Don't know. I just traded for 2 of these and I am trying to figure out the same thing?

Anything that could go on a wedding spread for mingling?

Shrimp, smoked salmon and fancy cheese all sound like a premium entertaining snacks to me...now if it will to them is a different story. :giggle2:

I like the idea of shrimp....I wonder if they will. I hate sending in a receipt and no knowing for sure if what I bought qualifies.

Is there a number to call?

This could really be a good one, if we could just figure out what qualifies as premium....what about almonds, cashews?

Still hoping someone replies, I have two forms that I am waiting to send in.

This is so open to interpretation. If it needed to be specific items I would think the form would state that in ( ) like when Heine (sister company) did the Game Day Snacks they specified chips, pretzels, popcorn, nuts. I am still undecided myself on what to buy but am leaning towards cheese (lots), crackers, fruit and/or veggie platter maybe. Other things I think would be fine are hummus, shrimp, cocktail franks, party rye, etc. This is just my opinion though, not facts. I just don't see how it can be limited food items when it is so open to interpretation. I think by premium entertaining snacks they just mean something higher end than say the Game Day Snacks of chips, pretzels, popcorn, nuts. Maybe if it requires more effort than ripping the bag open or dumping it in a bowl it is premium. (LOL)

I traded for this but forgot to ask the person where they found it - does anyone know? Personally, I'm sending in a receipt for Freschetta pizzas and some cookies b/c I found a receipt with that in the dates needed. :)

I think it is so open to interpretation that most things will qualify other than the basic chips, pretzels, etc.

I also wonder if they will give the full $20/$30 to the NBPN states. I know one rebate I did from Heineken was like this ($10/$20 or $20/$30 - something like that), and even though I bought the higher dollar amount of food, I only got $10 back. Don't know if it was just me or if they did it to everyone, but I figured it was because I didn't have to buy any alcohol so they weren't going to give me the higher amount....
If I'm only going to get $10 back, I would rather only buy $20 worth of snacks... I wish they had a number to call...

I don't think they could do this on this rebate because if you read the fine print on the back...it says clearly under the NBPN states that you have both options.

Ok, I just found the toll free number - it is 1-877-522-5001. The good new is that any snack in the snack aisle will qualify. She said that it doesn't have to be premium and that they will not be picky about what you buy. :BigHand:
The bad news is that she was "almost positive" that in the NBPN states that you will only get the $10 off $20 since you are not buying any beer. I'm not sure if she really knew what she was talking about, or just wanted to get me off the phone!:giggle2:

agreed. the other heineken clearly stated in the very fine print that the NBPR states were only eligible for a smaller amount.

I think I'll do the $10 off $20 and call it a day, I guaranteed $10 is better then possibly losing the $10 extra I would spend on the $30 snacks. :shrug7:

I just called and spoke with Beverly.

I asked "what is a premium entertaining snack" and she said "I know with the premium pizza one they are telling us to accept any frozen pizza, so I would assume it is any snack...let me go ask someone for you."

She came back after asking and said, "It is any snack like pretzels, chips, Pepperidge Farms goldfish, etc."

I asked if her sources was pretty reliable and she said yes.

I then asked, "so shrimp and cheese wouldn't qualify then." and she said, "No" It needs to be something found on the snack isle of a grocery store."

I then asked about NBPN states getting $20 back and she said it will be exaclty like it is written on the form. The reason you couldn't get the full amount with the pizza one is because there was a specific clause written in it not allowing the full amount.

Now, I am ever more stomped than before....because I was already going to buy 20 boxes of crackers for 2 of the Nabisco Rebates and I am stocked on Goldfish...they expire so quickly. What to buy? What to buy? Wish I could find some Keebler graham crakers with the toy tokens!

I have put "don't remember", "not sure", and "??" on my forms and have always received the rebate.

I'm going to be really upset if they turn my shrimp, rolls, pepperoni and cheese down!

I called back and asked if it was before or after coupons and she said that since it says "can't be combined with any other offer" it must be $30 after coupons. A coupon is considered another offer. So, make sure the total receipt is high enough to qualify.

I also asked specifically about cookies and candy and was told yes, they do qualify.

I bought block cheese, string cheese and Tyson Anytizers. I hope mine doesn't get rejected. I could have easily purchased items from the snack aisle but the way I personally interpreted the form I thought it was regular "salty snacks" that I shouldn't buy.

Today I bought 10 boxes of crackers, 4 packages of cookies and 1 bag of Dorritos to satisfy this rebate....so we'll see. Should go through based on my phone call...but I still feel uneasy about it. I only paid $16 OOP, but I put enough other stuff in my order to get the "total purchase" over $30, so should be fine from that end...

Good luck to everyone on this one!

I am stocked on Goldfish...they expire so quickly. Actually they have long expiration dates on them. Have you ever been to a Pepperidge farm outlet? They have everything that is "outdated" or short dated. They claim that everything they sell last at least 6 months beyond the expiration date. HTH!!!

actually it can be multiple receipts but must all be dated the same date (like heineken usually does too).

Sorry...forgot about that part....I rarely take advantage of the multiple receipt/same day thing....my brain would short circuit. Its all I can do to get a 14 month old and a 2.5 year old through the store and not mess up the transaction. Coupons/rebates/math on both/ 2 young whiny kids....you get the picture:hysterical:
