CVS: Gillette Fusion Razors on clearance

The Gillette Fusion Phantom Razors are on clearance at my CVS for $5.00, and the Gillette Fusion Phantom Power Razors are $5.75; and they are producing $5.00 ECBs.

I bought the non-powered Phantom for $1.00 with the $4.00 coupon from today’s P&G insert and received $5.00 ECBs.

Ooh.. I checked 1 store and they were like 5.99 on clearance and then another store said they weren't clearanced at all! Lol.. will try again tomorrow, maybe they're being sneaky!

0 47400 02677 3 - That is for the non-powered Phantom for $5.00, it is silver/gray. I don't know the barcode for the powered version for $5.75, but I do remember that it is black and says power on the package.

It wouldn't hurt to have them scan one just to check, it could be priced for clearance in their system but not on the shelf. And $5.99 would still be a $3.01 MM.

I bought a clearance Fusion today at $5 and she had to force the ECB's to print. We read the ad together and she determined before I bought it that ANY razor would count and had no problems forcing the ECB's through.

I've run into problems at my store several months ago when a Aveeno product was clearance (Not on clearance shelf, bar code not marked through) and did not print the expected ECB's. Manager told me that clearance items will not produce the ECB and they will not force them. So I guess it's a YMMV sort of thing.

Same here...I found the PHENOM (not Phantom) on sale for $5.00. ECB did not print on clearance... Oh well, can't win 'em all!!!!

I'll have to check my CVS as soon as I can. It seems to me that even if your ECB don't print, it's still a good deal.
I hope my fav cashier is in so he can force the ECB if they don't automatically print.

My stores won't force the ecb on clearance items. but wags price 8.99 get $6 rr =$1 mm with $4 coupon. this is on the new version, "MVP".

I got 2 of these today (2 different stores/transactions) the PHENOM upc 047400026773 rang up $5.00 (so regular clearance not barcoded blacked out) used the $4q no ECB printed. Had to have the cashiers manually print the ECB using my card and not the receipt. AT first they didn't want to do it because they said it was a clearance item, but after showing that the ad doesn't say excluding a certain type or clearance they put it thru. I also told one can you just try to see if it will print if you manually do it and if not ill just return it. Usually they will do it and it should almost always go thru instead of them having to do the return rering and all that stuff.

Mine made the same assesment. And really I can't fight that logic. Good job to those who got this deal. I took the rest of my Qs to Walgreens this week.

Ok, at my store, the Phenom with bonus pack did not scan, so cashier called the store manager at home and he told her to just get anther razor and ring it up. Ummmm, no!

I got one of the manual for $5. and the battery $6.00 this week and I got my $5.00 ECB back. Both clearance worked toward the ECB they have this week. One for me and one for DH card.

Which kind... Phantom, Phenom, MVP... LOL Are there more types? Did I miss any? It's a bit confusiing sometimes, all the different types of Gillette Fusion. TIA

Found the last Phenom in my area (where there are 3 different CVS's!) for $5, and it printed $5 ECB.

The Power Phantom rang up as 11.99 in my store, though-no clue if it would have produced ECB's.

And the Phenom bonus pack didn't ring up in my store either (they scanned it 3 different ways and the system had no idea what it was). There weren't any Phenom razors in the store so the manager also tried to ring it up as a regular Fusion-definitely don't let them do this to you, it's a rip off!

The $6 one was probably the Phantom, it rang up 11.99 (so it would be $6 clearanced) in my store and it was battery powered. They had the Phenoms and Phantoms on and endcap instead of with the regular razors, so I'm guessing they're the ones getting discontinued.
