Oh yes. I love mine. I have lower back problems so had issues with mops. I use this with no problem at all. Best investment I've made. Am actually thinking of getting the newer model they have out and use the old one for the basement.

I just got a steam mop and love it! We have a 2200 square foot home with only two bedrooms that are carpeted and the rest is tile/hardwood, I got a new eureka enviro steam mop off ebay for 60$, the best thing about them is that they use only water to clean and the resuable washable pad, they are awesome and no harsh chemicals either and no throw away pads or cleaning solution either. There is also a highly rated one called steamfast you can order at walmart.com for about 45$.

I hate them. The only thing I have found that works is an old fashioned mop and bucket and of course hard work. The other ways to me are not cleaning very well. I am a fanatic about my floors they have to stay white all the time. I mop at least once a day or more if needed.

I have a Bona mop system and I like it a lot better than my old Swiffer. This has reusable/washable microfiber pads for the different jobs, so you aren't having to go out and buy the disposable refills. Good on your wallet and the environment, too. I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with a 20% off coupon.

I have a reg. mop and a Swiffer and if you only need a light cleaning the Swiffer works fine but if you want a good cleaning its not the best... the handles tend to be weaker because of the seams in the handle and I think the cost to replace the cleaner is too high as well... so when I am really wanting to get a great cleaning on my floors I use my mop and when its a lighter type job like my kids have tracked in mud.. I go for the Swiffer. HTH!

My mil got us a wetjet, thinking it would make things easier in the cleaning department. I hate it. I have never once been able to use it without it leaving a sticky residue on the floor. I thought maybe I was just using too much of the solution, but even with using much less of the solution the floors were still sticky. I would rather just use the ol' mop and bucket and not have sticky floors, plus I hate using things that aren't reusable or recyclable.

I want to get a steam mop, but I've read mixed reviews on various ones and just don't want to spend that kind of money to find out the bad reviews were the correct ones.

My house gets more dirt than normal because my garage doesn't have a roll up door and plus the garage opens to my kitchen. No mud room.
I have junk like red dirt and pet hair being tracked in and the scatter rugs and indoor outdoor carpet on the steps just doesn't catch it all.

I have a wet jet and it is in the pantry not being used. It leaves my dirty floor streaky and sticky. Once my floor is clean I can use it every day and it does well - just doesn't do well if the floor is really dirty or if I miss a day. Which happens a lot.
I think the wet jet would probably do better for an apartment compared to a house in the boonies.

The steam mops -
I bought a refurbished shark at freds and I still use it. The only draw back for me is it pushes stuff to the corners - stuff I don't even know where it came from - lol. I do sweep/dust mop first, but stuff builds up on the washable microfiber mop head and attached to the baseboards. Even after I put on a clean cloth the stuff is stuck in the corners.

I have a bona knock off from hsn. It does well and it has rewashable microfiber cloths but I think the steam mop gets my floor cleaner because of the steam. The bona knock off doesn't leave stuff in the corners or deposited the baseboards like my steam mop.

I hated the Swiffer. made my floors sticky and dull. Attracted more dirt than it cleaned, plus it leaked. Refills are expensive too. I'd rather use a plain old mop. In between cleanups i put a wet washcloth on the dry Swiffer head with a spritz of cleaner, works fine for me!!!

I have one, but I'm not replacing the cleaner. I found a recipe online for a cleaner to refil it and I'm sure you can google it. AND I've read that using a cloth diaper instead of the disposable pads works even better AND you can just throw it in the washer!!!

I have one and love it. its a lot better than bending down to ring the mop out. I love it and its faster than the old way, its expensive, but i think in the long run it pays for itself.
