HARRIS TEETER: Is your store out of Viva paper towels?

Both of my stores (Wilson and Rocky Mount) have been out of the Viva single rolls FOREVER. I guess b/c of the $0.85 coupon they are selling really quickly but I go to HT about 2-3x per week so I would think by now I would have caught some on the shelf. I'm starting to think they just aren't stocking the shelves. Anyone else having this problem? I have some of the $0.85 coupons but I know as soon as I trade them, they'll get them in stock. :rolleyes24:

I spoke about this to my store manager and they said they were having issues with the manufacturer about this being supplied. They had no idea when they will get any shipment again in near future.

I traded for a bunch of these also and cannot find them now at HT.

I found some during the last super triples but they were gone again before I could use all my coupons.

I call shenanigans on the 'distribution' problem, every other retailer and grocery store around here has them.

My store has been out sence the 2 day of the last triples.I still have a few ..85 coupons.I hope they get a few before they expire on the 11th.

My HT actually had them last triples. But you're right - most of the time I go and there is just a empty shelf to greet me. :sad:

My stores finally had them during the last triples, but they sold out pretty quickly. They did not have them in stock for the previous 1 or 2 triple promos. When a friend asked, they also said that they were having problems getting them from the manufacturer. However, they always had plenty of the 2-roll packages - not that it was any help!

I'm leaning towards thinking this way too. Walmart and Food Lion had plenty. :shrug7:

I rarely purchase someone's time for coupons but I'm Viva loyal so I decided to get a few Viva .85 Qs online about a week before last triples. A few days before triples I was checking out HTs stock and noticed that there was NO Viva and triples hadn't even started at TWO different stores. There wasn't even any 6 packs (I wonder if my store was substituting 6 packs for the single rolls for customers?? I dunno). As the pessimist I am :giggle2:I thought maybe a customer was able to request them held all for herself or maybe they got rid of them for triples. Anyways, I went the first morning of triples and to my surprise and delight the Viva was in stock:shrug7: I went to triples 3 times that week and saw at least a few Vivas in stock everytime so at least my store isn't out to get us saavy shoppers, maybe you'll have to make a trip to Raleigh :biggrin:!

It's amazing that at my store they ran out. I saw alot people getting them and using 0.40 off coupons. I wouldn't pay that much for them but some people will.

I was able to find Viva the first two days of the last triples,then not even a place on the shelf that showed the price so thought they were going to stop selling the single rolls. Today however they do have the single rolls back in,would love to save the coupons I have for another triples,but rather have them at the doubles price than not at all!

Some of the smaller stores have stopped stocking the single rolls because of shelf space. That may be the case for those who can't find them. The larger stores here in Raleigh have them stocked, even though they did run out during triples.

Mine is one of the smaller stores, too, and I need to check to see our stock of Viva. I have tons of those q's and I want to maximize my return on those!

We were traveling this weekend so we decided to stop at the Gastonia store. I was so happy to see the store had plenty of stock but then I realized they went up to $2.69 so even with the coupon, I don't think that's a good deal. So I still don't have any papertowels. :rolleyes24:

My store was out before the last triples started and miraculously it was stocked the week after triples. I was there at 7 on the first day so could it be they aren't being stocked but are in the building? Who knows! The cashier seemed suprised there were none. The same happens with Scottie tissues. You couldn't find them during triples and I was told then that they don't carry them anymore...but they have reappeared on the shelf. Veeeeeeeeeeeery Currrrrrrrrrrrrrrious.
