If Febreeze noticeables SP is 7.99 or 8.49, 5-6 would be needed for this deal. the current MC is $4. so OOP would be 5.99x5=29.95 minus 4x5=20, OOP 9.95 or 5.99x6=35.94 minus 4x6=24 OOP 11.94. this will have to be split into 2 transactions. the ad does not say it has to be purchased in one transaction, but ............
a 15-20lb turkey at .69/lb would be 10.35-13.80.
if you need Febreeze noticeables then it would be worth it, but otherwise:shrug7:
Febreeze Air effects has a BOGO Q out, sale is 2/$5. if the free items count toward the turkey purchase, it might be better (or a combo) but i have no idea what the SP is for this one.
Any ideas on scenarios or prices?

B1G1 coupons at A&P usually result in a credit for the shelf price of the item for the freebie, so that would probably be a better route.

The Febreze items were regular price at my A&P in Stamford, CT. Just wanted to give a heads up that some stores may not have certain items on sale. My flyer is always about 5 pages shorter than what's online - maybe because mine is a A&P Foodmart. They might carry different sales.

savinmaven do i understand that correctly? you mean if the item SP is $4 and sale is 2/$5 then i use BOGO Q and pay $5-$4=$1 for 2?
on second thought are you saying that i get 2 with BOGO Q i will pay $2.50 but get credit for $8 toward the $40 P&G purchase?
how do i find out if this has to be purchased all at once or it accumulates on a card? would customer service know? not at the store but at corp cust service?
Any idea on air effects SP?
sorry, don't shop often enough at A&P I guess.

If item is shelf price $4 and on sale for 2.50 and you buy 2 and use B1G1F, once you scan the savings card it will deduct the $3 difference from shelf to sale price ($4-2.50 = 1.50 * 2) and when you scan the coupon it will deduct the shelf price ($4) of the free one. So you will actually pay $5 (sale price for 2) - 4 = 1. Actually, I've noticed that when using free coupons, but I don't know for sure if it works on B1G1F. I would think it would work the same, but cannot be sure.
The deal for the turkey should accumulate through the eligibility period on the bottom of the receipt. I'm not sure if the total will be before coupons and savings card, after savings card, or after savings card and coupons.

Okay, I just got back and tried the Febreeze Effects with the B1G1F coupon and it worked like this. Shelf is $3.19 and sale is $2.50. Rings up 3.19 each and when you scan the card it takes off 1.38 (.69 * 2). Then when i scanned the coupon it took off shelf price of 3.19. So 2/5 - 3.19 = 1.81 or .91 each.
It also shows at the bottom of the receipt that I have $5 towards turkey, so it gives you credit for the sale price, but does not deduct coupons from the amount towards the turkey.
I also used 3 .50/2 IPs for 6 Green Giant veggies and it spit out 2 $1 OYNSO Cats from GM, so really cheap GG.Also did the LOL Cat deal getting 3 LOL American Cheese. Shelf is 4.59 and on sale for $2 amd got the $3 Cat. 3*2=6-3 = 3 or $1 each. Pretty good stock up price.
Yoplait yogurt is .20 each after .40/4 coupons.

I was not brave enough to try BOGO, but took a look at the price of febreeze noticeable starter kits. they are 8.29 or 8.69 each (can't remember exactly). so for these, you would need 5. there is a $4 MC out, so all 5 would be $10. took a look at those turkeys and they are running $14-18.
Found a big poster of this deal with details and it says that ANY P&G item is good toward this deal. :BigHand:

Ok, you can call me blind, but where do you see it? i know the front page says that we should look at pages 10-11 in CURRENT ad, but there is nothing on those pages related to free turkey or P&G. i think this is a leftover from prior week ad. does anyone see something good for this week to make it to $40 of P&G?:shrug7:
