I was shot down when using the 5/5 or more purchase coupon when also buying items with the double coupon event, anyone else having this problem? They told me you cannot use the 5/5 type that print with the receipt or any of the oyno from the catalina machine if you are getting ANY coupons to double? Yet another frustration from kmart. I read the wording and to me i interepretated it as that those coupons would not double, not that you couldn't use oyno or rewards coupons.
Now i have 2 oyno rewards coupons and will have to make special trips just to use them separtely.

I was told today by a store manager that you can't use the any Kmart rewards coupons along with double coupons because they can't be combined with any other offer. He said they have to be used alone in a seperate transaction.
There was a big telephone conference call for all of the area store managers. He also said 10 coupons period per day, regardless of whether they are doubling or not. The shelf clearers have ruined it, and they have to enforce limits now. There are signs at every register and the cashiers will get in trouble if they don't follow the policy.

okay, thanks, I was wondering because things seemed a lot different today than when i went in on sunday, the cashiers and the manager who had to come over because the computer froze seemed really annoyed, and the manager did say that about the 5/5, that i couldn't use it because of the wording and that the coupons were limit 10 total no matter what, ie that the 5/5 was more than 10...I do feel bad for the cashiers though, I don't want to get anyone into trouble.
I told dh that he and ds can go with me tomorrow and they can just pick something out with the oyno's have so that i don't have to keep making trips up there just to use the oyno's.

It's no coincidence, and let me tell you, the thrill is gone...
Honestly, if you earned those reward crts and ONYO's, they really shouldn't be limiting how they are used.

Mine haven't limited yet. I used a $12 reward and a $5 OYNO in the same order no issue at 2 different Super K's. The Super K's are definitely not at the 10cpn limit either. I think they are at the 25cpn limit plus limit of 4 of the exact same item (multiple varieties count as individual items).
But we don't have a lot of shelf clearers here and I'm definitely not clearing the shelves so it may just be in certain regions they are having troubles.

there is nothing in the wording on the Catalinas from the SC Johnson/unilever deals that prevents it being used in conjunction with coupons period. not like some of the previous ones.

the catalinas are not kmart rewards coupons. they are manufacturer coupons FYI.
I cannot see how they can count non-doubling coupons in the 10 coupons per person limit. Course my stores are limit 25 but that does not include non doubling coupons.

Nobody said they were, and yes catalinas are mfr coupons.
I specifically discussed the point that the number limits usually apply to the doubled coupons, and that additional coupons had been allowed at face value, but the Store Manager claims Corporate is saying 10 coupons period per day.
I have emailed Corporate to clarify.

I'd say your store manager is about as educated on their policy as most of their customer service people... oh wait, they aren't... ahem... and just FYI I used a $12 off and my friend (who checked out right in front of me today) used a $5 off along with all of our doubles. He's wrong and corporate should tell you that... assuming they aren't just leaving it to the managers to decide...

I intend to go armed with corporate email next time ;)
Hopefully it will be in my favor.

The response from corporate was that the 10 coupon limit was on the coupons doubled, and that additional coupons should be accepted at face value. I wish these managers would get the rules straight.
