #1
6.99 Vaseline Sheer Infusions
5.00 2 Glade
0.24 filler (I love the Halloween votives that are on clearance right now)
= $12.23
- $2/2 Glade
- $1/1 Vaseline
- $9 RR
= $.23 plus tax
earn $7 RR and $1 RR
transaction #2
8.99 Zantac
0.24 filler
= $9.23
- 2/1 Zantac (peelie found on the boxes on the shelf)
- $7 RR
= $.23 plus tax
earn $9 RR
Repeat as often as you like. Especially since you are getting an extra $1 RR each time for the Glade.

Also just a note the Glade candle refills that are the 3 pack + 1 bonus were not ringing up on sale or printing the 1.00 catalina. The cashier caught it for me and rang up a regular 4 pack so I could get the sale price and the catalina. I did not notice that it said at the bottom 3 pack + 1 Bonus. Looked like a 4 pack to me.

I've had frustrating times at Walgreens as well and was nearly ready to just give up unless I had a prescription gift card to spend there--however, this past week has been much better.
One thing was that in two different stores I was able to check out at the makeup counter and take time with each transaction.
Another thing was that to combat the getting flustered and forgetting coupons thing, especially since I wanted to do multiple transactions, I created an envelope for each transaction, wrote the transaction on the outside, noted all the coupons that would be needed, the RR's, and put the coupons in the envelope. That way I didn't overlook the in ad coupons or Healthy Savings coupons. I made sure to count the items and coupons in the transaction and write that on the envelope as well.
Then when I did the transaction I checked that the total was same/close to my estimate before paying.
This worked really well for two different trips on last week's ad...until the time I bought the Theraflu on this week's ad. The cashier scanned the IVC first...?does that change things?...so I wound up buying some Halloween pencils I did not think I needed because the system kept insisting I had too many coupons for the items. The manager was called and we finally figured out that I should try to add several items. And then when that transaction was over and I did a different transaction the catalina ran out of paper. Manager had to be called again. I'm guessing they were glad when I was done!
For me, Walgreens is a store where everything has to be "just so" or you don't get the deal you thought you were getting. Creating the deal envelopes really helped me.
After doing the couponing thing the HCW way off and on since early this year, I really prefer CVS's programs to Wags. It is so much easier to do a transaction and use multiple coupons, etc. But every so often Wags has some deals--like this month's--where it is worth working it out to get everything "just so" . :)
And BTW, when one of the catalina's didn't print out because the machine ran out of paper, the manager did a return of the item and a resell to me so the catalina would print out. (I wasn't going anywhere till I got the RR coupon. ;) ).

I did 3 transactions in 2 Walgreens today, and did great. Everything I wanted was in stock, none of my coupons beeped, and the cashiers were nice!:BigHand:
But I did want to warn anybody who is trying to roll RRs that the Hall Refresh and the Trident Layers are from the same company (Cadbury), so don't be surprised if an RR does not print.
Fortunately, I noticed this before I tried using one on the other, so I am good.

Ooh... I see nothing in the coming month of previews at WAGS that I am going to want to spend my RR's on, but this week I am going to have a MM on Pampers. They are $9.99-$1RR=$8.99. I have a $2 MFR coupon which will make it $6.99 and then I have a $8 RR from the Theraflu/Triaminic deal this week so it will make the diapers -$1.01!!!!
I also have a $5 MFR coupon on Enfamil along with the $3 coupon in the ad and 2 more RR totalling $8 so I should be able to get some cheaper formula too.

Yes, I have a nearby store like this too....they typically put up the red tags for the monthly RR deals but the white weekly ones are rare. I actually prefer it this way as they seem to have more stock than the other Wags which is very good about tagging their sale items. I usually shop the non-tag store after the well tagged store so I don't make a mistake and purchase something I think is a RR producing item only to realize I got the size or variety wrong.

My safeway has the 2 blinkies as well. I snagged a bunch went i went shopping on Sunday knowing about the deal. The coupon beeped at WAGS but the cashier overrode it for me saying that I have the coupon it should work. So nice.
A coupon fairy left two of those at my County Market so I had to run back to Wags. THANK YOU whoever you were! I had just dusted HyVee, so glad to know someone else does it round here too! I was shocked that everything was in stock. Full shelves of Zantac. Ended up with Zantacx2, Tridentx6, Glade holderx2, Glade refillx2, Airwick i-motionx1, Quilted northern tpx1, scented candlesx3. Use $10 in RR and paid about $11 OOP, got $22 in RRs back+ an RR for $2/12 pack Cottonelle. Was a very good week for me, I'm starting to feel that old Wags love again :giggle2:

I haven't seen this posted yet, but the Zantac coupon is back on the website. I don't know if it's reset, but if you weren't able to print it out last week {I wasn't}, you can print it out now. If you were able to print it, it never hurts to check again!

On the Triaminic deal (buy 3, get 8 rr back), I bought a "Multi Sympton Fever" in a 4 oz syrup (and two of the "daytime" 4 oz. syrups), the multi symptom fever rang up at 1.79, instead of 4.99; the upc is 30043-6394-040, the box has a pink border at the top & bottom, is bubble gum flavor, so it came out as follows:
Triaminic daytime: 4.99 x 2 + 9.98
Triaminic multi symptom fever: 1.79
-4.50 mqs & -5.79 Healthy saving book Wags q
subtotal 1.48, get 8 RR, 6.52 mm
I used the $3/2 mq & the $1.50/1 mq, then used the $2 off from the Healthy Savings Booklet (it rang up as -5.79, instead of as -6.00 on the earlier deals I had done). The $8 RR did print so it was a 6.52 mm. I had a couple of filler pencils to complete the deal. I didn't have any more of the triaminic q's left so I couldn't tell if this was a fluke at this particular store. (3920 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX ) I noticed the Baytown Tx stores were better stocked with these items this week. (I haven't had much luck finding the Vaseline lotion though....)

I too bought the same one and it didn't come up on sale. So this is a YMMV.

Does anyone know if the Benefiber Orange is included in the sale?
I would also like to know since this would make for some really cheap Benefiber! Anyone know???

Kellogg's Cereal
Total: $.75
SALE: $1.75
MQ: $1/1 Fruit Loops or Apple Jacks Blinkie (found at Safeway and Smith's)
MATH: 1.75-$1/1= $.75
Just in case nobody's posted this; if you have a SuperTarget near you, use the WAGS ad to price match $1.75. Then use the Target IP for $1/2 boxes + $1/1 blinkies to get them for $.25 each. YAY, cheaper cereal!

Haven't checked the price in the store, but from what I'm seeing on the Wags website, it looks like the $9.99 and $10.49 prices are AFTER the BOGO ....they are showing it as 50% off on the website. For the $9.99 item, the regular price is $19.99 and the math would look like this:
2x $19.99= $39.98-$19.99(BOGO)=$19.99-$6MQ-$6MQ=$7.99 for 2 packs.
However, I haven't had my coffee yet, so I could be wrong:whistle67:

Yeah those things are usually like $20-$30 EACH in the stores. I know cause my dad uses that stuff and those $6/1 q's and the BOGO free sales happen all the time.

The Thermaflu website has a $2.00 coupon (as of last night) I printed 6 off and did 2 deals. They are on sale for 4.99 so with the $2.00 coupons and the $2.00 Healthy Savings coupon they are .99 each and you get an $8.00 RR.
I stopped and did a Triaminic deal this morning and the cashier tskd me and said I should only use 1 of the Healthy Savings coupons for 1 item ???? He called me 'young lady'. Ughh - he did this after he saw the $6.00 come off because I bought 3. It's THEIR deal - why do some have to act like I'm ripping them off?

About the Pert Men's deal--To be honest, I didn't try. Since RRs for the same deal don't normally roll at Walgreens, I usually don't even risk it to try.

Okay, it's a No-Go on the Ostio Bi-Flex. Basically what they are doing is having a 50%off sale online, and then having a BOGO sale in stores. So it's still a good deal, but just not a MM.

Ok. I need advice. Today I did the theraflu deal and then triaminic. I just discovered I didnt get credit for the walgreens coupon. I really dont need these, but was stocking up since it would have been a money maker.
Should I return and then use the coupon and repurchase?:hysterical:

If you didn't get credit for either theraflu or triaminic, you were shorted $12 (3x$2 for each set of 3), so I would do something.
The sale is over, so you don't have the problem of repurchasing and getting a second set of $8RR.
If you used RR to pay for the items, you may have problems. I would explain what happened, and they can see it on the receipt that the amount is not there. They should be able to rering and give you a gift card for the amount if they say you didn't spend that $12 oop. I am sure one of the more expert HCW users can give you a better answer
