Kmart Catalina coupon for 2.50 off holiday candy valid 11/8/09-11/25/09

I got this catalina coupon yesterday:
"save 2.50$ off you next Holiday Candy Purchase. Valid 11/8/09-11/25/09. Valid on candy purchases 2.50$ or more,'' looks like some free more free candy in a couple months. I bought 4 hersheys kisses in the transaction which i think is what triggered it, either that or the oreo cakesters I bought 2. this is a kmart coupon printed from the cat machine and starts with a 4.

I bought 1 hershey's kisses and got it too. It pretty much makes them freebies. I used a $1/1 Hershey's kisses as well (from some insert coupons my mom sent me) so .50 for the hero kisses and get a $2.50 cpn. :)

I bought over $20 in gum and candy and didn't get anything. Not sure if it was because their cats were down (none were printing at all the hour+ I was up front) or because they have certain promos turned 'off' or whatnot. I only paid $3 total for all the candy so it wasn't the end of the world but I'd really love to know what type of candy triggered the $5 cat and if the promo details are listed on it as well.

I purchased more than $20 dollars worth of candy, Hersheys, Nestle, Dentyne etc. and got nothing ..I did get my Natures Source Cat and the SCJ Cat for Glade Holiday and yet got no Candy Cat..sigh..

I bought 8 trident extra care ($1.49 ea - used bogo q's), 3 bags of hershey kisses (.50 ea after $1/1 q doubled) and 1 3 pk of extra gum ($2.49 minus $1/1 q doubled). I paid $1.49 oop

My sister got 8 trident and 8 dentyne and got the $5 cat. She paid nothing.

Also, if you're using the Dentyne coupons keep a look out for packs that have 2nd packs attached to them for free. I was able to score 16 free using 4 coupons this way.

I went today and purchased 14 Reese's, 2 Wrigley's Gum and 1 pack of Lifesavers and got the cat. Actually I got two because the first transaction messed up the computer so they had to close it out and when they did a cat popped out! They gave it to me for having to wait and check out at another computer. I couldn't thank them enough! Now I have 5 of these little guys and over about a 100 Reese's!

I got the email detailing this promo and did it successfully to get the $5 one tonight at a different SuperK. I'm going back to the other one in the morning and force the issue with the non-printing cats since I now have proof of the promo. I also need to have them fix the price of the soda since it is in ad price and they overcharged me big time.

I called the Catalina Company and they are sending me my $5 candy coupon..They could see that I made the purchase and didn't know why that one didn't print when the others in the transacation did...They were super nice..I have only had to call in all these years, twice..and each time I have had no issues with the Cat co.

Who do you call? I didn't want to waste the gas or the hour of my time today to go back to the store to have them give me the missing $5 since I wasn't going to run any transactions there. If I can just call the company then that's tons easier!
