The manager at my store told me today they will not be accepting IP Q's unless it is from CVS.COM.
I called corp. to confirm what he had told me and they said he was correct. Corp. told me they were having to become strick with there coupon policy, too much fraud going on.
Have anyone else been told about this new policy?

If that is the case, CVS is going to need a chart of those coupons printed from their site. I just printed one and no where on the coupon does it say anything about CVS just coupon.com and the company product website.

Yeah, you do have a good point. My stores are really coupon friendly, so I sure hope that they still do allow IPs! Btw, love your avatar!

I had a cashier tell me the same thing yesterday in Southern California but she ended up accepting it "just this once"

I had the same thought - I printed the vaseline IP and no where on it does it say CVS only or use at CVS or the letters CVS in any spot.
My store is also super super nice about coupons and I always do play by the rules - so hopefully they still "trust" me lol

I too had the vaseline Q today and that's when he told me.
I printed it from vaseline.com. I just had one!!!!! It's not like I had 8 IP Q for the same item!:confused58:I wonder how cvs will know if it's from their website? Good question!! I think I might go to another location and see what they have to say. Now I just need a deal with an IP. I'll let ya'll know!!

I printed the vaseline q from CVS's website as well as from vaseline's website so how can he refuse to take a q that is on their own website?

I was told the same:hectic1: thing on Sunday, no more internet coupons accepted, good thing I didn't question her too much. I guess all good things have to come to an end:hectic1:

Ya know, if they spent HALF as much time training their staff how to spot "fraudulent" coupons as they do worrying about the IPs, they would have no problems with IPs. Seriously. With all the steps smartsource and bricks, etc go through to make sure you are playing by the rules it's simply the stores not knowing how to spot the fake ones that is causing the problems.

Wow! Corporate told you that? We should bombard CVS with emails and phone calls to see how many different answers we get about that!

I use printables about 99% off the time I shop at CVS. My belief is it is just a faze and not to worry. Keep on printing them...

Here is part of the coupon policy from tonight's email from CVS that's about IPs:
CVS/pharmacy will accept coupons printed from the Internet. They must have a legible barcode that scans at the register. If the coupon does not scan at the register, the cashier should politely inform you that we are unable to accept your coupon. We do not allow manual overrides at the register for coupons printed from the Internet. CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimiles.
Sincerely,
Kerri

It's strange where these new rules come from? It is amazing how many stores and their personnel misinterpret the coupon rules. It just comes down to poor training and attitudes toward coupons

I used a BOGO free Kids Boost Coupon last night.
My manager INSISTED they were included in the deal when I asked.
Well no ECB printed, but he said oh well and manually printed one for me! He rocks! Oh and he is new...

That's great! That makes sense!!!Just telling ya'll what I was told and was seeing of anyone else was told the same. My coupon that day had a legible barcode, they even took it but told me they would not any longer. That's when I came home and called corp. They said the same thing! I have not tried a different CVS yet!!!
