I was thinking about using my $15 ECB I got for the survey to buy:
6 12 pks coke 22.00
1 movie 4.99 (after instant credit)
----------------
26.99 before tax
- 5 off 25 flu IQ
- 15 ECB (free money)
---------------
6.99 plus tax - I think that's a pretty awesome deal!! Equals $1 for each item.

I got it today! Had to ask at the photo counter, the movie wasn't out on the floor yet. The $15 came right off at the register. I needed Diet Coke, price was a little more than I normally like to pay but it is a sweet deal on the movie.

I did this deal tonight, I bought:
6 12 pcks of coke
Movie
a starbucks coffee(btw, there's an EB reward listed on my receipt that says Starbucks/Amp Buy 2 Get $1 EB)
I live in CT so there's bottle taxes on the soda so it's alittle more expensive for me, but I walked out paying $19.22 OOP since I used $15 in ECBs that I got last night. Not a bad night at CVS for me =)
One note though, this isn't the 3D version of the movie. My husband was a little let down by that.

hostesscakes I think has a $4 rebate wyb the movie + 2 hostess products, form is supposed to be on their website.

There are some $1/2 coke 12 pk coupons that were on a sheet at Food Lion a while back. I see them a lot at CVS too.

ok so I have a deal I am trying to workup for tomorrow since I am sucha procrastinator, but I need to find out if I can get a coupon to buy this later or do I have to use the instant coupon? If I wouldve been smart I wouldve gotten the coupon on Monday but I am not sometimes and just wondering if anyones tried this so they can get the movie technically free using a second 5/25 on a later date. The fineprint says the 15$ will be deducted at time of purchase and coupon will expire 30 days after print date. It doesn't say you have to purchase it at the same time and if the coupon is good for 30 days then that would be a seperate transaction. I know its probably a HUGE ymmv but worth a shot. I have 10 .50/1 2liter peelies so this will workout by getting 10 2liters, 2 12pks for about $11 (using the accucheck as filler) and then being able to get the movie for free later if i can use it in a 5/25 deal and even sweeter with the rebate. sorry if its too confusing but my q's expire tomorrow so looking on how to use them.

Another add on is the Discover Card coupons, either $1 or $2 off a transaction. I also ran into the following deal on specially marked Diet Cokes for a Breast Cancer Awareness Slingbag. This was on a CF Diet Coke with Pink Ribbons on it. Buy $10 in Diet Coke/Fuze/Smartwater, and receive a Sling Bag (form printed inside box. There is a limitation here - receipts dated 10/1/09-10/31/09 and request received 11/9/09. Additionally, only open to residents of MN, WI, IL,IA, ND, SD, MO, NE, KS, MI, IN, OH, KY, PA. You need to send in form and receipt. Thus, if on is going for the rebate, there might be some issues since you'll have only one receipt.

Is there a way for non-soda-drinkers to get a sweet deal on this with the Hershey products and coupons? Does the $20 have to all be in one transaction?

The movie wasn't supposed to be released until Tuesday so if you wanted to do the deal BEFORE Tuesday you would get a coupon for the movie that expires in 30 days. If you waited until after Tuesday, you have to buy all the items together and the $15 is automatically deducted. You won't get the coupon now that the movie is officially out. HTH

If you are thinking of doing the Hostess rebate, you might want to call IBC, owner of the Hostess brand ( Contact Us » Hostess Cakes (http://www.hostesscakes.com/contact.aspx) ). I did this to ask them what they meant by "Family-Size". The individual said the 10 packs, not the individual servings. I told her I normally eat the 10 packs in one sitting and asked if it would still be considered "family-size" and she said yes. I also asked if one could purchase these products at a Hostess Outlet. She said yes. For my interest, she said she would send a coupon for use on a Hostess product in 7-10 business days. Only bummer, Hostess outlet does not accept their own q's.

I don't know about Hershey products, but the Coke products includes PowerAde.
I used 10 free PowerAde MCR Qs, a B10G5 PowerAde Q from Publix, and a 5o25 (Flu Quiz) to get the movie for the tax of about $1.50.

Yeah! Got mine today. DD's birthday is in two weeks and she's been having a fit to add this to our ever growing collection of DVDs. :hectic1: We had rented this Tuesday, when it came out, from Blockbuster with one of our online trade-ins. Our store is running a promo and we got a free book along with the free rental. DS's birthday in next month and he'll be getting the book.

Yeah um... TOTALLY Uncalled for and unnecessary. A $5/$25 that the OP is referring to, is printable after you take the flu quiz so it IS related to this thread.
No need to try to play mod and boss people around. I happen to know for a fact, the CVS mods are the best in the business. :wink7:

There are an awful lot of very touchy people here. Ease up people, I did say please.
And for those complaining about my supposedly bad tone, were you helpful enough to point to the actual thread on the Flu Quiz, which is at http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/cvs/276964-cvs-5-25-back.html#post2035538 (direct link to the post with a direct link to the quiz)? No. I am perfectly willing to point someone exactly in the right direction, once they detail what they are talking/asking about.
Rather than posting the same info over and over and over again in any thread that could use the coupon (which is pretty much every thread), it is considered adequate (even etiquette) to link to the thread directly. Believe it or not, some people are still on dialup (I'm not, but remember the frustration of when I was), and conserving bandwidth helps those with slow connections.
A note about the quiz if you go to the URL and it is not displaying - see http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/cvs/276964-cvs-5-25-back-2.html#post2052546

Well, I responded to your first post, so I'll respond to this one. I didn't know where the flu quiz link was because I haven't taken it yet. Plus, she clearly stated that she took the test and couldn't find the coupon. Since I haven't taken the test, then I can't respond to her question. I figured someone nice enough would come along and help her out, because that's what people here do.
Also, in regards to her posting it in multiple places...if she took the quiz and was looking for the coupon to print, then her time was probably limited. She needed an answer immediately and there's a chance that no one would see it if it was in one place. Sometimes if you don't respond quick enough to a website, the offer will expire or close or something, so she was just needing an answer quickly and thought posting it in multiple places would get an answer quicker.

I did this last night and it worked out great! I got 8 20oz pops (Diet Cokes and Sprites) and 8 king size candies (Reeses and Hershey's bars), two packs of Hostess donettes that we'll eat while watching Michigan win today and the movie. I used 8 $1 off wyb a 20oz and a king size Hershey's candy (from a tear pad someone sent me in a train), the $5/$25 from the flu quiz and some ecbs leftover from the last couple of weeks. I paid around $6 on a gift card and I'll get the mir back! Woohoo!!! I love CVS! I found some Arbor Mist wine tags too that have several offers on them!!!

I got super lucky did the deal got 10 2liters of coke 2 12 packs and a monitor for free plus made 2ECBs. I didn't buy the movie with it and was hoping to get the coupon to use later, the cashier said it would print out ( I asked before ringing everything up) When it didnt print the manager called the DM who said there were some issues and to print me 15ECB! I tried telling them that it wasn't 15 ECB but 15 off the movie but they just gave me the ECB woohoo so I got paid to take all those cokes off their hands!

Can somebody tell me what the Hostess rebate is? I was hoping to find a rebate for this movie.
Hostess | Monsters vs. Aliens Promotion (http://www.hostesscakes.com/mva/) - rebate link is there. Buy the movie and 2 Family Packs of Hostess (I called and they said any boxed Hostess, i.e. the 10 packs), get $4. Form actually notes the separate recpts for Hostess and for the movie, so they don't expect you to buy them on the same recpt.
