How are people using these? There's such a high demand for them.

Are they buying one thing and using the q to pay cents? Isn't it bad to use your cc so often? And when using the q, do they show the cashier proof that they will use that card to pay?

I'm just wondering....Thanks!

No, it is not bad to use your cc often. Makes no difference.

I purchased some of these coupons and plan to use them to make numerous transactions. Like for milk and things I never get Qs for.

I'm sure you just use the coupon and your Discover Card and there are no questions asked. Don't see why it would be a problem.

DH used one last night. There was no issue.

We only got two, so I just planned to use them on items we have no coupon for. I guess if a cashier did get anal about it, just show them the card you plan to pay with.

I've never heard of it being bad to use your CC often. Bad for the store maybe (they lose money on mutiple small transactions) but not for the customer.

I traded for some to give to my parents since they have a Discover card. I figured they could use 1 a week to help with their big grocery trips. But my mom used one the other day at Bed/Bath/Beyond (ours takes Manf Q's since they have a mini drug store type area) and another at Toys R Us. So now I think I'll have to trade for a few more!!

I don't think it makes a difference how often you use your CC, or how little you pay. Each time my mom handed over the q, she showed the cashier her card and the cashier scanned the coupon.

I use my Discover card almost every day for small and large purchases. Never have had a problem and my credit score is great. The only time I've had Discover question any of my purchases was when I got gas at 3 different gas stations several hundred miles apart. They just called me to make sure I was the one using the card and that it hadn't been stolen.

Does anyone know if these can be used with a Discover PrePaid card?

:question8:

Just a curiosity question.

Thanks!

I don't have enough of these to break up my trips into smaller transactions, I've just been using them on regular trips when my total is more than $2.

Sometimes the casher asks if I am using my Discover, usually if they have to over-ride it, and I'll show it to them, other times they just scan thru.

I already have my grocery money budgeted out, so I'll just use it to pay the bill at the end of the month. I haven't used my card in years, so there was no balance on it.

These are just like manuf cpns you get in Sunday paper. Only a few states got it a few Sundays back. I think FL was one of them. You get $2 off any purchase above $2 at any place that accepts coupons. One per transaction. You should pay with your Discover Credit card. I traded for a few and have used it at HT, Safeway and WAGS.

IMHO these were the best coupons I have seen in a long while!!!
I do have a Discover card, so woohoo!!

I had about 10 of them. That is $20 worth of free stuff for me! I used them at grocery stores to "buy" meat and other essentials, CVS to "buy" FREE after ECB stuff, Riteaid to "buy" FREE after rebate stuff, and even a liquor store took one for a bottle of wine I was buying. :)

I used them all in separate transactions, small denominations totals.

It is not problem at all to use your credit card for a million small charges. I personally use my credit cards for every single thing I purchase. I get rewards on my purchases and I always pay my bills in full automatically (set up online to automatically deduct directly every single month from my savings account - so they get paid no matter what). I pay less than $40 a month for groceries every month for 4 years....most months I pay practically nothing at all. It is not unusual for me to have a two page statement full of .10 and .07, etc. charges!!!!! The cashiers think I am nuts for using my credit card for .04 totals, but hey! It definitely adds up!! I get lots of cash back for just using credit cards instead of cash. YEY!

These coupons ROCKED!!!!!!
